You absolutely cannot have a bad time here. This was the most special trip for my wife and myself for our anniversary. We met some great people and made 2 of the most amazing friends at the sports bar. Nardia and Horace made this trip what is was for us. We connected, talked, shared and even cried a little. My perspective of life has changed because of this trip. I want to bring my kids back now. Just a truly wonderful place to visit, reconnect with yourselves or just enjoy. When you visit , PLEASE PLEASE TIP and be generous. This is one of a few resorts that actually has their stuff together after the hurricane in October and they are back up and running at full capacity and not missing a beat .

The Spa/ Photo Studio/ 2 staff members saved this from being a complete 0/5 Arrival I recently stayed at Iberostar Rose Hall, Waves with my family, including my elderly mother, and it was one of the worst resort experiences I have had. The problems began immediately. There was no bellman available when we arrived with five pieces of luggage, and the lobby was uncomfortably hot. Check-in was slow, and after receiving our room assignments, the bellman we found simply pointed us toward the elevator rather than assisting with our bags. The elevator was also poorly air-conditioned, making an already frustrating arrival even worse. Room The rooms felt dated and in need of renovation. The biggest issue was the room key system: key cards repeatedly deactivated without explanation, cards weren’t beside any phones or other cards. This required at least five trips to reception for replacements or reactivation. The problem became a running joke within our family because we could never trust the cards to work and we didn’t trust leaving the room. Service Service was the resort’s most significant weakness. Most staff members appeared disengaged, with few greetings, smiles, or proactive offers of assistance. Interactions often felt cold and transactional. Many encounters gave the impression that attentive service was tied to tipping expectations. Regardless of whether that was intentional, basic hospitality often felt inconsistent, leaving us feeling more like an inconvenience than valued guests. A notable example occurred at the Hibachi restaurant. Our family had separate reservations and accepted that we could not be seated together. However, when my mother’s later reservation was delayed, guests were left waiting with no updates, explanation, or apology. A supervisor eventually stepped in, communicated professionally, and handled the situation well. One of the few examples of strong customer service during our stay. Food Food availability was inconvenient at times, especially with no room service available. During certain hours, the only option required a long walk across the property. While the selection was reasonable, overall food quality was disappointing. Many dishes lacked flavor and felt below the standard expected at a premium all-inclusive resort. The standout meal was the risotto at the Italian restaurant. Entertainment Entertainment and activities were underwhelming. The pool appeared to be the main attraction, and there was little else that encouraged participation. Spa The spa was the highlight of the trip. The facilities were well maintained, the staff were professional, and the sauna was excellent. It was one of the only areas where we consistently felt cared for as guests. Conclusion The resort fell far below expectations. Would I return? Absolutely not. Would I recommend it? No. The only reason I would consider coming back would be for the spa.

Wayne, Too ShorT, V6, Freshhh, KK and Micki from the Entertainment crew were the best. They made the trip for us and was very fun and energetic. 10 out of 10. Daniel was the best concierge was amazing and helped us with daily schedule. Charles in sales was amazing. Reggie on the catamaran was patient with my son and getting in the ocean. Dwayne was very nice in Little River. Definitely will be back again.

This resort is so much! It’s definitely a great vibe for friends who want to come and have fun but you can also relax too in many areas of the hotel! We came as 3 girls in our late 20s, we love music, good vibes, partying and relaxing! This hotel has it all The entertainment and music have been 10/10, and the food in the buffet restaurant is honestly amazing, the choice and flavour of the cuisine has honestly been delicious. We love well seasoned and tasty grub, and authentic Jamaican food which they have! All so fresh and tasty. The room is spacious and airy, very clean and as expected, the cleaners are also very attentive and the rooms are nice and cool. The beach is lovely, they do have vendors selling stuff but they aren’t any hassle. The waiting staff are all very professional and attentive, the reception and concierge team are also really attentive and can’t do enough for you! We have had an amazing time so far, it’s really beautiful and well kept, the staff here are constantly maintaining everything to a high standard. In the entertainment team, Too Short has been great and friendly, bringing the vibes and honestly shown us a great time! Big Wayne has also been great and so has Micky!! The entertainment staff and the pool bar staff in particularly (Oshane, Kymani, Errol) are all brilliant. We have had an amazing trip and we would definitely recommend and come back! Thank you for making our trip the best trip ever!!!
