The resort is beautiful peaceful and clean. The restaurant serves delicious food for breakfast lunch and dinner. Everything about our holiday was wonderful and I had four lovely days here. However one issue affected our experience. I had requested a large vehicle for our transfer to the airport and was informed that two breakfast boxes would be prepared for us to take along. Unfortunately although the vehicle was large it was old and uncomfortable for the one-hour journey to the airport. I have no complaints about the driver who was excellent throughout the journey. My concern is that I had specifically booked a large vehicle to ensure a comfortable and convenient transfer especially given that the airport is an hour away from the resort. Also the two breakfast boxes were not provided as promised. I hope the management will look into these matters to ensure that guests receive a comfortable vehicle and the services promised to them. Finally I would like to express my appreciation for all the staff. The restaurant team the reception staff the housekeeping team and the security guards all performed excellently and contributed greatly to our enjoyable stay.

This resort has been a favorite of my family for over a decade. This time, I stayed for 4 days and 3 nights with my family. The check-in process was smooth and satisfactory—congratulations! However, there was one thing that deeply disappointed and upset me. When I went to the Pinang Bar (next to the pool) around 11:15 AM on August 28, 2026, to order drinks, I was treated very unprofessionally by an Indian female staff member (I believe she was the cashier). She was unsmiling and unprofessional—behavior unbefitting of the Shangri-La Group, which is renowned for its standards of excellence in customer service. I hope management will reprimand and provide further training to her so she does not tarnish Shangri-La's image in the future. Regarding breakfast, I noticed some improvements, especially at the beverage station. Fresh fruit juices—such as watermelon, carrot, and cucumber—were available. I hope this continues and that the variety of fresh juices is expanded in the future. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the sausages; only chicken sausages were served every day. There was no rotation—unlike other five-star hotels that switch to beef or lamb sausages—so long-stay guests like myself wouldn't get bored of the same menu daily. Regardless, kudos to Mr. Vijay (Restaurant Manager) for providing excellent service to my family, as he has done for so long. For the Evening Cocktail service, I hope management might consider providing at least one substantial dish in the future, such as fried rice, fried noodles, or fried vermicelli. Kudos also to Mr. Guna at the Rasa Wing Lounge for his excellent service to guests over the years. Kudos to other outstanding staff members as well, such as Mr. Harun, Mr. Tahir (Recreation), Miss Pui Yin (Front Office), and Mr. Sugu & the Concierge team. Well done!

We had a wonderful stay at Shangri-La Rasa Sayang. A big thank you to all the staff, from the reception team to the bell service, for being so friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Special thanks to En. Yus (receptionist) for his kind assistance. The team really went the extra mile to arrange our rooms together, and we were lucky to get three interconnected rooms, which was perfect for our big family staycation. We also enjoyed an early check-in, late check-out, a delicious complimentary birthday cake, and access to Shangri-La Golden Sands next door. Breakfast was another highlight — plenty of variety and everything we tried was delicious! Overall, such a lovely experience. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so enjoyable and memorable. Definitely will come back😊

I wil have great memories of coming here for my whole life! I came with my wife for a friends wedding and had a great time. Buffet Chocolate pudding is insane and loved it. It is not easy to maintain a place like this in the tropical weather but i see that they do their best. Thank you

Had a great time at the junior suite Rasa Sayang. Customer service was top notch from the day we arrived till we checked out. Cant praise the customer service enough. Made us feel welcomed from the front desk right to the housekeeping crew.
