We honestly couldn’t fault this hotel and we’ve stayed in many. The attention to detail in the design is flawless and we appreciated how the neighbourhood story is represented and reflected beautifully throughout. The attention to detail in everything they provide is exceptional. We loved it so much we extended our stay. Our room was just out of this world! Big spacious and comfortable bed with 5* amenities and heated (27c) salt infinity pool. Uninterrupted and breathtaking views across the mountain range with soaring falcons and the most incredible sunsets on the terrace. We lost count of the number of “wows” we uttered. I have to say that the very best part of this incredible hotel, without doubt, are the staff. Without exception each and every member we encountered were so delightful and a credit to this hotel. We would like to personally thank Ranjith, Nazir, Ibrahim, Denver, Vinayak, Mohammed, Chris and Ashish the chef, responsible for the most wonderful food. They were all amazing. A very special mention goes to Mitchell who went out of her way to make sure our every need was catered for. Thank you all so much! We will definitely be back.

Fantastic experience! My fiancé and I were here celebrating his milestone birthday and Milly from the reservations team took such good care of our special requests and made this stay an unforgettable one — thank you! Rooms were incredible, views were stunning and food is amazing. A special shout-out to Vikram from the rooftop restaurant VUE who took such good care of us during our stay here and made our trip even more enjoyable :) We are definitely looking forward to our next trip back!

This is a great new hotel high up in the mountains. The only downside was we were only booked in for 1 night. The breakfast and dinner that we had in the buffet style restaurant was 1st class. Very attractive waiters ( for your wine and water ) Yes you can buy alcohol here. The rooms were a great size, try to get one overlooking the pool and down the valley, the front facing rooms aren't bad but the view out of the rear rooms is fabulous. There is a roof top bar which sometimes has a very cool DJ. You can also buy alcohol up here. It's a long drive up a very steep road to the hotel and surrounding properties. There is a police check point at the bottom of the road so make certain you have all your paperwork ready. The road is new and the old cart track long gone. The pool area is fabulous again offering great views of the valley and mountains. We loved this place , ( which is unusual for a new hotel ,) All of the staff were friendly and very helpful. We thoroughly recommend it.

AMAZING! I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Stayed in chalet room 105 which had a spectacular balcony view, perfect for watching sunsets/sunrise. Special shout out to Nasser who was so helpful. My friend’s luggage was delayed and finally arrived into the Muscat airport 3 days into our trip. He not only called to confirm that the bag was there, but arranged to have a driver pick it up at the airport and deliver it to the hotel at no cost. That alone made our experience so much better! All the staff at the hotel and spa were spectacular. My masseuse Desi was so gracious and I thoroughly enjoyed my massage. We loved the spa experience. Cocktails and food at the rooftop Vue bar and restaurant were great. The breakfast buffet was delicious with tons of choices. We LOVED this hotel and found it to be a highlight of our trip. Easily one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had.

Very disappointing experience. We paid over $360 for what was honestly the worst view I’ve had in 40+ countries for hotels in this price range. The room sold as a mountain (or city view?) actually overlooks a car park and an extended balcony (roof of their entrance gate) that cannot be used. It seems the hotel tried to improve the view with artificial grass and rocks, but it doesn’t help. When we asked about changing rooms, staff told us this was the best view within our room category and that the hotel was fully booked. This was around 2 pm, so it was hard to believe no other rooms were available, but our request was declined. The opposite side of the hotel faces construction, which is even less appealing, so the widely advertised sunset views are not as impressive as expected. From what we observed, only the canyon-view rooms seem to offer a truly scenic outlook, I recommend booking that category if you plan to stay here. The pool area also lacks views, as it is on the ground floor mostly blocked by umbrellas. On the positive side, the room itself was comfortable and nicely designed, and the breakfast was good. However, these positives did not justify the price we paid. We had an amazing trip throughout Oman, and this was our only disappointment. I would recommend visiting the area as a day trip from Nizwa, where there are better-value accommodation options nearby. It’s incredibly easy to do this as a day trip as you’ll need to drive same way back anyways. If you must stay here, then either book an affordable stay or another hotel offering better views.
