Family Jamaica Holidays

This is a great resort. It's not too big, not too small. Entertainment was fun every evening. Beach was gorgeous there were a few walking vendors selling their goods. If you're not interested just politely tell them no and they will just continue on. We had butler service for this trip. Our 1 butler was awesome the other seemed like we were a bother. But the service was exceptional.

Our stay in Jamaica was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we arrived, everyone made us feel so welcomed and at home. The hospitality, attention to detail, and overall experience exceeded every expectation we had. A very special thank you to our butlers, Anthony and Tawani, who truly went above and beyond to make this trip unforgettable. Every detail was handled with such care and thoughtfulness. Anthony would personally pick us up and escort us to dinner, place our napkins on our laps when we sat down, fill our waters, and even take our drink orders before the waiter made it to the table. He always made sure my 4-year-old daughter had a special drink of her choice, and she absolutely adored him. Seeing how kind and attentive he was with her made the experience even more special for our family. We also can’t forget the emotional goodbye from the staff before leaving the resort. They came out and sang to us, and it had all of us in tears not wanting to leave such a beautiful, magical place. The love and warmth we felt from everyone there is something we will never forget. This trip gave our family memories we will cherish forever, and I highly recommend this resort to all families looking for an unforgettable vacation experience. We already cannot wait to come back!

Beaches Negril is amazing! Nestled on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world the resort is a great place for families and couples to enjoy. Sandals is better for Couples who do not want to be around children. Food was great, Rooms were great, staff were great. Some of the staff that made our stay memorable… Lesmore- The Mill and more (5 stars) Donovan- Concierge (5 stars) Montoya- Concierge (5 stars) Garfield - The Mill (5 stars) Charlene- Front Desk (5 stars) Shauntel - Front Desk (5 stars) Savannah building Ocena View was a great room. YAKU & SOY & The Mill were our favorites. The only recommendation we would make is for sandals/beaches to put smart TVs in the rooms. It’s time Other than that, it’s an amazing place

The rooms were good but did seem a little old. The property layout was great. We thought it was laid out well and wasn’t a long walk to get anywhere. The beach was amazing! I did think there should be more regular staff walking around to offer drinks. There was only one person the whole time I was there. Also, it seemed like a lot of things were out of stock. We went to Stella’s and the limoncello drink listed was out of stock, there were no Tamago on 2 days we went to Soy, and some other things that they did not have available when we tried to order. The shuttle included with the hotel was fine. We did not have to wait long at all — maybe 15 min. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would come back again!

Our stay at Beaches Negril in Jamaica was nothing short of amazing! From the beautiful resort and delicious food to the endless activities and incredible staff, it truly was a dream vacation for our family. The two people who stood out the most were Tanisha and Tazalee, who worked at the food trucks and buffet. They always made sure we were well taken care of, greeted us with genuine smiles, and went above and beyond to make every meal special. Their kindness, warmth, and attention to detail made such a difference and truly elevated our entire trip. The entire staff was exceptional. They interacted with our kids every day, played soccer with them on the beach, and made them feel so welcomed and included. It wasn’t just great customer service—it felt like they genuinely cared about making unforgettable memories for our family. Thank you to everyone at Beaches for an incredible experience. We can’t wait to come back!

This is by far one of the best all-inclusive resorts I’ve ever been to. From the first day I arrived, I felt extremely welcomed by the staff. My luggage was carried gently into my room, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the food at the resort tasted amazing. However, I visited the jerk chicken station on the last day of my trip and was a bit disappointed—the flavors were not hitting at all. I believe there could be some improvement when it comes to the jerk chicken station. I loved the ambience of the hotel! The rooms were generally clean, except for the bed frames, which were very dusty. Because of this, I had to sleep on the other side of the bed for the duration of my stay. Although we received room service, it seemed the cleaners did not pay attention to the dusty bed frames. Overall, I truly enjoyed the hotel. There were daily shows to entertain guests, and I loved every one of them.

I have stayed at 6 different times since 2014 but then it was Hilton Rose Hall. Due to unforeseen circumstances (Hurricane Melissa) my flight was cancelled and I am not sure when I will be able to fly back home. The hotel is charging me $300.00 per night and if the weather was good, I am sure the room I am occupying will be empty. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone else and it will be my last time occupying this resort. There’s no compassion for people who don’t have any other choice, considering the circumstances.

My stay at Dreams Rosehall was really well spent. Let me first start with the positives. The property itself is beautiful!! Almost every where you walk on the property you'll have an amazing view of the sea. The lazy river and slides gives a great mixture of excitement and relaxation whichever you feel for. The position of the restaurants are mostly central and you'll always in reach of a bar or food stop. The service is 5 star! The staff will make you feel at home. I experienced no bad service at all. The food is really good. There is a perfect balance of Jamaican and international cuisine. From the main buffet, to the a la carte, there is always a great variety with great taste. I tried almost everything. The only issue I would have had isn't really a big issue as but I do believe the rooms are bit dated. They are clean but I think with some small renovations they can be much better. All in all, it was an exceptional experience, thank you dreams for a great stay!

The food was always amazing, with lots of variety. The staff couldn't do enough, always there to help. The service was impeccable, and they were always really friendly. We did have to change rooms, some of the rooms could do with a bit of updating. There were many activities at this all inclusive resort and we never felt bored. My family and I decided to pay for a boat trip that they had on offer with a company they work with, which was absolutely amazing. There was quite a hard sell for a time-share like programme, but apart from that, no complaints really.

Check-in was scheduled for 4 pm, but unfortunately, our room wasn’t ready until 6 pm. To their credit, the hotel made up for this by offering us a complimentary late check-out (normally charged at about $50 USD per hour), which was appreciated. The facilities overall were clean and well maintained. However, the spa was missing a sauna and steam room, which was a bit disappointing. Food was mixed. The Italian restaurant was a highlight with very enjoyable meals. The buffet had a decent selection, but many items were served warm or even cold instead of hot, which took away from the experience. The restaurant staff were excellent — very friendly and often went above and beyond to accommodate requests, which really stood out. Entertainment was varied. The DJ played throughout, but the music selection could have covered a wider range of genres. On the other hand, the poolside entertainment was fantastic, and the lazy river/tube pool was a lot of fun — we ended up spending a full day just relaxing there. Rooms were decent and clean. The bathrooms felt a little dated but were well maintained. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with some memorable highlights, though there are a few areas where the experience could be improved.

If I could give this place -10 stars I would, I stayed with a large party about 12 of us and about 5 rooms total. We all have been to Jamaica once before staying at different resorts, however my aunt stayed here previously and recommend it. Not to mention all the money we spent as a group we bought multiple cabanas almost every day and did excursions. It was for my grandfathers 60th birthday. They gave him the wrong room for days the room was a downgrade from what he originally purchased, one of my other family members had a room with a broken AC. The attitudes of the staff was terrible, and my grandfather was gifted a $900 brand new canon camera, that was gifted at dinner, stayed in his room the whole trip and was missing right before when we left. We also had to retrieve our own bags when leaving from the room because they took so long and our scheduled ride was soon leaving. I contacted the hotel about a month after, about the camera and was put on a almost never ending wild goose chase through phone and email for almost a year just to be told even with an insurance claim after all the money all 12 of us spent on this resort they couldn’t replace my grandfathers camera and offered a laughable $100-150 for a brand new $900 canon camera (with receipts of purchase provided). When we are certain it was taken from him room. We go on vacations every year we’ll be in Aruba this summer, and we have been to Jamaica plenty of time we will NEVER go on this resort again. (Also added a photo so you can see how many of us came so you can infer how much money we spent total so to not replace a $900 camera stolen on your property, even after all the bad service and lose out on potential repeat customers is a terrible business move by the way.)

My daughter got married at the Hyatt Ziva. We had a wonderful experience! Loved our room, service was great and the location perfect!! The only one complaint was the shower gel pump. It was difficult to dispense.the gel. Other family members had the same issue. Overall experience was great!!

We went for a short getaway. Every food spot was located on the zilara family side. It was disappointing and exhausting to walk each day multiple times a day to get a meal since we booked for the adults only and still had to encounter kids daily. The food was below average, the staff wasn’t as friendly as I hoped because we recently had stayed at the royalton Jamaica and that staffing was amazing compared to a hyatt resort.

Water was a bit choppy but everything overall was amazing! Our eldest enjoyed his cabana and his snacks being catered to him! Thank you so much to all the wonderful staffs!

Went with a groups of friends and everyone had an amazing time. I would like to especially mention some of the staff that we encountered. Onique at the front desk was so helpful and amazing. Kyle Mighty endured our stupid jokes and was absolutely professional. Gillian our server at the buffet was the best of the best. She was so polite, friendly and fast. She even organized a surprise for our friend celebrating a birthday. She is lovely! Avian firstly I’m sorry that we pressured you so much at the bar haha but you remained professional and we appreciate your service. Hotel manager Stefan was also very polite and professional. Shoutout to Jason even though we never met him he helped us to have a great day without any hiccups. Overall all the staff were fantastic even though I can’t recall all the names. The food was great, the property was very clean and everyone took the time to make us feel special even as locals.

On our vacation we enjoyed the atmosphere, the food and the staff. The kids wanted to play at the beach. The also had a nurse on site when we visited. Which was great because our little one had a fever but the nurse was able to swiftly assist. We would go again to the Jewel Grande

Firstly I want to send special thank you to butler TOBY and TYRONE for my beautiful room decor. My dining experience at the steakhouse was excellent with our waiter EVON top notch. The food was good, steaks were amazing, temperature on Point with a beautiful presentation. The drinks were made with love 10/10.The property was very clean and tidy. House keeping was quick and reliable with our request. The staff were friendly and helpful.Just need more entertainment options after dinner there wasn’t much to do just the club. Overall experience 100/10. Definitely will be back.

We had an incredible stay at this resort! Our Ocean View King Suite Jr was stunning, and the property's beauty and cleanliness exceeded our expectations 😍. But what truly made our experience special was the exceptional staff 🙌. Everyone we interacted with was kind, responsive, and respectful. A big thank you to Claudia for the warm welcome at reception, Byron for his helpfulness with our bags, Keerol for serving us drinks with a smile at the pool bar, and Claude for teaching my husband how to ride wind sail boat. The staff at the pool bars, restaurants, leading daily events and concierge were all commendable for their hospitality. We loved how the resort catered to both families and adults, offering a perfect blend of fun and relaxation ✌️. The afternoon events by the pool are led by the hotel staff and they were one of the most entertaining and fun times. However, we have only one feedback, we would recommend the evening events as well to highlight the local Jamaican talent, reflecting their culture, music, people and Jamaican life. Overall, we highly recommend this resort for an unforgettable vacation experience!

I literally love this resort!! I had the best time and didn't want to leave. There were a few reasons why I gave 5 stars.. Marvin, the server was AMAZING! HE LITERALLY MADE EVERYONE FEEL SO WELCOMED! He made everyone laugh and his work ethic was fire and on point! As he picked up all the dirty dishes, he made sure every guest was attended to. I dont think I ever seen him slow down . He worked everyday except one and I noticed he wasn't there by the change in Atmosphere and cleanliness of the place. He really needs to be cloned lol! Secondly, the activities ladies are so awesome as well! They are so bubbly, full of smiles, and try so hard to get people to come play the games, which are fun! The dancing was my favorite!! The hotel amenities were on point for me but I wished the dj played more because music is life!! I had no issues there and was so sad when I couldn't stay past my week stay.. I will come back!! So beautiful!

Really enjoyed our time in Jamaica. Our butlers Toby and Lennox were great! They checked in on us and kept us informed on what was going on and they managed to get us a difficult reservation. They were friendly and fantastic! The hotel was in process of stuff being worked on and is in need of some upkeep. The staff was helpful and friendly. The food was really good! The beach was wonderful and I loved the water stuff they have! Super fun!

A very nice hotel. We used to come biannually for our family reunion when the hotel was Jamaica Grande 2000-2016. Now that the hotel is Jamaica Moon Palace, it is even grander. Lots of updates and extra places and perks to spend those vacation days and nights. Unfortunately it was a super short vacay for me and we had to leave but the place looks good. Staffing for the most part was very attentive. Of mention - the Customer Relations Supervisor, several supervisors in the dinner eating lounge. Needing improvement, one young man at the front who was not as professional as he should have been. Rooms were well prepared but has an awkward view. However, that said the experience e was worth it. Thank you.

The entertainment team was absolutely amazing, especially Warren and Steven! They were full of energy, kept the vibes going, and really knew how to get everyone involved. We had such a good time with them! I even learned some Jamaican dance moves, which was so much fun! The pool activities were a highlight too, lots of laughs, great music, good vibes, and plenty of dancing. Warren and Steven definitely made our experience even more memorable. Their energy and personalities were incredible, and they made sure everyone was having a great time. Big thanks to both of them for making the holiday so much fun! 🇯🇲🔥💃🏽🕺🏽

I stayed at Moon Palace from July 22 through July 28, and unfortunately this was one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever had. I chose this resort because of its reputation, but it failed to meet even basic expectations. Our problems started immediately after check-in. The room we were assigned had a broken air conditioner and the Wi-Fi was not working. Instead of relaxing after arriving, we had to deal with reporting maintenance issues. Things got even worse early Friday morning when the entire property lost power around 3:45 a.m. The outage lasted until almost 5:00 a.m., making it nearly impossible to sleep. Later that morning, we went to complain about our room accommodations. We were instructed to visit the Public Relations department, where we were met with an employee who had a poor attitude and seemed uninterested in helping us. We were told we had to wait until 3:00 p.m. just to speak with a manager. Thankfully, when we finally met with the manager, they moved us to another room, but by then we had already lost valuable vacation time dealing with issues that should have never occurred. The biggest disappointment came on Saturday morning, when I experienced a medical emergency involving my left ear. I had no choice but to visit the resort doctor. While I understand medical care comes at a cost, the charges were excessive: • $280 for the doctor’s visit • $120 for an antibiotic • $120 for medicated ear drops • $100 to have my left ear flushed • $20 processing fee That’s a total of $640 in unexpected medical expenses during what was supposed to be a relaxing vacation. The entertainment was also disappointing. The resort advertised a Carnival Night, but the DJ played almost exclusively Hispanic music throughout the night. The event did not match the advertised theme, and it felt misleading for guests expecting a Carnival-style experience with a broader variety of music. Another evening at the Loud Bar Sports Lounge, several guests took over the music and behaved in a loud, disruptive, and disrespectful manner. It appeared there was little to no staff intervention, making the atmosphere uncomfortable for everyone else trying to enjoy their evening. As if that wasn’t enough, around 3:30 a.m. on our final morning, the resort experienced another property-wide power outage. Having two overnight power outages during the same vacation is simply unacceptable for a resort that markets itself as a luxury destination. Overall, my stay was filled with room issues, poor customer service, power outages, unexpected medical expenses, and disappointing entertainment. For the amount of money guests pay to stay at Moon Palace, I expected a much higher standard of service and reliability. I will not be returning to Moon Palace, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend this resort to others. There are far better resorts that provide the quality, service, and experience that Moon Palace promises but failed to deliver.

Unfortunately, our arrival experience at Moon Palace Jamaica was extremely disappointing. We checked in at 4:00 p.m., but when we went upstairs, we discovered that our room had not been cleaned appropriately. Dust all over the counter tops, the floors were not mopped, the bathroom smelled like someone used it before they left the room and the rug was filthy. We immediately notified the staff and were offered another room, but the available options were either smaller or did not have a balcony. Since we specifically paid extra for a balcony room, accepting a downgrade was not an appropriate solution. We made it clear that we were willing to keep our assigned room and simply wanted it cleaned. We were told that this would be taken care of, so we walked around the resort for two hours to give housekeeping enough time. When we returned at 6:00 p.m., the room was still dirty. After traveling all day, we had now spent another two hours unable to shower, unpack, or relax. When we asked to speak with management again, we continued to receive the runaround. We were told there was no night manager available until 11:00 p.m. and that nothing else could be done besides placing us in a downgraded room. We repeatedly explained that we were not asking for anything unreasonable—we simply wanted the room we paid for to be cleaned. We were not able to enter our room until approximately 8:30 p.m., nearly five hours after checking in. This was completely unacceptable and took away a significant portion of the first day of our birthday trip. The disappointment continued throughout the stay. I have stayed there 2 times prior to this visit, in March and in April of this year at Moon Palace Jamaica and the resort was noticeably different this time. The entertainment was not as enjoyable, and there were far fewer activities happening throughout the stay. Prior to this visit, the entertainment was lively and consistent there was noticeable gaps in the entertainment. A lot of silent moments in the main pool when previously at least music would be playing in the background. The entertainment team during our stay 8/12 - 8/17 was lacking in consistency and interactions with guest. Did not feel as welcoming or as friendly as before. I had such amazing experience in March and April that I purchased travel package at check out in April and returned with my best friends to celebrate their birthdays. Unfortunately, this visit did not live up to those earlier experiences. We expected much better service, communication, and accountability—especially from a resort of this caliber. We hope management takes this feedback seriously because the arrival experience set a disappointing tone for what was supposed to be a very special trip.
