The Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort is an all-inclusive resort. The programme generally consists of breakfast, lunch and dinner, all buffet style, served in the main restaurant. During meals soft drinks, beer, water and wine are usually offered. Locally produced alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks like water, wine, soft drinks, beer and spirits are usually served throughout the day (except during meal times).

We just returned from a 7 nights stay at this beautifullll resort. What an amazing vacation. Rooms - Ridiculously spacious! The bed was unbelievably comfortable (my wife said it was hands-down the best bed she’s ever slept in). The bathroom featured both a great shower and a full bath. There’s also a huge balcony, though we didn't spend too much time on it—why just look at the view when you can actually be out there experiencing it.. right? The Food: Excellent variety! As non-meat/chicken eaters, the fresh local fish was a phenomenal option every day—always tasty and prepared to perfection. The Beach: Yes, there are local beach vendors, which is typical for Africa as people are just trying to make a living. They were always polite and respectful when we politely declined, and they stay off the hotel’s private sunbed area, giving you plenty of peace and space. The ocean water is fantastic, with a much more manageable low tide compared to the east coast of Zanzibar.The Staff: Absolutely world-class! Always smiling, genuinely happy, and doing everything possible to make you feel welcome and valued. Special shoutouts to: Grace – The ultimate barista! Coffee just isn't the same without her. Said x3 – The two white-shirt managers and Said on the entertainment team (Japanese group for life! HHH). Jeramaya from The Cliff restaurant – Exceptional service and a fantastic attitude. We loved every moment here and can't wait to return!

Hotel is beautiful and kept in immaculate condition. Location is great, you have access to alot of things on the beachfront and can easily access the rest of the island on trip and taxis. All the staff are amazing. You're made to feel so welcomed

We had an incredible stay at Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort. The food was absolutely delicious with a great variety at every meal, and the drinks were always fresh and expertly prepared. The staff truly made our vacation special—they were warm, friendly, attentive, and always greeted us with a smile. Their exceptional hospitality made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The resort is beautiful, well-maintained, and the beachfront location is stunning. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend Royal Zanzibar Beach Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation. We can’t wait to return!

Great hotel. Wonderful staff. Our stay in the hotel was amazing. The room was on the first floor, very spacious and had beautiful porch. Very comfortable beds, clean. Restaurants were great with a lot of choices. Everyday the food was different. Freshly cooked and very delicious! Staff was extremely polite and always smiling, helping us with all our needs. Totally recommend choosing and staying in this beautiful hotel!

Lovely hotel, the most friendly staff you can wish for, amazingly and beautiful fresh food, nice private beach and an incredible Spa. I definitely recommend it. Even if the hotel is fully booked, there are so many sun beds and spread-out pools, you find an almost private place for yourself.
