After an unfortunate series of events involving TUI, my wife and I were left stranded at Rhodes Airport at 2:00 a.m. after our flight home was cancelled. We were informed that passengers would need to arrange their own accommodation, which understandably resulted in a very chaotic situation. After unsuccessfully trying several hotels due to the late hour, we spoke with Sozon, the Night Manager at Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan. From the moment we arrived, he greeted us warmly and immediately put us at ease. He seamlessly arranged a room for us, organised a meal plan, and ensured we were comfortable for the night. His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine care were exceptional, and his handling of a difficult situation was exemplary. The following morning, Roula took over and was equally impressive. She quickly clarified the situation, arranged a late check-out at a very reasonable rate, and did everything possible to help us despite the circumstances being entirely outside the hotel’s control. Her professionalism and customer service were outstanding. The hotel itself is fantastic, with excellent facilities and a welcoming atmosphere, but it was the kindness and dedication of the staff that truly stood out. Both Sozon and Roula turned what could have been a very stressful experience into a positive one. We are incredibly grateful to the team at Sol by Melia Cosmopolitan for their kindness and support. When we return to Rhodes, we know exactly where we will be staying.

We spent time at the Sol Cosmopolitan Hotel. I wanted to say that this hotel is worth choosing. The food is fresh, the international cuisine is different every day, the rooms are clean, the private beach is private, and the entertainment staff are wonderful, kind, and always smiling. ❤️🫶😊 The evenings for children could be a bit more varied, but most importantly, they are there. My only criticism is that the information could be in Polish. There is also a Polish entertainment staff, so they don't have to learn the language. It's a shame that our language is so neglected (there were many Polish families there). Thank you for a wonderful time at your hotel. I truly recommend this hotel!!! 🥳, ❤️ There are also performances for adults every day.

Our flight was delayed until the following day, which was incredibly stressful as it happened around 3am. The airline was supposed to provide accommodation and transport, but unfortunately they were unable to find anything and told us to arrange it ourselves. Thankfully, my husband found this hotel, and honestly, it was the best thing that could have happened. From the moment we called, Sozon was absolutely amazing. His kindness, professionalism and willingness to help immediately made us feel relieved during a very difficult situation. When we arrived, the excellent service continued. The hotel itself is fantastic, but what truly makes this place special is the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming and genuinely cared about helping us. A special thank you as well to Roula, who helped us the following morning. She handled our situation professionally and provided exceptional customer service. Honestly, everything happens for a reason. What started as a stressful travel experience turned into a wonderful stay thanks to the incredible team here. If you ever find yourself needing accommodation at short notice, this is definitely the place to book. The service, atmosphere and facilities were all 10/10. We couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly.

The rooms, in my opinion were slightly outdated. Could do with a freshen up. Our room, the sink plugs didn't hold the water! It didn't take away from the holiday though. Breakfast wasn't great for me personally but for those who enjoy variety it would be fine. The rest of the food was lovely. In terms of location, you would likely need to use transport, be it the hotel shuttle or the bus (located outside the hotel) or a taxi, which was about 100 yards from the hotel. €10 for a taxi one way. Shuttle €9 return. It was about 10/15 minutes to the Old Town. The reception staff were excellent and very helpful. If you are looking for help/advice on places to visit around Rhodes they are a fountain of knowledge. The cleaners on our block were wonderful. Chatty, engaging and friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay at this hotel but I personally wouldn't return.

Arrived 7th June for 1week, the hotel was very busy, lots of families with young children not really my scene but ok for the week. The room was comfortable said it was a land view but we could see the sea, nice balcony. Choice of food was very good in the restaurant and it was kept exceptionally clean, all tables cleared as soon as the tables were vacated, as was the rest of the hotel and grounds always someone cleaning and clearing away glasses around the pool area. Big shout out to the bar men in the main bar Mikes & Max kept the cocktails flowing and very friendly. Only downside for me was the all inclusive drinks menu it was very limited especially the cocktails, you could pay for other cocktails but that to me defeats the all inclusive policy. All in all enjoyed my stay and the weather was beautiful.
