This was our very first time in the Maldives and we had a truly wonderful time at Royal Island. We couldn’t have picked a better place. Our beach villa was gorgeous and it was wonderful being able to step right out onto the sand and into the turquoise blue ocean. The snorkelling was also great, just yards from the jetty there were loads of colourful fishes and even a reef shark (I think) popped up to say hello. We stayed on an all inclusive basis which was super good value and the food was delicious and varied. Our included night at the al a carte restaurant was also a great experience. Loved it. And we loved our evening cocktails as we watched the sun go down every night. The staff are super friendly, helpful and thoughtful, going out of their way to anticipate your needs but never being intrusive. We would like to thank everyone on the island who contributed to making our stay so memorable from our daily cleaner, those responsible for the beaches and beautiful landscaping, as well as the cooks, bar staff and those in guest services. While I sadly don’t have the names to hand of everyone we met, special thanks to Ibu, our liaison, Maku and Annhil in the restaurant, and Shwarna, Kuvani and Made in the bar. We will definitely be back!!! We highly recommend this resort.

From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The staff are incredibly friendly, always smiling, helpful, and genuinely caring, making every guest feel special from the very beginning. The island itself is absolutely beautiful. It is full of lush tropical greenery, well-maintained gardens, and peaceful shaded paths that create the feeling of being in a true paradise. The natural beauty of the island is one of its greatest strengths. We would also like to compliment the food. There is a great variety of delicious, high-quality dishes every day, with something for everyone to enjoy. One thing we truly hope is that the resort preserves its unique character. We have heard about possible renovations, but we believe the natural atmosphere, abundant greenery, and authentic island charm are what make Royal Island Resort so special. We sincerely hope that any future improvements will preserve the island’s unique beauty rather than change it. Thank you to the entire Royal Island Resort team for making our vacation so memorable. We would be happy to return and will definitely recommend this wonderful resort to our family and friends.

Aron & Merlina, Saji, and Buddhika delivered truly outstanding hospitality throughout our stay. From arrival to departure, the entire experience felt seamless, warm, and genuinely personal. The food was consistently excellent — high quality, well-presented, and with a great variety that reflects a premium all-inclusive standard. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared rather than mass-produced. The rooms are cozy, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a relaxing atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Housekeeping standards are excellent, and attention to detail is clearly a priority. What really stands out is the staff. Everyone we interacted with was warm, attentive, and proactive without ever being intrusive. The service feels highly personalized, with genuine care behind every interaction. The all-inclusive offering is truly premium — not just in terms of variety, but in overall quality of food, beverage, and service. It delivers strong value for money compared to similar properties. Overall, it’s a well-balanced experience combining great service, quality dining, and a comfortable stay. The team deserves credit for maintaining such a high standard of hospitality.

Our stay at Royal Island Maldives was absolutely amazing! 🌴💙 From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. A special thank you to Nahil, our host, whose kindness, support, and attention to every detail made our stay even more memorable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and his warm hospitality truly made us feel at home. The house reef was simply incredible — beautiful marine life, amazing snorkeling, and something new to discover every time we went into the water - dolphin, sharks, octopus - a real aquarium of fishes. 🐠🐢 The activities were also fantastic, with plenty to do while still having that perfect feeling of relaxation. The food was delicious, with great quality, where our special preferences were always taken care. What really stood out was the hospitality of everyone on the island. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to make our experience special. Royal Island exceeded our expectations, and we are leaving with wonderful memories. ❤️ A huge thank you to Nahil and the entire Royal Island team — we would happily come back!

We had a wonderful family stay at Royal Island Beach & Spa Maldives from the end of June to early July. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. Special thanks to Noble, who greeted us and constantly kept us informed throughout our stay. He was always helpful and available. We would also like to thank Habib from the dining area for his kindness and friendly service. A special thanks to Simbat from the kids’ room as well — our children were very happy there, and we appreciated the care and attention. The island is beautiful, the atmosphere is peaceful, and the service was excellent. Thank you to the whole team for a great family holiday.
