I chose this hotel and paid more because it shows that it has a restaurant. The restaurant is only open from 7am to 11am. I feel like the photos on the website are very misleading. Had I know I would have stayed somewhere else. I sent an email to the GM and never heard back. The location of the hotel is excellent, one staff member was friendly, the others were not. Only one elevator was working so I ended up using the stares a few times but I was on the 6th floor so I also had to wait for a while when I didn't take the stairs. Our refrigerator had a leak on day 2 and fortunately someone did come to fix that right away. This review would have been a two star but they did allow us to have a late checkout and held our things for a couple hours after we checked out. I appreciated that. It would have been a 5 star if the restaurant was actually open at least until 10pm and the second elevator was working. I don't mind that the staff wasn't that friendly. You should definitely disclose that the restaurant is not open for lunch or dinner on your website. That would be a nice thing to do.

I stayed at this hotel for two nights during a business trip. Overall I found the hotel to be dated and in need of renovation and minor repairs. The handle to my tub faucet was broken and needed to be repaired. The front desk staff were pleasant and made some some good recommendations for local restaurants and stores. I did find the restaurant hostess somewhat distracted and more interested in her phone than providing quality service. It would be nice if the rooms had an extra blanket in the closet and coffee was made available in the lobby during the day outside of breakfast hours.

The restaurant is no longer open and does not state this on the Hilton website. Also if you plan to self park it's $55 for a car $65 for an SUV and the garage is a 10 minute walk. You can Valet but it is another $20-40. The room was nice as was the rest of the hotel. Good location for what I had planned.

Room was great - very large for NYC standards. Staff was welcoming. Hotel is clean and in a great location. But only having a single very slow elevator is a deal killer here. Will not stay again because of the terrible elevator situation. Looking back at previous reviews, this seems to be a theme here. I have no idea why they can’t put money into the single biggest complaint that guests have about this property. And it’s ONLY six floors. Why is it so hard to have working elevators? Upgrade the elevators and I’d consider staying more often because this property is a gem except for the elevator.

our stay at most was decent, every other concierge helped us besides a woman who did the bare minimum who worked the night shift. We arrived on a business trip. She refused to give us the room we reserved and refused to run the company card. Allowed us to stay but in a terrible room. Bacon wasn’t cooked. They treated us differently bc I guess we looked “poorer” if that’s a thing people do in New York. You can tell by the way the other occupants of the hotel stare at us. Yet they only have one elevator working. Treat us all with the same level of respect and courtesy that we give to you. Thank you for the most mediocre mildly comfortable experience I’ve ever had.
