The welcome upon arrival was not great. We expected some assistance with our luggage to the room, but we had to carry everything ourselves. That said, the receptionist was very kind and helpful. She was always willing to assist us, and her attitude was truly appreciated. It should have been clearly communicated during the booking process that the aquapark was closed. This was not mentioned at all, which was disappointing. Please note that the all-inclusive package does not include the spa or hammam; these services come at an additional cost, which guests should be aware of in advance. We also noticed that there are not enough shuttle services during the day to go to Marrakech. The only available times were 10:30 or 14:15, which is quite limiting for guests. Room cleaning was very good, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job. I would rate this property as a 3-star hotel, no more

Just arrived back after having a holiday at this resort overall it was a positive holiday. All the staff were lovely and friendly. The food was lovely but a bit repetitive at times but it was still lovely. The desserts one of the best desserts we’ve ever had on holiday, they were beautiful. The only letdown of this place was that the main pool was closed Due to refurbishment and that’s what let the holiday down. But it looks like the resort is having a lot of work done and we would certainly come back to the hotel.

Where do i start. The whole experience was rather pleasant. AYMAN on reception was an absolute joy. Very proffessional and courteus. Was always available to assist me when required. The waiters/waitressess were very attentive and gave great service. Yes the food at times was cold but not as bad as what others have made out. The rooms were nice and spacious but the overpowering smell of sewage was extremely unpleasant. We had to use incense sticks on a daily. Housekeeping were very attentive. This hotel is out in the sticks but only a 25 min drive to the city which for around £10 was so good. Reception always on hand to call a taxi when needed. Otherwise it was 40 dirhams returm per person via the shuttlebus. Points for the hotel to consider would be to integrate a more english approach to the entertainment and to definetly look in to the appalling smell from the bathroom. Also please look in to why the so called heated indoor pool was colder than the outdoor pools. Back on to a positive note, The maintenance that is ongoing did not disturb our stay at all which we appreciated. I would definetly revisit again. P.s i look forward to staying in the newly refurbished rooms next time around. They look like there going to be very upmarket !!!

Food is often cold, there are 2 microwaves nearby, however they should not be needed! Some staff are ok but management are lazy and unresponsive. There’s a definite preference for French speaking guests. English speaking guests are not really catered for. Entertainment is dire! See video for example! - unless you understand French then it’s unlikely you can easily be involved. The resort is 30 minute drive from Marrakesh and there’s nothing much in between so it’s isolated. There are shuttle busses but you have to pay. We had bad experiences with both the cash machine (empty) and bureau de change (he disappeared for 30 minutes and came back only to say he was now closed). We tried to complain but management were simply evasive and it wouldn’t change the negative culture anyway. Some bar staff are ok however sometimes it’s hard to get served, they ran out of glasses at 9pm one night. Breakfast starts at 7.30 - we were there at 7.45 to find the coffee machines and surrounding areas in a bad state from the night before, so no apparent cleaning system in place. One machine had no coffee and the other no milk. Worst resort I’ve been to, and I used to entertain at Pontins! Don’t stay here if you’re not French.

After reading reviews before hand myself, I thought id write my own hopefully it will be useful. First off, we really recommend choosing your seats, easy jet leg room is restricted, if you can pay extra for some room. Seats 16, 17 and 18 are usually over the wings so no view if that's your thing. Private transfers are usually worth it unless you want to travel to different hotels first. Little extras make the whole experience slightly more enjoyable. We stayed new years eve for a week, December/early January weather was pleasant during the day, swim shorts in the sun but very cold at night, fleece and jumpers were very welcome. There is heating in the room. The staff are riendly staff are polite and attending all needs (except decaf tea and milk alternatives but, its morroco make do eith what you can!) The airport is scarier than England, be prepared to see guns! And if you smoke tobbacco, this is your last chance to buy rolling tobacco as it is NOWHERE else in morroco that we could find! Tailored made cigarettes are plentiful and easy to find about £5 a pack. Vapes are pricey. Say 'Sa lamb' as hello and 'Shoe Kran' as thank you they will be very greatful and it shows respect 🙏 I tipped one bar lady on my first night and she made sure I was looked after the rest of my stay It is remote. But we looked on a map and chose this on purpose, it feels safe like an oasis. Cctv every where, not like some hotels ive stayed in before where you dont know who can walk in etc. There are regular buses to and from to marrakech at around £3.50 each, we discovered uber is a thing out here too, but we waved down a taxi and he was so lovely. Very fairly priced, about 8 quid for a 30 min journey. We had to use the on site doctor that comes at a charge but they were all lovely and couldn't do enough. So caring and kind. I loved the food, as a veggie theres lots of vegetable options. For some reason theres turkey in the vegetarian section so be careful. There are sparrows and peacocks and cats. I saw some reviews moaning about this but as a nature lover I thought they were delightful. Its near Africa, don't expect everything to be animal free! Go to the poolside little snack bar for drinks during the day theres less of a queue. You can also get chips to order here which are nice. This is chargeable after 10pm. Unlike other all inclusives, there is limited food between designated breakfast lunch and dinner which i found a bit of a bummer. Tip for ladies, if you need to use the pool side loo, the light goes out within a few seconds so u have to wave ur arms around whilst u pee! Which is funny but seems mad The hammam Massage is 450 (just under 40 quid, may seem expensive but cheaper than in England and absolutely wonderful. The wines are great, I like a white wine and got my monies worth for all inclusive. My partner says the beer was nice, on tap its light beer. In bottles around 4 or 5% I must admit I was sad to see thr cost of a sauna, I usually only do 6 or 7 mins, you have to pay 100 Durham (about 8 quid ) for half hour which I wouldn't have done. And an extra 8 quid to use the in door pool for an hour. Seems mighty pricey. Yes there are broken tiles, and things do look dated, and the people predominantly speak french, but its morroco! Just enjoy the country and the culture. Some staff speak English, but try to learn the basics of their language before you go. We booked a desert buggy ride, it cost 20 quid and includes dinner. We really enjoyed it but there was alot of waiting around so be prepared. Still a bargain at 20 pp. Going home there are power points to charge your phones etc at the airport if youre lucky to get a seat, which were plentiful in January. A fab holiday for the price, I'd go again!
