Eh Chiau Eh Mai
Our family of 41 came together to celebrate my cousin brother Vithawat Teng and Chalida’s beautiful garden wedding at Lone Pine, Batu Feringgi on 27th February. It was a truly wonderful and unforgettable evening filled with love and laughter. The entire event was absolutely amazing — from the beautiful setup and breathtaking garden view to the delicious food and exceptional service by the staff. The garden setting was stunning, overlooking the beach and sunset, creating a truly spectacular and unforgettable atmosphere. Special thanks to Mr. Taufiq, the Sales Manager, who handled the event from beginning to end. He was attentive, professional, and courteous throughout the entire process. His dedication and commitment truly made a difference. Thank you as well to the Banquet Manager (apologies for not recalling his name) and the banquet team. They were incredibly dedicated, well-coordinated, and ensured everything ran smoothly. I was also pleasantly surprised when Mr. Taufiq invited my family and me to enjoy complimentary breakfast the following morning. We truly enjoyed the experience, especially having breakfast at the bungalow — it was a lovely and memorable touch. Thank you once again for your kindness and outstanding hospitality. It was truly a beautiful celebration.

It's one of the calmer and more scenic properties in Batu ferringhi. The lone pine resort has a great location and well planned property. It's really relaxing compared to the chains and the European inspired architecture is refreshing as well. Great pools, scenic views and laid back vibes are great here. The service needs to really step up to make this a 5 star property as it claims, felt at many occasions the staff was just average, we had stayed at quiet a few properties in Penang and had come across most of the non responsive staff here. Perhaps it's the laid back culture. There are standout staff at the beach side bar and the valet who were truly helpful and stood out from the rest. Also the rooms are way too boutique to claim the 5 star tag and the food served is average as well across. But if you are looking past these highlights lone pine is worth recommending and a few days stay.

I really enjoyed my stay here. We were warmly welcomed by both the manager and the staff — everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room felt like stepping into a mix of rustic and modern style, which I loved. The only downside was our downstairs neighbour — some kind of influencer, I think — who decided to have a loud outdoor “session” at 7 AM. Not exactly what you hope for on holiday, and it did wake us up. It seemed we weren’t the only ones; even the manager mentioned receiving several complaints about it. It was a bit windy during our stay, but that might just be the season. Otherwise, the location was perfect — the shopping street and food court are just around the corner, and everything is within walking distance. The breakfast was good, and the hotel restaurant served nice food as well. The beach, jet ski rentals and more are right there, and the pool area is absolutely lovely — perfect for calm, adult relaxation. All in all, a really nice stay. Would definitely recommend. And please try the freshly pressed apple juice — it’s amazing.

Lone Pine Resort Penang is one of those places that delivers an experience as much as a stay. Set against a backdrop of swaying palms and that gentle Andaman Sea breeze, the ambience leans into “idyllic” without ever feeling staged. Whether you’re waking up to birdsong among the tropical greenery or catching sunset hues off the horizon, the whole property feels like a calm exhale — a reminder that sometimes the most memorable parts of travel are the quiet ones between meals and temples and beaches. What elevates it from just a pretty place is the service. From the moment you walk in, the team strikes a rare balance of professionalism and genuine warmth: they remember names, anticipate needs, and follow through without being overbearing. It’s the kind of customer care that lets you relax without wondering if something’s been overlooked. Combined with the scenic setting, Lone Pine manages that sweet spot where the environment soothes and the service makes you feel genuinely welcomed.

We had a wonderful family staycation at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable—perfect for a family to relax together. The facilities were excellent , plenty for everyone to enjoy without even leaving the hotel. Breakfast was delicious with a good variety, and the overall atmosphere was calm, peaceful and family-friendly. This staycation gave us the perfect break to unwind, spend quality time together, and make great memories. We truly appreciated the attention to detail and thoughtful service. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway! Haryany Mohamad
