Mykonos Blu A Resort to Live®

We stayed at this hotel in June 2025. We booked a more expensive room – €1500 per night – with a private pool and sea view (Open Plan Suite Private Pool). On the last night, we returned from dinner around 10 PM. My wife went to take a shower and called me 5–10 minutes later because the entire floor was covered in water – it was leaking from the drain behind the toilet. I called for service, but they only arrived around 11:30 PM. After 20 minutes, they said they couldn’t fix the issue and would provide us with another room. They did, but the new room was of a lower category and clearly worse. We didn’t want to stay there, but they insisted, saying it would be free of charge (well, of course I wouldn’t pay for that room). In the end, I decided to take a shower in the new room and then sleep in our original suite. I asked for housekeeping to clean our room, but they told me housekeeping doesn’t work at night. Overall, this hotel is very poor for the price – definitely not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend staying here to anyone. The beach is also bad – very hard sand, uncomfortable for kids. This is a 3.5–4 star hotel at best, definitely not a 5-star. If you’re an experienced traveler but visiting Mykonos for the first time, I strongly recommend looking for a better hotel.

our stay at Mykonos Blu was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the level of service was exceptional and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our vacation. A special thank you to Sotiris, who was always professional, friendly, and willing to help with anything we needed. Every interaction with him made our experience even better. The Reception team was outstanding. No matter how many times we called, there was always a solution, a quick response, and a genuine desire to assist. Their professionalism and efficiency gave us complete peace of mind during our stay. The entire hotel operates at a very high level, from the beautiful facilities and stunning views to the excellent food and warm hospitality from every department. It is clear that the team takes great pride in creating memorable experiences for their guests. Mykonos Blu is one of those rare places that makes you want to return before you've even left. Everything about our stay at Mykonos Blu has been absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed so warmly and personally, which instantly made us feel at home. The room is beautiful, the location is excellent, and every single member of staff has been incredibly lovely, attentive, and professional throughout our stay. Every visit to any part of the hotel and every interaction with any member of staff has been exceptional. The beach is stunning, and the private section with the sun beds is amazing, such a relaxing atmosphere, made even better by the friendly and attentive beach staff. The hotel breakfast is honestly one of the BEST I’ve ever had, and I travel a lot! The quality, variety, and overall experience were outstanding every morning. Any questions and requests we had were handled immediately and with genuine care. It’s rare to experience such consistently exceptional service. We have truly loved every moment here and are already hoping to plan a return visit! Thank you to the entire team at Mykonos Blu for making our stay so memorable. We cannot wait to come back!

Mykonos Blu ended up becoming such a huge part of why I completely fell in love with Mykonos itself. I originally came to the island to better understand the area, hospitality culture, tourism flow, and potential clientele as someone who owns a boutique luxury-focused dog daycare and boarding business in Clearwater. I had endless questions throughout my stay, honestly probably almost annoyingly so at times, yet every single person I interacted with was beyond patient, kind, informative, and genuinely welcoming. The staff went above and beyond explaining not only details about the hotel itself, but also the island, the culture, the seasonal flow, the clientele, surrounding areas, and what makes Mykonos such a special destination. I spent many hours over multiple days speaking with staff, observing the atmosphere, learning the area, and truly immersing myself in the experience. Never once did I feel rushed or like my curiosity was a burden. What stood out most was how effortlessly the hotel creates a luxury experience that still feels warm, personal, and relaxed. The property naturally attracts the exact kind of elevated, experience-focused clientele I personally connect with and would seek within my own business model. Between the views, ambiance, hospitality, and overall energy, it became very easy to picture myself wanting to return for more than just a vacation. I can honestly say Mykonos Blu and its staff became a major reason why I seriously started considering the possibility of returning one day and potentially opening something in the area myself. The experience left that much of an impression on me, and I’m incredibly grateful for the kindness, insight, and hospitality shown throughout my stay.
