I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Centric Wall Street, and I want to sincerely thank the entire team for making my stay exceptional. A special thank you to the manager, Ommey and to Laszlo, whose professionalism and hospitality truly stood out. The entire staff exceeded every expectation, from the moment I walked through the doors until the day I checked out. Everyone greeted me with a smile, made sure all my requests were taken care of, and accommodated both an early check-in and a late check-out, which made my trip even more enjoyable. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, and it made my stay feel even more special. I want to recognize my housekeeper as well. I don’t know her name, but she was an Asian woman who did an outstanding job every day. The room was immaculate, and she paid incredible attention to detail. She always made sure the bathroom was fully stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and all the extra towels and pillows I had requested. It truly felt like a home away from home. Parking is conveniently located adjacent to the hotel and is offered at a discounted rate for guests. While there are no in-and-out privileges, the discounted parking is still a great benefit. The location is fantastic. There’s a Walgreens directly across the street for drinks and snacks, a 24-hour bodega just down the block, and you’re within walking distance of Wall Street, Trinity Church, the 9/11 Memorial, and many other Lower Manhattan attractions. Thank you again to everyone at Hyatt Centric Wall Street for making my visit so memorable. I look forward to staying with you again the next time I’m in New York City. Highly recommended!

Overall, I had a great stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The experience was comfortable and enjoyable, and the staff were welcoming and helpful throughout my visit. The only things I would suggest improving are adding room service and providing a booklet or guide in the room with information about the hotel’s amenities and where everything is located. That would have made the stay even more convenient. Other than that, everything was really good and I would happily stay here again.

I stayed at Hyatt Centric Wall Street NYC on March 27 with my two kids, and we had such a great experience. The highlight of our stay was definitely the staff. Aron at the breakfast buffet truly went above and beyond for me and my kids. He was kind, attentive, and treated us with so much respect. It really made a difference. At the front desk, Raymond, Semir, and Dayle were all warm, professional, and helpful throughout our stay. They left a lasting positive impression. The room itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully designed, which made our stay even more comfortable. While the breakfast buffet didn’t have a huge selection, there was enough variety for us to make it work, and the service more than made up for it. I also wished the hotel bad a pool! 😢 Overall, we had a memorable stay and would absolutely come back. Keep up the great work!

The room is larger than average in New York City standard but the room amenities are underwhelming, the room feels more like a budget hotel instead of a Hyatt Centric. It offers two bottles of water and two paper cups and that’s it, even coffee machines are not in the room. Service largely varies by staff members without consistency, some staff members are warm and welcoming, while some are like government employees with little hospitality.

Let’s start with positives: spacious room and bathroom, especially for NY city. The location was decent too. Now for the cons: the street noise leaks into the room, and you can hear every honking, siren, etc. The restaurant food was very subpar. The gym was under construction, so you had to go to the next door property to use their gym. My wife called in for extra towels, which took about an hour to be delivered. It was delivered by the front desk lady, Mildred, who was very grumpy when delivering the towels (this was our one and only request during our stay, other than the AC repair issue as discussed further below). The worst part of the stay, however, was the air condition system. It didn’t work, so our room felt like a sauna. We notified the front desk and they sent an “engineer”. The engineer told us right away that it was an old and outdated system and there was nothing he could do other than open the window for us. Keep in mind, we were on the 12th floor during the middle of winter. We had no choice but to keep the window open compared to the alternative of overheating in our room. With the window open, the noise was also even worse. Bottom line: for the price, the only value you receive is the size of the room. Everything else is severely lacking.
