A very special thank you goes to Sara, who was absolutely exceptional. She showed incredible kindness, professionalism, care, and dedication, especially during a difficult situation involving our son's health. She went above and beyond to help us, and we will never forget her support. She is a truly wonderful person. We would also like to congratulate the entire entertainment team. They are incredibly energetic, friendly, and talented, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere every day. In general, every member of the hotel staff was attentive, helpful, and always greeted us with a smile, making us feel at home throughout our stay. We had a wonderful and memorable holiday, and we highly recommend El Olivar Palace to anyone looking for excellent service, warm hospitality, and a fantastic holiday experience. Quite a mixed experience. The hotel had a lot to offer, but a few negative moments soured our stay. The hotel is big, it is well decorated and offers a lot of activities - outdoor and indoor swimming pool, water slides for the kids, a spa, a bar. The restaurant served a variety of dishes, which were different every day and the food itself was mostly good. The rooms were also clean. The entertainment team was very friendly and talkative. The spa offered amazing massages, especially a lymph drainage massage. Sadly, there were a lot of drawbacks. The service was very slow. A room next to ours had left dirty dishes in front of the door. It took the room service staff three whole days to remove them. The canteen was dirty and very unhygienic. There were birds flying inside and there were droppings smeared on some of the chairs. The indoor “heated” pool was tepid at best. The organisation was also very chaotic. One of the evening we had an event in the other end of the city, for which we had to leave around 30 minutes after dinner begins. Annoyingly, the restaurant was late and opened 30 min later than planned. Because of that we had to eat fast and were also late for our event. The most unpleasant part was at the end of our stay. At checkout we were forced to pay a “tourist fee”. There is no such fee in Marrakech. We know for a fact that the rest of our big tourist group did not have such a fee in other hotels in Marrakech.

Our group of 18, made up of both adults and children, recently stayed at El Olivar Palace, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everything about our stay was exceptional. The Junior Suite truly felt like a home away from home. It was spacious, spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable, giving us the perfect place to relax after each day. What really made our stay unforgettable was the outstanding service from every single member of staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we had everything we needed. A special thank you to Nadia, our housekeeper, whose attention to detail and warm nature were greatly appreciated. We'd also like to recognise the wonderful young ladies at reception, who greeted us with genuine smiles every day and were always happy to help with anything we needed. Their kindness, professionalism, and dedication to making our stay comfortable and memorable were nothing short of exceptional. Travelling as a large group can sometimes be challenging, but the team at El Olivar Palace made everything effortless. Both the adults and the children had an amazing time, and we created memories that we'll cherish for years to come. We would highly recommend El Olivar Palace to anyone looking for outstanding hospitality, beautiful accommodation, and exceptional customer service. We have no doubt that we'll be returning on our next visit to Marrakech. Thank you to everyone at El Olivar Palace for making our stay so special!

This is an okay hotel, staff are friendly and welcoming. However I definitely wouldn't class it as 5-star. I would say it's a very good 3 star standard, maybe 4 star at best. The rooms are spacious and very clean but the wallpaper is peeling, there are stains on the wall and the glass on our sofa was cracked. In the food hall are wasps and flies landing on the buffet and on your plates. It seems this is normalised because staff didn't respond when flies landed on the food on display. There are wasps all over the bar where the drinks are made too. The food is really not great either, I only eat it because I'm hungry and paid for this all inclusive. When I checked in to my room I wanted to shower but there were no towels. Staff said I have to wait an hour to get a towel. Not the end of the world, but this is meant to be 5 star. And after a long flight I'd like to shower on my own timing. The pool is big, however this is a very family friendly hotel so it is full of children. They also play loud music so the pool is not somewhere to go and relax with some quiet. Something to bear in mind if that's the kind of trip you're after.

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything was clean, tidy, and very well maintained. What stood out the most was how welcoming and helpful all the staff members were throughout our stay. Their kindness and professionalism made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The overall atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.
