  • Personal greetings on arrival and departure at international and domestic airport

We had a wonderful stay at Kudafushi (which looks like heaven on earth!) Our water villa with a private pool was absolutely amazing and always spotless. As a vegan, I was very grateful that Samatu ensured I had vegan options across all restaurants. We also want to sincerely thank Areej, Chazeen, Riska, and Ziyad for their constant kindness always smiling and available whenever we needed anything. Kiki coordinated everything perfectly to ensure we had a pleasant vacation. And a special mention to Saamir, the manager, who was very understanding and helpful in resolving a small issue we had at the beginning of our trip. Marta was an exceptional dive master very friendly and knowledgeable. Amazing spa too, the massages were incredible.

We stayed at Kudafushi in October and had a fantastic experience. The island is small and easy to walk around. The staff truly made the stay special. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, especially the restaurant teams, Juju Bar staff, housekeeping, and the leisure centre team. Food was delicious and varied, with a great buffet and two additional restaurants with set menus included in the all inclusive package (reservation required). Food was especially great at the main buffet (always had some kind of pasta, different grilled meat options, rice, chips/pizza/burgers etc.) Snorkeling was excellent with a beautiful reef, and the spa was fabulous. The stay also includes a good range of activities such as paddle boarding, kayaking, diving, and yoga, which was a great bonus. We had a couple of rainy days during our stay and a range of additional activities at the leisure centre were offered asap. Lounge access was provided while waiting for transfer, and we were kindly upgraded to a seaplane transfer, which was a lovely experience. Any algae on the water villa stairs was cleaned promptly upon request. Overall, Kudafushi exceeded our expectations. For the Maldives, we felt the price was very good for what is offered, and the value for money was excellent. We would happily return.

I spent 1 full month at Kudafushi during a time I was going through significant physical and mental challenges (a back injury, plus severe burnout following 3 years serving in Ukraine). Kudafushi was truly heaven on Earth. Because of my time there, I am already seeking to return to the Maldives for another month in 2026, and hope to make this an annual ritual. My time at Kudafushi was that enriching, peaceful, and serene. I have traveled to 89 countries and done foreign government work in 16. There is no place in the world (or that I have been, at least) like the Maldives, and Kudafushi amplifies its magic. Each evening I would wade in the ocean as the sunset went down, being able to see horizon-to-horizon (how many places on Earth can one still do this?), seeing impossibly huge clouds slowly float by as if in their own world. Before going to sleep, I would sit out on the deck of the overwater villa, looking up at the hundreds of stars in the sky, watching the reflection of the moon dance on the ocean waters lulling me to sleep. Perfection... Upon departing Kudafushi, I did have a billing issue, but through the incredible efforts of Kudafushi's Director of Sales & Marketing, Sahan Kannangara, the issue was resolved. Sahan spent nearly 2 months tracking and supporting my case with the agency I booked from (Trivago), who incorrectly double charged me on taxes. Sahan did not have to do this, as the double charge was not Kudafushi's fault, and I had already departed the resort. But Sahan cared. He wrote numerous emails to Trivago and other intermediaries, and constantly checked-in on me. Without Sahan, I would not have received my money back from Trivago. Even for a 5-star resort, this was truly exemplary, above and beyond professionalism and service. I am extremely grateful to Sahan and his team, and just know that if you visit Kudafushi, you will receive exceptional care.

We spent a few magical days here celebrating my mom’s birthday — and it was absolutely unforgettable! 💫 The hotel went above and beyond to make the day special: they beautifully decorated our room, surprised us with a delicious cake, and offered warm wishes from the entire team. To our delight, we also received a complimentary room upgrade to a stunning villa with breathtaking ocean views — such a wonderful surprise! The island itself is pure paradise: crystal-clear water, white sand beaches, lush greenery, and complete tranquility. Every moment felt perfect, thanks to the kindness and attention of the staff. A special thank you to the manager and the restaurant team for the amazing birthday dinner — it was delicious, elegant, and truly heartwarming. ❤️ Thank you for creating such unforgettable memories for our family. We were here in May 2023 for a 10 nights. Great resort, the island is just big enough for walking, everywhere clean. I must highlight the great staff, constantly caring and looking after us. We spent 5 nights in a beach villa and 5 nights in a water villa. I definitely recommend this resort. Maldives are magical place🩵
