I admit it's my fault for not doing enough research before booking... The location is great and very convenient! However, the room cleanliness was disappointing, a thick layer of dust everywhere, which felt unhygienic. The bathroom had a strong unpleasant odor, just as mentioned in other reviews 😭The bedsheets and duvet also had visible stains… Really disappointing. On a positive note, the hotel’s retro-style decor is quite charming and visually appealing. Oh, and a heads-up for those who aren’t early risers — think twice! The mosque is really close, and the sound is extremely loud. The soundproofing is very poor. I stayed on the 2nd floor, and the restaurant downstairs was also really noisy. I went out to take a look — it wasn’t even crowded, so I’ve no idea why it was so loud 🥲. How is anyone supposed to sleep?

This hotel is much better quality then most of the other hotels I've seen. Especially when compared to the prices that you must pay in Malaysia. Sadly in Malaysia now all the prices have gone up with hidden taxes and none of the quality has improved. This hotel is so much nicer and worth the money I have spend. Small little details and excellent service and staff are to me the most important things about this place. For the price that I have paid for this hotel in comparison to the many other hotels I've been to and stayed at, this is by far the best value for the money. If I ever return to Malaysia I will immediately go straight to this hotel and not waste my time with over priced hotels or cheap hotels with terrible quality.

It's priced as a budget hotel, but it has a lot of terrific features. The location is right in the heart of Georgetown, and you can walk 100m in any direction and find a wide range of cafes, restaurants and merchants. The building itself is architecturally fascinating inside. It looks small from the outside, but is huge inside. My family room was very clean and comfortable with good wifi, incredible air conditioning, and a nicely renovated bathroom. The staff here are helpful and attentive without ever being intrusive. There aren't so many amenities - but in this location, you can find anything you need from the nearby 7-Eleven.

This is the worst hotel i have ever been to!!! 1. At first they placed us in ground floor. We were stunned because is right in front a restaurant which the room is facing the customers. 2. Noisy even we are moved to upstairs. 3. Awful toilet smell when we were in ground floor. 4. Super loud morning call from the mosque in early morning 5am. 5. They just shut the power supply when the time is just 1130am when the chrck out time stated 12 noon. The only complement we can give is just when we complained about the toilet smell, they allowed us to move to another room.

PLEASE WAIT...
