Absolutely appreciate the kind and lovely staff here. Special thanks and shout out to Ruben who was amazingly patient and kind with my requests. I have lived in hotels in NYC for 6 years now and this one I would easily repeat. The double blinds completely blacked out the room and I was able to sleep in, not aware of what time it was. Love that. The bed was so comfy. Room was so nice and clean top to bottom. And the view, never better. I shopped for a good price and this weekend was a steal to top it off! Also honorable mention to the lovely Rovina. Thank you all staff at Holiday Inn Chelsea for amazing service and quality digs.

I chose this hotel for its great location and price. The room was clean amd as described, though a bit small for two beds --better suited if you're out most of the day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and when I reported heater not working properly, they offered to move me in another room. Overall, a good experience with great value. I would definetly stay there again and recommend it .

I stayed at Holiday Inn for a week and it was fantastic. The staff were great, my stay was comfortable, and I truly recommend this hotel. The only downside is the security deposit of $150. They state that it will be refunded within 7–10 working days if there is no damage to the room. I checked out on January 7th and left the room completely clean, neat, and without any damage, yet I still have not received my deposit back. I think this is something future guests should be aware of when booking. Aside from the deposit issue, I did find this hotel to be very pleasant and clean, and I enjoyed my stay overall.

We had an absolute delight staying at this property for a long weekend with our daughter. The entire staff was super friendly, the facility was ideally located and well kept, and the property was located pretty close to multiple subway stops which made it very convenient. Overall, I posted a picture of our favorite staff member who went above and beyond to make sure that our stay was special and memorable. She was always smiling and was happy to provide information whatever we needed it. These are rare but valuable traits to have with somebody that deals with customers all day long. Overall, I travel a lot so I recognize quality and we had a great experience at this property! Pro tip: this property does not tolerate cannabis use which is a great benefit for a family friendly property. That sign was very appreciated as many properties do not enforce this and I would not stay in them again. Well done overall!

Trip was taken totally on impulse to use expiring travel credits with Southwest. I couldn't afford THE Hotel Chelsea so I booked the IHG 6th Avenue Chelsea Holiday Inn off the Southwest Hotels website. The accommodations were as advertised at what I consider a reasonable rate for NYC. Notably my trip coincided with the heavy snow in the region starting Saturday evening 2/21 and delaying my departure until Tuesday 2/24. Shoutout to the ever present Jandery M. at the front desk who was pleasant and supportive for my entire stay and even slept over in the Inn due to the bad weather to care for her guests. She should receive a large increase in pay at her next performance review!
