I stayed at Valeria Madina Club Marrakech and honestly, it was a very disappointing experience. The customer service was extremely poor from start to finish. Staff at reception were unhelpful and didn’t seem to care about guests’ concerns. Simple requests took forever or were just ignored. The waiters were unprofessional and inattentive. Getting basic service at meals or the bar felt like a struggle every single time. You constantly have to chase someone just to be served. The bar service was equally bad. Long waits, disorganized staff, and a general lack of hospitality. It really takes away from what should be a relaxing experience. What shocked me the most is how cheap the hotel is when it comes to bottled water. For a resort style hotel, you’d expect basic essentials to be available without feeling restricted, but that’s not the case here. It feels like everything is controlled and limited in a very unpleasant way. Overall, this hotel does not live up to expectations at all. Poor service, bad organization, and disappointing hospitality. I would not recommend staying here

The AC in the rooms are no good they don’t cool down the room staff weren’t helpful about this. Now some of the staff were very nice. A few broken lights and sensors around the resort , it’s not nice for small children with all these wires exposed out on the open, as for the pool light just hanging off that wasn’t even repaired while was there. The food area was quite annoying with birds flying around while eating breakfast/lunch/dinner. I feel the staff are not trained or organised appropriately to handle the many guests seems to be running around, trying to cleaning tables some weren’t even bothered to clear the tables. The lack of water dispensers around the resort. The animation team/ kids disco were so un organise.

Overall, the room was very dirty and did not meet European standards—something evident in the photos. During our stay, the housekeeping staff only replenished the water and toilet paper; there was a lack of organization. We were a party of four and were given a room completely different from the one we had booked; when we raised the issue, the manager didn't even come out to speak with us—she simply disregarded us. In fact, three families in total reported that they hadn't received the rooms they had reserved. We were provided with a broken bed for the child; after two complaints, it was finally replaced with an intact one, but it was so dusty that the thought of using it was repulsive. The staff, with the exception of the manager, were very friendly and helpful.A lack of investment is evident in the rooms—broken and incomplete furniture.There was plenty of food and it was generally tasty, but there were instances of stale soups, sauces, or even croissants, and a few times I came across fermented fruit.The pools are clean, and the sun loungers are too.

We arrived late and they were packing away food from tea, they saw us and began to bring us some food out which was nice. Room was clean and the staff left the room clean everyday, some days they didn't leave us water but we brought refillable bottles which was recommended by others. Food was ok, we are English so didnt like a lot, there were standard options like chips, pizza, chicken nuggets and a salad section we made baguettes with. Drinks could have been better, not a great selection of cocktails compared to other places we have been, they have Pepsi max but need to specifically ask for it and make sure they dont pour normal Pepsi if like one of us you needed a sugar free drink. Coffee was not to our liking very bitter. Pools were amazing as was the slides, all working and lifeguards at the top and bottom. Bit of a wait for the rings to go down but there are slides that dont require them. Little slides for smaller kids is great too. They are open till 8pm which is ace only supervised till 6pm. Staff is hit and miss, some are truly amazing, we found most of the issues the bar staff. They can be inattentive and definitely favour anyone but the English. The females where a lot better, we found if we needed any assistance find a female member of staff. The pool staff who were entertainment were amazing, few guys who were very funny and kept the atmosphere positive. Gift shop over priced really but expected that, staff was lovely and helped where they could. Sunbeds are both in the sun, in the shade, next to pools, away from pools so its nice to have options. When its busy its hard to find them, people will reserve them all day and not actually use them which is annoying. There are cats on the property and kittens! Which was adorable. There are also peacocks and geese running around loads of tiny birds it was lovely. So much wildlife and trees was a great atmosphere. The snack bars are mainly pastry, yoghurt and fruit no meats or anything much to my sons disappointment he doesn't have much of a sweet tooth. The atmosphere itself is lovely here. Reading so many bad reviews I was gutted and dreading coming here, was too late to cancel other wise I would have done but luckily we had a great time. We didn't leave the hotel as we didn't feel confident to, we didnt need to really had everything here we needed. The hotel is great for all ages and from what we can see accessible for all. Bees... they are everywhere there are drinks. Anything sugary they are interested in but they dont sting.. well we had them on us and our drinks at one point and they can be annoying but we had no injuries from them. Keep drinks covered and eat inside and you will be fine, was too hot to eat outside anyway. I had a bee sat on my had for a while and then he just flew off no harm done. Entertainment was good, saw a few cool acts. All of what's happening is up on the wall outside reception. Holidays are what you make them and we had a great time.

This place is amazing. Not sure where all the bad reviews come from . If you want a 5 star hotel go and pay for one. Club medina is excellent . Peak food times are manic , don’t go for dinner at 7.30 when the restaurant opens . Go at 8.30 instead . The staff are really good and if it appears they favour the French that’ll be because they speak French . You want a meaningful chat with the staff learn French . Marrakesh itself isn’t for me but if you love chaos and shiny market stuff then you’ll love it. . The shuttle bus to town is cheap and perfectly adequate . Foods fantastic, sun is always out we would happily return .
