We had a really good stay at Hotel Decameron Tafoukt Beach. Our first night we stayed in a room in the main building, which was quite noisy due to the nearby nightclub. As we arrived after midnight, there were no other rooms available at that time. However, the next day the staff immediately arranged a different room for us with a terrace overlooking the pool, which made a big difference. The hotel is a bit older, but everything is very well maintained and impressively clean. Every day the pool area was thoroughly cleaned, and even the sunbeds were regularly moved and washed, which shows great attention to hygiene. The food was very extensive and varied, with plenty of choice every day. The à la carte restaurants were also very good (we were able to use them three times). A big shout out to the animation team, especially Fatima, for bringing great energy and making the stay even more enjoyable!

We were apprehensive in coming to this hotel due to a lot of reviewers not staying here for as long as we were planning. However, I can happily say that this hotel is one of the best I have stayed at on my travels. We stayed here for 2 weeks, all inclusive. The food was incredible. Every night there was a different cuisine, whether that was Italian, moroccan, Cantonese, Mexican, there were so many options you'd leave with a full and happy tummy. There were plainer options such as chips, pizza, chicken nuggets available most nights and lunchtimes. There was an array of salads, mixed and separate. And the same with desserts. Our personal favourite were the fried donut looking things with honey and caramel sauce, a must try! I do wish they had a late night snack bar as we got quite hungry later at night. All inclusive drinks were great, a good variety. They obviously tasted different being in a different country but just as good. Coke, sprite, Fanta, orange juice, cocktails, vodka coke, cappuccino etc. Alcoholic beverages were a bit strong but I just asked for a small amount of alcohol in mine and the staff were happy to oblige. The staff were fantastic. Very attentive, worked hard to keep the hotel clean. That's restaurants, rooms, bars, pool area etc. They were great without a tip, but we tipped because of how good their service was. The pool team especially worked hard day and night with cleaning and helping with umbrellas. The animation team were top tier. Working hard to keep guests entertained, pool games, darts, dancing, traditional Moroccan tagine making. And the night time entertainment was just as good, full productions and game nights beforehand. They made our holiday more fun than it would've been just us two. Special mention to Oussama and Yahya and simo as they were especially attentive and talkative to us as a couple. Only problem we had was that there were a lot of French guests staying at the hotel and the staff were more inclined to speak French (understandable with it being their second language) however, it made us feel slightly out of the loop at times as English wasn't used as much as we would have liked. Perhaps more into summer with more English guests it might be used more. The rooms were spacious. We had a bedroom, bathroom, toilet, living room and two balconies. Lots of storage too. The cleaners were amazing. Every time we wanted our room cleaned, we'd come back to clean floors, new bedding and the bins emptied. They also cleared up any rubbish just left in the room. The hotel is right in the middle of agadir and has easy access to the beach, which was beautiful. We felt very safe walking around during the day and the evenings/night. Lots of waves on the beach but lifeguards are always about. There is a taxi rank right outside the hotel, we asked for the price of wherever we were going before we got into the taxi as we heard they can rip you off. Or if you're not comfortable with it, on one occasion we asked the doorman to get us a taxo which he did with no problem, however it was more expensive. We recommend always carrying cash with you, there is a cash machine inside the hotel which we used. The exchange rate is was great on there. We booked a few trips during our stay Paradise beach Marrakech Mini sahara tour All picked up up from the hotel with no problem We also did a trip to the Medina which was beautiful and we recommend going to, as well as to the souk in agadir. The hotel itself has a small souk next door and a few shops a short walk away. Lots of restaurants available along the promenade if you don't fancy eating at the hotel. There are lots of cats/kittens about, but they're all very friendly. They don't harass you for food or jump up on tables. They mostly sleep around the pool and in the lobby, very well taken care of which we liked to see and we heard they are also vaccinated. The staff get on well with them and clearly take care of them as there were food bowls and water left out for them. Overall a great stay, we would love to return here in the future. 11/10 ♥️♥️

The service from the staff at the restaurant was good but l felt very let down by the animation team as they only catered for the French guests. Through out the stay, they mainly focused on talking to the French guests. I was really looking forward to entertainment on the evening as it was a comedy but the team only spoke French and all the comedy sketches were in French so we didn’t understand what was being said. Very disappointing indeed!

The hotel overall was good, clean, great location and lovely food. However, only a few days ago, on Sunday 1st March, at the health spa, my husband was offered a sexual act by the girl who was masaging him as part of a Hammam. This is a four star family hotel and completely unacceptable. Very under hand.

I have spent a week halere and about to leave today. Hotel is good rooms are indeed of upgrade buy only cosmetically they had everything you need but are more in par with 3 strmar hotel however how much time do you actually spend in your room apart from sleeping and washing etc. Bed firm but comfortable. Food was really good something for everyone and there's always something available to eat the al acarte restaurant are decent staff are friendly helpful and professional. There are alot of French stay at this hotel and they are quite difficult people to please in general. Buffet restaurant staff are worth a special mention always available to service and very pleased with there service. We stayed in room.724 as we wanted quiet and peace which we got . Really pleased would come back if your coming to Morocco and expecting 5star to be same as 5star in u.k or in say tenerife then your obviously not very well travelled but dont be put off by the reviews on here as I said some ppl are never happy if you want a nice get away in the sun for a week an dont wanna spend a fortune i would highly recommend this hotel 😉
