This may not be a 5 star resort, but it is still a wonderful hotel. The room I had was nice (penthouse suite) and the cost was reasonable. I can only imagine how this place would be and look with modern upgrades/renovations. If you can get past the hotel not being ultra modern, you will definitely be pleased. Also, the customer service is excellent. I was supposed to checkout at 10 but I was given until 12 to allow my son extra time to enjoy the pool. The staff went above and beyond and they deserve commending (the front desk, Heather, Hamilton, Brian, etc.). They are a great representation of real hospitality. I definately recommend this hotel if you are okay without all the ultra modern luxury bells and whistles that saturates everything these days. However, I don't recommend coming if your expectations are luxury and you like to complain about everything. I usually stay in 5 star and 4 star hotels. This time I took a chance to try something different because of a promotion (i always say you get what you pay for), but I was okay with the hotel and accommodations because I didn't come expecting the four seasons (however the treatment is definitely four seasons quality). The bottom line is, if you are coming to enjoy the resort and staff with open-mindedness, you will leave happy, satisfied, and will return to the hotel again.

Can’t beat this resort for the price and the amenity’s. Great location walking to the gap, plenty of amenity’s included Mini golf, pickleball, playground for children and 2 pools. Located on a great beach and eveyone was so nice. Would 10/10 recommend to stay here.

My family and I enjoyed every aspect of Divi. Smooth check in. Went straight to the room. They were more than happy to switch us to a lower floor rather than the top floor....thanks a million Shernada (hope i spelt it right, front desk supervisor) The facilities are amazing and very kid friendly Pureocean wait staff and bartender ( cant remember his name very unique name. Toscinata(hope i spelt it right)( Leo...bday on 15th Aug) you are amazing. Thanks divi staff we will definitely return!

Its great try it!! Right on the gap, beach location, lovely staff very warm and welcoming. Great!! We stayed here in 2015, and although the pool location has changed a bit, it's still the same relaxing laid back cool place to stay. The room was just right for what we needed, highly recommended 👌🏿

The only good thing I can say about this place is the location. Close to some very good restaurants and bars. The room a/c was very loud, the water pressure in the shower was absolutely horrendous (not just our room either), literally trickled out. No nightlife entertainment, 1 restaurant that was ridiculously expensive, especially breakfast, which was terrible. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will not be going back to this "resort."
