Ideally located just a short walk from Times Square, close enough to enjoy the energy, yet far enough to escape the constant crowds, Martinique on Broadway proved to be an exceptional choice for my recent stay. Despite the building currently undergoing external renovations, the hotel’s charm, history, and interior presentation remain unmistakable. The façade may be covered for now, but the service more than compensates. Midway through my stay, I requested a room change from a junior suite to a room with two doubles. The transition was handled with complete professionalism and zero hesitation, a seamless process that immediately reinforced my confidence in the team. 🌟 Service Excellence: Kat & Team The standout of my entire experience was the service, specifically Kat and the wider team. I don’t write this lightly: they were outstanding. I was initially caught up in the UK air traffic control disruption, leaving my arrival date uncertain. Kat managed the situation flawlessly. She moved my reservation, reassured me throughout, and ensured that no matter when I arrived, a room would be waiting. That level of care is rare, and it made a genuine difference. During my stay, the head of the hotel personally came to shake my hand, welcomed me by name, and was fully aware of the circumstances surrounding my travel delay. That level of attentiveness is not something you can train, it’s culture, and its leadership. 💬 THIS Is Customer Service THIS is how hospitality should be delivered. THIS is what earns loyalty. THIS is what brings guests back. The hotel could have looked like anything, but when customers are treated with this level of respect, empathy, and professionalism, the experience becomes memorable for all the right reasons. 🧼 Housekeeping: Truly Exceptional I’ve travelled extensively, and I must say: the housekeeping team deserves special recognition. Their attention to detail was remarkable, the kind of thoughtful touches that almost left me embarrassed by how much care they put into the room. It was world‑class. 🔁 I Will Be Back Kat and the entire service team delivered an experience that was excellent from start to finish. Renovations are temporary, great hospitality is not. I look forward to returning once the façade restoration is complete. Also ideally located to the subway network, we managed to get everywhere by subway, we never used a cab or uber once.

I had such an amazing stay at Hilton Martinique New York! Caroline and Hirenia truly went above and beyond to make my birthday extra special. Not only did they surprise me with a room upgrade, but they also helped send my parcel at the hotel’s expense, which was such a thoughtful gesture and incredibly appreciated. From check-in to check-out, the hospitality was warm, professional, and genuinely caring. Little touches like these make all the difference and turned my trip into such a memorable experience. A huge thank you again to Caroline and Hirenia for their kindness and exceptional service — you made our stay unforgettable! I’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting NYC.

Booked our room at the Martinique as part of a Costco vacation package. My wishlist included 1) close to Madison Square Garden 2) easy access to a subway and 3) a room that would fit 3 women and all our luggage. The Martinique met or exceeded all these expectations. Our flight put us into the city early. We walked in the doors of the hotel around 9:45am just hoping to have them hold our bags for us until check in. But luckily our room was already ready, and for a reasonable fee we were able to check-in early. Soon after check-in a staff member brought up a little gift bag with macaroon's from the sweet shop, and hand written card for my birthday! The room itself was a fine size by NYC standards, everything was clean, the beds were comfortable, we requested extra pillows and got them quickly. The AC was STRONG - like almost too strong. I was also shocked at now quiet it was, though I'm sure being on the 11th floor helped with that. The closest subway stop (yellow and orange lines) is literally 20ft from the front door of the hotel. It was SO NICE having that stop right there and allowed us to zip around easily and saved our feet quite a few steps. The neighborhood was great with lots of little shops and restaurants to explore. Chelsea, NoMad and Koreatown all had cool stuff going on. I've stayed at trendier - more upscale hotels in Manhattan, but the Martinique might be my new favorite.

We needed a central location to see as many sites as possible in a four day trip. This hotel was perfect t for our trip. Price was great, and quiet, spacious room. Everyone greeted us every time we came and went. Jose C. Got us lined up with a great ride to the airport and fixed the price and time for us perfectly. Mario T. Took the reins to hold our bags to enjoy a show on broadway after we checked out of our room. Great group of folks working this hotel.

My family and I booked a trip to New York for my birthday and spent a lot of time researching hotels in the city. After comparing several options, we chose the Martinique based on its location and strong reviews — and I’m so glad we did. This was my parents’ first time visiting New York, and the staff truly made it special for them. Although we had a small hiccup with one front desk agent when trying to drop off our luggage before check‑in, every other interaction more than made up for it. Mario and Roberto greeted us warmly each morning and made sure we knew exactly how to get wherever we were headed. Candance and Chris were wonderful to talk to and shared great tips on things to do and see. Jose and Al were always ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious — a rarity in Manhattan! After long days of walking, we were grateful to come back to modern, updated rooms that felt relaxing and well cared for. We also enjoyed brunch at the Carnegie Diner, complete with bottomless mimosas, which made the experience even better. Overall, the Martinique helped make my birthday trip memorable, and I’m thankful for the staff who made my parents’ first New York visit so special. We would absolutely stay here again.
