Arrived and completely unsuitable room for 3 adults and teensger. Was middle of night and thankfully the only one to hejp was security Ufuk. He was amazing and helped to get a room suitable for us as a family my mother disabled. My daughter who’s autistic felt safe with him. I had requested a suitable room several months earlier on email to reception. The waterslide bar shut whilst there leaving a long dangerous walk to even get water. Up steps and over slippery floor, The children’s buffet get shut leaving no plane food option for children at lunch or dinner. My autistic child ate rice everyday

We are currently staying at this hotel, and unfortunately, our experience has been disappointing. The hotel is advertised as Ultra All Inclusive, but the service does not match that standard. Housekeeping is extremely unreliable. Even when we hang the “Please clean the room” sign on the door, nobody comes. Fresh towels and bottled water are often not replenished, and we have to look for staff ourselves. The biggest issue, however, is the noise. Loud music starts in the morning and continues until around 11:00 PM or even later every single day. It is impossible to relax in the room before late evening. If you are traveling with children or simply expect a peaceful vacation, this hotel is not a good choice. The beach and the surrounding nature are beautiful, but they do not make up for the poor service and constant noise. We chose this hotel expecting a relaxing Ultra All Inclusive holiday. Sadly, it has been far from that.

The Lykia Botanika Beach & Fun Club is, without question, the worst hotel my family and I have ever stayed in. We stayed for 10 nights out of a planned 14 and experienced a list of issues that included general disrepair across the hotel site and serious concerns about food hygiene and cleanliness. We stayed here in early August 2026. We are a family of 5 including 3 children and 2 adults from the UK. Rooms We had 3 separate rooms during our stay. Our first room was a top floor room with a balcony that could only be accessed through what can only be described as a large window and would barely serve as a fire escape, let alone a balcony. The outdoor space was only large enough for 2 cheap plastic chairs with views onto various walls, other apartments and our air-conditioning unit which was surrounded by loose cables and wires. Following a request to relocate, our 2nd room had a broken lock on the front door which was held to the door itself with just 2 screws. On two occasions, after returning to our room, we were greeted by cockroaches — one in the bathroom and another crawling over the bed. The “balcony’ was more of a terrace and although useable, it was next to a very busy part of the hotel which often smelt of drains. After requesting another room change, our third room was the best in terms of location with a proper balcony, overlooking the gardens but was the dirtiest of them all. Despite my wife spending more than two hours cleaning it and £20 on cleaning products, the bathroom constantly smelt of urine and general dampness. If you need a spare bed in your room, you're provided with a fold out bed - hardly suitable for a 2 week stay for anyone that weighs more than 5 stone. Food & Drinks Despite a fairly varied selection of food on offer at dinner, it all tastes bland. There is limited space to sit in the restaurant and everything feels dirty, from the tables and chairs to the cutlery, plates and glasses. The lunch menu at the snack bar consists of burgers, chips, "onion rings”, chicken nuggets and a selection of salad and is often covered with flies. Both my wife and I suffered what appeared to be food poisoning during our stay, which we believe was caused by food consumed at the hotel. The ice is served from a large plastic box which had clear signs of dirt and mould on it. Pool The floor around the pool was constantly covered in hair and the only cleaning was done by a small team who had brooms and would sweep the dirty water into the drains surrounding the pools. The construction of the wall inside the pool consisted of a design built using small square tiles - most had fallen off and, where they hadn't been replaced, the gaps were now covered in mould. There was also a constant smell around the pool that could only be described as 'swampy'. The music around the pool is very loud and often meant that it was too loud to have a conversation. Entertainment The evening entertainment included bingo, a magic show, Turkish dancing and a “Mr Election” and “Miss Election” night which involved taking members of the crowd onto the stage to perform a talent show. The entertainment didn’t start until 10. Staff The staff were OK. They spoke very little English though which made it hard to put our issues across. We were helped by the local rep, Jan (who worked for MTS - the hotel supplier to Love Holidays) who was fantastic. Summary We booked this hotel through Love Holidays and it is completely unfit for purpose. The combination of the food-hygiene concerns, cockroaches, mould, cleanliness problems and maintenance issues we encountered made us seriously concerned about the health and safety of our family Do not book this hotel on the basis that it will ‘be OK’. Based on our experience, the condition, cleanliness and hygiene standards were nowhere near what we would expect from a hotel being sold as a family holiday.

The animation team at this hotel were very friendly and great at getting people involved in activities. There were lots of activities on offer such as darts, beach volleyball, dancing etc. There was also a mini disco for the children in the evening as well as entertainment following on from this. The animation team were fantastic and made the stay enjoyable.

We stayed at Lykia Botanica Hotel two years ago and decided to come back this year. To be honest, before our trip we felt a bit worried because of the many negative reviews we had read recently. At one point, we were even afraid to come. But our intuition was right. In our opinion, this hotel still offers excellent value for money. It is very difficult to find such a good combination of price, nature, sea, and atmosphere nowadays. Of course, there are some shortcomings, as in any hotel, but the advantages far outweigh them. What we love most is the concept of the hotel. It feels like a cozy summer house by the sea rather than a typical resort. The surrounding nature is beautiful, with plenty of greenery, peace, and privacy. At the same time, everything you might need is close by. The sea is absolutely stunning - clean, beautiful. We were also happy to see that the food is still delicious. But the hotel's greatest asset is its people. The staff are genuinely kind, friendly, and always willing to help. We would especially like to thank Natalia from Guest Relations. She is responsive, thoughtful, tactful, and always ready to assist- a true fairy godmother who makes your stay even more comfortable. The SPA deserves special recognition. I was truly impressed. The SPA manager, Seut, is charming and professional. He offers excellent deals and very generous discounts, especially on treatment packages. We were also touched by the way our small daughter was treated at the SPA. She was surrounded with attention and kindness, received little gifts, and was made to feel very special. These small gestures create wonderful memories and make a real difference. I would also like to mention the massage therapists. I had one session with an Asian female therapist whose name I unfortunately do not remember. She was highly skilled and very professional. I then had five sessions with Ridvan, and all I can say is: he is a magician. Incredibly strong, intuitive, and deeply knowledgeable about the human body. He is a true professional, and after each session I felt completely renewed. To be honest, I usually consider hotel massages to be more of a pleasant extra than something truly worthwhile. However, this SPA completely changed my opinion. The massages here are not just relaxing-they are genuinely therapeutic and highly effective. Every session was worth it, and I never regretted a single minute or a single penny spent. Thank you to the entire Lykia Botanica Hotel team for another wonderful holiday. We are very happy we decided to return, and we leave with nothing but warm memories and gratitude.
