I was on vacation at this hotel in July 2025. The hotel is fantastic, very beautiful with great infrastructure, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would like to express my appreciation for the kitchen staff; the food during my stay was always delicious, with great variety, and was constantly being replenished; nothing was ever lacking. The evening entertainment was also wonderful. I definitely recommend it, and I will return again this year, but for a 14-day stay. Thank you for everything, and see you in July.

We returned from this hotel on Wednesday and it was absolutely stunning! Food was amazing and lots of options to choose from. Plenty of space around the infinity pool which the views were breathtaking. Staff were polite, friendly and could not do enough for you. The entertainment was brilliant! Loved the Arabian Dancers and the band. 100 % recommend this hotel. Our room was kept clean and bed freshly made every morning. Cannot fault anything and would definitely return.

We came here on honeymoon and absolutely loved it. The rooms are amazing, we had a lovely view of the sea. The infinity pool is great, shame it’s not heated, the swim up bar is great and the guys there are so attentive. The pool up by reception was also good, but the waterfalls weren’t on and the pool bar was never open while we were there. The beach was good but down a lot of stairs and because it’s stones and not sand you need crocs to go in the sea, which was warmer than the pools! The food was great, and was good it changed every night

We stayed at the Michelangelo Resort & Spa in Kos for 10 nights at the start of May, travelling as a couple. First off, the weather during this period was absolutely perfect — warm, sunny, and ideal for a relaxing break. The rooms were clean, modern, and up to a good standard. We had a lateral sea view room, which did offer a view of the sea, but it’s worth noting that ours was partially obstructed by a block of apartments — something I’d recommend clarifying with the hotel before booking if the view is important to you. Aside from that, the room size was comfortable for two people. One downside was the TV — it had Netflix and YouTube options, but they weren’t usable as the internet hadn’t been set up, which felt a bit pointless. Food-wise, it was better than some reviews suggest. There was a good variety overall, and while some themed nights were definitely better than others, we generally found enough to enjoy. A big positive was the chef, who was very accommodating and made a real effort to provide halal-friendly options for us, which we really appreciated. Service, however, was a bit inconsistent and at times confusing. One thing that stood out was that, despite being on half board, water at dinner came at an extra charge of nearly €10 per meal, and this wasn’t clearly communicated beforehand. It felt odd paying that much for something so basic. Interestingly, at breakfast — where drinks are included — service was slow and it was hard to get a waiter’s attention, whereas at dinner, staff were very quick to approach, mainly to take drink orders. The location is probably the biggest factor to consider. If you’re looking to explore Kos Town regularly, this hotel might not be the most convenient choice. It’s quite remote, and transport costs add up quickly — around €20 each way, so €40 per trip. With no Uber or easy alternatives, even heading out for meals or a change of scenery can feel like a bit of a task. That said, if your goal is to fully switch off and stay within the resort, the peaceful setting and stunning views are a big plus. The infinity pool is genuinely incredible — one of the highlights of the hotel. Just be prepared for the daily rush to secure a sunbed, as it can feel a bit like a competition at times. Evening entertainment wasn’t really to our taste. The music and live performances didn’t quite hit the mark, and we often found ourselves leaving or tuning it out. The bar experience was also hit and miss — drinks weren’t always what we expected and the overall vibe felt a bit more “Benidorm-style” than we’d hoped for. The on-site shop is quite limited and noticeably overpriced, so it’s worth bringing essentials with you where possible. Local bus doesn’t take card although by law it’s required for both options of payment . The spa is mind boggling , charge you 15 euros to use a cold pool and the staff within the establishment almost act as if they dont want you using the spa at all. Finally, I do want to give credit where it’s due — there were some standout staff members. The female general manager who assisted with transfers and bookings was incredibly helpful and professional, and the chef deserves recognition for his effort and quality of food. Overall, we had a good stay with some memorable positives, particularly the pool, views, and helpful staff. However, there are a few areas — especially around service clarity, location, and added costs — that could be improved to make the experience more seamless. One of those you have to visit but no rush to come back again ! Thank you

We had a look online at different 4 star and above hotels on the island and decided this one seemed great, slightly out the way and good reviews. It was great. We arrived and were welcomed by the friendly staff who explained the details to us and handed a welcome pack. There was a €15 per day tourist charge which we didn’t know about but that’s on us for not researching. We chose the all inclusive package and were given wristbands to signify it, we showed them at the bars and at mealtimes. They were made from ribbon so not irritating at all. We were taken to our room by golf caddy and Room had a fantastic view. The beds are very comfy, and showers came with handwash, shower gel and conditioner/ moisturiser that was Rituals brand, a nice touch! The layout is abit strange with the bathroom and shower but it works. Our room had coffee and tea facilities which are replenished each day. And a little fridge that we kept water in. They also have a safe, robes and slippers. I suffer from migraines and the aircon was a massive help, it wasn’t noisy and was easy to control, you can also set it on a timer. The staff at the hotel were fantastic. The cleaning ladies we had were very friendly and did a great job. The servers were very friendly at meal times and were always checking on us. There were a few times we noticed guests being rude and they were always professional and kind. We made sure to let them know they were doing a great job. One gentleman Tony was very good and taught us some Greek! We spent more time near the beach area but afternoons near the pool. On our first day there was a young man working on the pool bar who was shouting and talking badly to another bar staff which put me off as I don’t like confrontation. Despite the second man walking away the first kept following him having a go. Throughout the stay we didn’t see the aggressive man again and the man who was being shouted at was actually the best staff there!! Unfortunately he didn’t wear a name tag but he was great, he always approached us asking if we wanted drinks to save us going to the bar, he gave recommendations and was overall very friendly, he had braces and wore protection on his neck and I would guess he was of Asian heritage. I would definitely nominate him for some internal award. The meals were great as I personally like to be adventurous with mealtimes, they had a great selection of fresh food. I ate something different at lunch and evening meal every day of the 10 days we stayed. There were fish and meat options for every meal, and a good section of veggie options too. I actually enjoyed the veggie options more! They had traditional Greek food some nights which was great. There were always soup, main, sweets desert and fruit. They even had spaghetti and pizza each night for those fussy eaters/kids. There were two separate restaurants from the main dining area, one called Soya that served Asian food and another Michelangelo that served more seafood. Included in the all inclusive package we could dine at one once a week without extra charge, we chose the Soya restaurant and the food was nice to the same quality as the main dining. It was good to try switch it up but I wouldn’t say it was of different quality to the rest of the food if we needed to pay. The beach bar had one lady staffing it who was accompanied by a stray cat who was lovely, she would feed the cat and tell stories about him it made great conversation. She made a great cocktail too. Of a morning she would put a crate of frozen water bottles on the bar for people to help themselves and it was a lifesaver! There’s also an app the hotel has where you can book these extra restaurants and the gym or Spa. We used the gym a few times and it was fine, there isn’t a tonne of space so can lead to waiting around for the machine you need, there are towels and water bottles and it’s air conditioned so it was good. We really recommend staying here. All the staff were great and friendly and by far the best part!
