Very conveniently located a few steps away from Canal Street subway station, it really made our travels across city so much quicker. Our room was clean, spacious enough for 2 people and kitted with all we needed for a short stay. The only small complaint was about there only being one (slow) elevator in operation. We loved the neighborhood (e.g. a lovely independent bakery round the corner, a few great restaurants) and the fact that a lot of other great neighbourhoods are walking distance from the hotel. Overall we had a very positive experience and would happily come back!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. During my stay, a significant amount of cash was stolen from my room, which left me feeling shocked and, most importantly, unsafe. No guest should have to worry about the security of their belongings while staying at a hotel. What has made the experience even more upsetting is the lack of communication and support following the incident. Since reporting the theft, I have received little to no updates or reassurance, despite the seriousness of the matter. I have had to chase for information myself, and I still feel as though my concerns have not been treated with the urgency or care they deserve. Unfortunately, my interactions with the reception staff only added to my disappointment. I found several members of the reception team to be rude, dismissive, and lacking empathy when I was trying to seek assistance after such a distressing incident. At a time when I was feeling vulnerable, I expected professionalism and compassion, but instead I was made to feel like my concerns were an inconvenience. When incidents like this occur, guests expect transparency, regular communication, and a genuine effort to investigate and support those affected. Sadly, that has not been my experience. I hope the hotel reviews both its security procedures and its approach to customer service, as no guest should be left feeling unsafe, unsupported, or dismissed after reporting a serious incident.

We stayed at this hotel for the NY Knicks parade and had an excellent experience from start to finish. We arrived a day before the parade and stayed through the event, and the staff was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and professional throughout our visit. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, making it a great base for exploring Tribeca / SOHO and City Hall. One thing that really stood out was the level of service, the team even offered to securely store our belongings while we attended the parade, which made the day much more enjoyable and stress-free. The location, service, and overall hospitality exceeded our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York City.

Our weekend trip to New York was an absolute blast, and I can’t wait to share our amazing experience with you. We went for my father’s birthday, and the staff at this hotel was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Even though we arrived early, they were more than happy to store our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. The hotel is conveniently located just a stone’s throw away from Canal Street Train Station, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms were spotless, and the staff was always attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay in New York City. Accommodations are adequate, not luxury - but the bed and linens were very comfortable. Room-darkening curtains would be a bonus here, as would a room safe, but for a stay where you’re not in the room much, the amenities are fine. The differentiator is the service - all staff were very helpful and friendly, and went the extra mile to bail me out of a tricky situation where I left my wallet in the room. They acted quickly to get it packaged up for a FedEx pickup, and even noticed I had dropped one of my cards out of the wallet and made sure it was included in the shipment. I’m grateful I was able to get it at home before heading out on another trip. It was perhaps just another day in the life of working in a busy NYC hotel, but I really appreciated their efforts.
