This is by far one of the best all-inclusive resorts I’ve ever been to. From the first day I arrived, I felt extremely welcomed by the staff. My luggage was carried gently into my room, which made the experience even more pleasant. Overall, the food at the resort tasted amazing. However, I visited the jerk chicken station on the last day of my trip and was a bit disappointed—the flavors were not hitting at all. I believe there could be some improvement when it comes to the jerk chicken station. I loved the ambience of the hotel! The rooms were generally clean, except for the bed frames, which were very dusty. Because of this, I had to sleep on the other side of the bed for the duration of my stay. Although we received room service, it seemed the cleaners did not pay attention to the dusty bed frames. Overall, I truly enjoyed the hotel. There were daily shows to entertain guests, and I loved every one of them.

Our overall experience at Dreams Rose Hall was unfortunately mediocre, and certainly not worth the price for what is advertised as a 5-star Hyatt property. The hotel itself feels dated and in need of updates and general maintenance. The check-in process was frustratingly slow, with unnecessary complications that set the tone for the stay. While some staff were friendly, many had poor attitudes, which made interactions inconsistent. The food was one of the biggest disappointments. At the buffet, it was warm on some days but mostly cold. For an all-inclusive, it was surprising and frustrating to find that many things came with an extra charge—cabanas, a simple glass of wine at dinner, or upgraded meals like steak, lobster, or lamb at the Rum Factory. The beach was also a letdown. It seemed man-made, with very little sand, extremely shallow water, and nothing like the classic white sand beaches you expect in Jamaica. On the positive side, the rooms were clean, but housekeeping was unreliable. Some days our room wouldn’t be cleaned until very late in the day, which was inconvenient. The one highlight of our stay was the coffee shop, which was by far the nicest area of the hotel and provided a consistently pleasant experience. In the end, I would not recommend Dreams Rose Hall. For the price, it falls far short of Hyatt standards and does not deliver a true 5-star experience. There are better options in Jamaica that offer higher value for the same or less cost.

I have stayed at 6 different times since 2014 but then it was Hilton Rose Hall. Due to unforeseen circumstances (Hurricane Melissa) my flight was cancelled and I am not sure when I will be able to fly back home. The hotel is charging me $300.00 per night and if the weather was good, I am sure the room I am occupying will be empty. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone else and it will be my last time occupying this resort. There’s no compassion for people who don’t have any other choice, considering the circumstances.

If you book your stay here be prepared for persons from The Playa Collection to walk up to you and try to get you to sign up, don’t do it, it is a time share that you can’t get out off. The representative will tell you all these wonderful things and when you are lock in it is all a lie. The first thing I ask the guy if I can cancel at anytime and he said yes. Now that I want to cancel they are telling me I had only four days from the time of signing the contract to cancel. Now they withdraw everything from my credit card and almost everyday they attempt to withdraw money even up to a $1. I called and email and the representative are so rude. Will walking on the beach or eating they will approach you. The got me when I was trying to check out to catch my flight back home so I never had the time to read the fine print. DON’T DO IT IS A SCAM!

I believe it's in a very good location with all the stuff necessary to make it great. Excellent views of the ocean and landscape, multiple pools with slides, tennis/basketball court, golf course etc. What I think could be better, is more emphasis on food service. The food should not be cold. Particularly dinner needs to be addressed. Other than that Excellent resort for everyone whether you are single, coupled, coupled with kids or older folks. It caters to all. I need to note that the staff was very kind, helpful and intelligent.
