10/10 experience. The property itself is beautiful and in a great area with local restaurants. The staff went above & beyond and were extremely friendly. On the days we spent by the pool, Sam was extremely attentive and made sure we were always cared for. The manager went above and beyond with helping us during our stay. She was beyond personal and friendly. I cannot say enough good things about this hotel. The views are great, and the rooms are fantastic. The food and drinks are awesome. We will definitely be coming back if we are in Greece. JM in concierge was also very helpful throughout the stay, arranging for a car rental for us. Everything was perfect and as relaxing as possible.

My wife and I stayed here for the first stop of our honeymoon and it did not disappoint. Beautiful property, excellent service, and great restaurant to name just a few things (definitely book a dinner downstairs at Alati). The location is great with some great restaurants and shops right there in Megalochori. Make sure you take a 15 min walk down to a beautiful look out point over the water (Heart of Santorini). The staff were incredible and were very accommodating. We had Spiros pick us up and drop us off, as well as took us out on a local wine/beer tour. He was very friendly and knowledgable about Santorini as well as greek wine. 10/10 recommend, would definitely love to come back.

I recommend staying at this hotel if you want to enjoy Santorini while being in a relatively calm area. It's a hotel you'll remember forever. +: Professional FO staff and acknowledgement of status (stunning upgrade to an aethenian suite). The late-night snack for my midnight arrival was a really nice touch!!! +: Lovely a-la-carte breakfast with freshly squeezed juices and plenty of savoury and sweet options. Sam and the whole team was super sweet. +: Lovely grounds, very well maintained +: Two pools and a open air jacuzzi (bit lukewarm but fine) +: Comprehensive spa and one of the best massages I've had a in a while +/-: Cats, loads of cats especially at breakfast. Lovely to see that they're well taken care of! +/-: Check your emails so you don't miss the prepayment link they'll send you 2 weeks prior. -: Limited smart TV features (only YouTube and Miracast) but you won't need it unless the weather is horrible...

The Vedema really stood out for us because of their phenomenal service and staff! We were greeted with such warm welcomes, and they truly took care of us from the beginning of our stay until the end. They really pay attention to detail, and the staff takes the time to remember everyone and constantly check in on what we need. In particular, I have to thank Fofo, Alex, Thassos, and Nikos for truly exceptional service. Also, the breakfast at the hotel was the best we have ever had. Simply amazing from the moment I walked onto the property. Let me begin by saying this hotel is absolutely stunning. The pools, the breathtaking views, the beautiful villas, and the incredible staff all exceeded every expectation. Every member of the team goes above and beyond to make your stay unforgettable. From the moment I arrived, Foteini's smile and energy immediately made me feel welcome. She helped plan our entire stay, gave us fantastic local recommendations, and made reservations for us. She treated us like old friends, making sure we experienced the very best Santorini had to offer and always ensuring we had the best tables. She was always available, incredibly thoughtful, and genuinely kind. I never felt like just another hotel guest—I felt like a VIP visiting a friend who knew everyone on the island. I can't thank her enough for making our trip so special. Once we made our way to the pool, Eri took wonderful care of us. She welcomed us as though we were guests in her own home. She was funny, intelligent, engaging, and genuinely kind. She knew exactly which drinks to recommend and never steered us wrong. Every day I looked forward to seeing her because I knew she would have another great recommendation or surprise waiting for us. She made every afternoon by the pool even more enjoyable. One experience you absolutely cannot miss is the wine tasting in the 300-year-old cave with Panos Fotiadis. It was elegant, intimate, and easily one of the highlights of our trip. Panos is an exceptional sommelier with an impressive knowledge of Greek wines. The tasting was expertly presented, and each wine was perfectly paired with delicious local cheeses. The property itself is spectacular, but it is the people who make this place truly extraordinary. Every member of the staff was warm, engaging, intelligent, and sincerely interested in making our stay unforgettable. There were so many employees who went above and beyond that it's impossible to mention them all. I can honestly say I have never experienced a friendlier or more welcoming hotel staff anywhere in the world. If you have the opportunity to stay here, don't worry about planning every detail. Simply arrive, say hello, and let this incredible team take care of the rest. They will make you feel at home from the moment you arrive until the moment you leave.
