  • Dinner at Flavour, Zest or a three course dinner at Smoked, Sea Dragon or Azure from the special chef’s menu (booking recommended)
  • Unlimited selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during lunch and dinner and at Breeze Bar (10am to 12am), the Beach Club (10am to 6pm) and Forbidden Bar (7pm to 12am)
  • Complimentary rental of snorkelling equipment, standard kayaks and paddleboards

Kandima Island is honestly one of the nicest places I’ve ever been to. White sand, turquoise water, and so much marine life around the island — we saw tons of fish, small sharks, dolphins, and even turtles. The resort is very well kept overall, even though you notice a few small spots here and there that could use a bit of maintenance. Nothing major though. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. If you need anything, you can just message the front desk in the Kandima app and they usually reply within about 30 minutes, which was super convenient. We also had some extras included: a complimentary sunset cruise with wine, a 10-minute go-kart drive, and a beach dinner, which was a really nice experience. Dinner at Smoked is very good, but definitely on the pricey side. The buffets at Zest and Flavour (included with half/full board) are solid, with a good variety and something for everyone. One thing to keep in mind: the island is quite big, so be prepared for a lot of walking. Distances between restaurants, rooms, and activities can be long. There is a hop-on hop-off bus, but it doesn’t always run on a consistent schedule, so you can’t fully rely on it. Overall, I’d say Kandima offers good value for money compared to other large resorts in the Maldives — especially considering the setting, the service, and everything that’s we had included (we booked a black friday deal).

We stayed at Kandima Maldives for our honeymoon, and it was honestly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly special. The resort went above and beyond to celebrate our honeymoon, they arranged a complimentary romantic honeymoon dinner for us and even surprised us with multiple comped drinks during our stay, which was such a thoughtful touch. A special shout-out to Shafi and Rasel, who truly made our trip exceptional. They took amazing care of us throughout our stay, always checking in, making sure everything was perfect, and going out of their way to make our honeymoon feel extra memorable. Their warmth and hospitality really stood out. The resort itself is stunning. The water is crystal clear, the beaches are pristine, and the villas are beautiful and spacious. There are so many activities to enjoy, from snorkeling and water sports to relaxing by the beach or enjoying the different restaurants. The food across the resort was fantastic with plenty of variety, and every meal felt like a treat. What we loved most was the overall vibe of Kandima, it’s luxurious but also very relaxed and fun, which made it perfect for a honeymoon. The sunsets are breathtaking, and waking up every day in paradise felt surreal. Thank you to the entire Kandima team for making our honeymoon so special. We made memories that will last a lifetime and would absolutely recommend Kandima Maldives to anyone looking for a beautiful, fun, and memorable island getaway.

Our recent stay at this resort was nothing short of spectacular. If you are looking for the relaxation, and family-friendly vibes, this is the place to be. What truly set this experience apart was the impeccable service. In particular, we want to give a special shout-out to Mr. Calu. He took incredible care of our room, ensuring it was spotless and perfectly comfortable throughout our entire stay. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel right at home. I had a great stay at Kandima Maldives and I am very satisfied overall. The views around the island were absolutely beautiful. I really liked the rooms, which were modern and very comfortable. The room cleaning service was also excellent, and everything was always spotless. Additionally, the food was good and there were plenty of tasty options. Overall, I had a fantastic time at this resort. I highly recommend it for a relaxing vacation. A special thanks to the Dhiraj Mandal who cleaned our room for doing such a great job every day
