⭐ 0/5 – Extremely Disappointing Experience We stayed at this property for a very meaningful family trip and relied on confirmations provided by IHG before our stay. Unfortunately, after check-in, the property did not honor what we understood had been confirmed, resulting in unexpected additional expenses and significant stress during what was supposed to be a special family trip. IHG Corporate later acknowledged the issue and confirmed that reimbursement would be provided. However, even after I shared IHG’s written confirmation with the property and asked them to cooperate and coordinate with IHG, the hotel remained unhelpful and non-cooperative. I also reached out directly to the hotel manager,Clearly explaining the situation and requesting assistance. Unfortunately, even after multiple emails and continuous follow-ups, I received no response and saw no meaningful effort from management to help resolve the matter. There were also basic room-maintenance issues — the locker/safe and toilet were not working , adding further inconvenience to our stay. What disappointed me most was the overall lack of empathy, communication, accountability, and willingness to help from both the staff and management. Instead of being able to enjoy a meaningful trip with my family, we were left dealing with unnecessary stress and frustration. I appreciate that IHG Corporate acknowledged my concerns, and I have now formally escalated my experience with this property to IHG senior leadership. For a property carrying the Holiday Inn/IHG name, I expected much better hospitality, room maintenance, accountability, and guest care. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend this property. Never stay here!!!

Bed was broken and unfortunately they were out of rooms. They sent maintenance up to drill the frame back together(Thank you Nick!!), and offered to comp breakfast AND gave us priority on a new room in the morning!(Thank you again Nick!) Prices were pretty good for the location, and there was tons of shopping and many restaurants in the area. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were surprisingly quiet. Could hardly hear the traffic! Would definitely stay here again!

Very happy with our 1 night stay in Manhattan. It's a great location, within easy walking distance to the Amtrak train station - about 1/2 mile. Also, lots of nearby restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was small, clean and had a small coffee maker. We will definitely consider staying here again. We arrived at JFK airport on a Friday afternoon and took a car service to the hotel. It took over an hour to get to the hotel during rush hour.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Manhattan 6th Ave last fall, and I apologize for taking so long to write this, but I absolutely had to leave a review to praise this property and specifically Rovina at the front desk. I was in New York to propose to my woman and Rovina went completely out of her way to make our trip unforgettable. She ensured we were placed in a very clean room with an absolutely amazing window view of the Empire State Building. To top it off, she made our first night after the engagement extra special by having champagne and flowers sent up to the room, accompanied by a handwritten card. Throughout our entire stay, Rovina was super personable, always happy, and went above and beyond to make sure every aspect of our hotel stay and overall New York experience was perfect. All the other staff members were amazing as well, but Rovina is undoubtedly the best attribute of this hotel. I truly hope Holiday Inn is compensating her well for the incredible value she brings to the guest experience! Overall, it was an amazing trip, and we will definitely be booking here again whenever we come back to New York.

This hotel’s pros and cons are very extreme. I was going to give this hotel 3 stars, but I decided to give it 4 stars because of the excellent front desk staff. Pros: Front desk employee Jennifer did an excellent job during our check-in, even with the long and chaotic line. She never lost her smile and truly made us feel welcome in New York. Another employee, Amalia, was also amazing. I saw her almost every night, and whenever we needed something, she was always there to help. This hotel really has great staff. Cons: I understand this is a Holiday Inn Express in New York, where space is limited, but whoever designed these rooms really failed. The space between the bed and the desk chair is so narrow that barely one person can pass through. The water pressure is horrible. I’ve never experienced such weak water pressure before. The breakfast quality is also very poor.
