The resort was very comfortable and in an amazing location. The beach is everything you could imagine a Caribbean island beach would be. Clear blue and turquoise waters, sugar sand, warm, clean, and calm. The resort is showing its age, but the rooms were comfortable. Daily service helped to keep the rooms clean and ready to relax after a day in the sun. Minor service needs on arrival to the room but they were promptly addressed. There is road noise audible in many places, but overall it was not terrible in the places that mattered. The food was great. Good variety, quality taste, well prepared. Portions were small, but that added to the opportunity to try more dishes. The resort staff are very friendly and helpful, the entertainment team is engaging and fun, the bar staff were well equipped to handle most drink requests. If you’re looking for a resort with lively atmosphere, but plenty of space for quiet relaxing, Azul will offer that. Definitely planning to be back.

Nice hotel with good entertainment overall. The entertainment team had so much energy and really made the week fun. However, the music could have been better as I came to Jamaica hoping to experience more of the local culture. The rooms were not very clean on arrival, as there was hair left in the shower, which wasn’t ideal. That said, all the staff were very lovely and welcoming. We came for a birthday trip and the birthday girl was very pleased with the experience. 🎉

We had a wonderful experience at this resort, and what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible staff. The beach was cleaned daily by the lifeguards, and they took great care to make sure all guests were comfortable. They made an effort to speak with everyone and ensure that people’s needs were met. Ryan and Rush (Rash) were especially attentive and helpful throughout our stay. During our trip, our child needed medical assistance, and the nurse on site, T. Bingham, was absolutely amazing. He showed genuine care and concern for our child. He arranged for a doctor to come to the resort, kept us fully informed about the appointment, and even ensured that the antibiotics were delivered. His professionalism and compassion meant so much to us. When you are traveling in another country, knowing that someone will truly take care of you when you are sick brings incredible peace of mind. Because of staff like Ryan, Rash, and T. Bingham, we would recommend this resort 100%. Thank you for making our stay safe, comfortable, and memorable.

We just returned from a week at Azul and had the best time! Our room had a beautiful ocean view from the balcony and we loved to rest out there on the lounger pod. Whether you love the local flavors or are looking for something a bit more common like cheeseburgers, pizza and pasta, there’s always lots to enjoy. If we tried something and didn’t care for it, we tried something else and kept our vacation moving. 7 mile beach is the best beach we’ve found in all our travels and those sunsets bring us back time and time again! What really makes this place though is the staff. KerryAnn and Indera made the best drinks. Marion, Kerriann, Rita and so many others made us feel welcome and cared for at meals times. Cheryl provided one of the best massages I’ve ever had at the spa (this is my second visit to Azul and second massage with her - HIGHLY recommend). Jermaine, our concierge, checked in on us every day and was a wonderful host and guide. This was a return trip for us so we were excited to reconnect with so many amazing people, including the warm smile and kind heart of Roxanne. If you’re hesitant based on others feedback, I encourage you to give this place a try, we have grown to love the people of Jamaica and this resort will give you the feel of the heart of this great place.

Loved the pool side bars. Staff was very friendly, Camille was always so friendly and made us great drinks. Marvin was great to work with as well. Very friendly and always willing to help us when we had questions. Khrysanne, such a beautiful soul was also amazing and always responded to us in a timely matter when we had questions. Only improvement I would say is housekeeping could do better and replacing washcloths when they are low and beach towels are almost always out when you are looking for one. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Azul.
