Coming to the Iberostar waves is like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.🌈 The service and the people who work here is what makes your stay here so special. The entertainment crew are brilliant at why they do. From the encouragement to play team games like pétanque, to volleyball. The magician had some super talents - blown away. Shout out to Too short and her sister Red Bull who have both been so welcoming. Very blessed to have been in town for the Independence Day celebrations. The local marching band and in-house history of dance culture show were fenomenal. The work for the poolside buffet was impressive , and the post disco 🕺 dance hall was great fun and finished with a top notch firework display. The beach location is well equipped with two pools a beautiful beach and everything you need to entertain teenagers little ones and grown up who are young at heart. The whole place is a vibe- the joy of Jamaica 🇯🇲 in every fibre. The hotel staff know how to cater to families and look after them, as the team operate like a family and everyone is so friendly. The food is delicious with a great variety. The authentic local beef patties and coco bread are to die for. Just go easy on the scotch bonnet . Keymank and Onishe make a mean cocktails from the pool bar - work through the menu as they pair well with the glorious sunsets. If you see a deal don’t hesitate to book. We used virgin holidays and the flights service was impeccable.

Fantastic Resort! Great Service & Food!!! Entertainment staff was Amazing! We had a group of 20 and the staff at this resort went above and beyond to make our vacation wonderful! Smiley was incredible everyday at all the activities and Ann Marie was a phenomenal Member Services Ambassador! She made sure every moment was perfect! From the booking, hotel transportation, the welcoming, the massages, kid club, housekeeping, all the restaurants were delicious, all the shows such as the Michael Jackson show, Motown show, the violinist, the fire show, the reggae night, the white night and all the other things, there was never anything bad! What a great vacation! We plan on returning over and over!

Our stay at Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained, with spacious rooms that were always spotless and comfortable. The food exceeded expectations every single day, the buffet had so much variety, and every restaurant we tried was delicious. The Jamaican food, especially the smokehouse and the jamaican resturant (dutchie) was incredible. Jean pierre as a server in the buffet was an amazing server, so polite and bubbly and really made our day. What really made the experience unforgettable was the entertainment team- Wayne, Redbull, and Too short were such a great entertainment team and really kept the fun going everyday. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and hardworking, always making sure guests were having a great time. The entertainment team deserves a special mention because they brought so much energy and fun to the resort every day. From the pool activities to the nightly shows, they kept the atmosphere lively and made everyone feel included. Their positive vibes honestly made the holiday so much more enjoyable. The resort has such a fun and relaxing atmosphere, and it’s the perfect place for both families and couples. I would 100% recommend Iberostar Waves Rose Hall Beach to anyone visiting Jamaica and I can’t wait to come back again. I am definitely coming back.

I recently came back from Iberostar Star Rosehall Waves and had an amazing time. I traveled with my family of over 20 people. I want to shout the people who made it an awesome time. First the ladies on the entertainment team who went a above and beyond to make sure we were entertained Concrete, KayKay, Red Bull, too short and Sparkles. Concrete had such energy and kept the party going. She really made my husband's day everyday "Jimmmmmy!". Daniel in the buffet was very kind and easy to talk with. The entertainment was good but the theater itself needs some work. When it came to food the Jamaican restaurant was the best and the female chef does an amazing job on the oxtail. Camielle in the buffet to good care of us every morning. I will miss her ice vanilla lattes. Aqua man for aqua aerobics was the highlight of my day and kept our energy up. All in all I would go back because they made me feel like family. Thanks for the memories.

This is not a 5 star hotel. I stayed here in June as it was a listed partner of a conference I was attending and was met with dissatisfaction and disappointment throughout my stay. The staff in general are polite (exception being 1 staff member that was in the ice cream shop the day of my arrival) which is why I’m even giving 2 stars instead of 1. The room was fine but the bed throw blanket had what look like old blood stains so thankfully there were 2 beds in my room and I slept on the other. The food was deplorable, I attempted to eat dinner there once from the Italian restaurant (I even tried to order twice in case it was just what I got), the first dish which was a lasagna tasted nasty so I ordered a pizza because who could mess that up? right…I was wrong. Never have I ever seen a pizza with water floating on top of it. I left the pizza there untouched and left the restaurant and vowed to never to eat dinner there again, only decent meal was the breakfast buffet. I tried the food by the pool, the burger was nasty, the jerk chicken and patties were decent but I have deep sanitary doubts about the level of food safety used in this area. I went to the beach (it was clear staff wasn’t tidying up beach chairs that were no longer in use) and I’m accustomed to staying at 5 star hotels where the staff lays out your beach towel on the chair for you, this hotel doesn’t even do that…you have to fetch it from a 4 minutes walk away hut by the pool. After doing so I returned to the beach to lay out and men that aren’t guests kept approaching me and “pssst”ing me so I quickly departed the beach after that. I was counting down the hours to the next morning to be able to check out. I’ve visited Jamaica many times and have never been eager to depart until my stay here.
