A stunning property with unique views! We had amazing archery and stargazing experiences thanks to Arun! He was fantastic - he showed us Venus and the moon's craters through the telescope, and even helped us take breathtaking long-exposure photos with our own phones. I also love that two BMW destination chargers are available on-site. I came in an ICE vehicle this time, but seeing this makes me strongly consider driving an EV next time! The indoor pool is a wonderful addition for those who are sensitive to the sun. Highly recommended, especially in the summer - it is a great opportunity to escape the scorching heat of the UAE and sea-level Oman.

Our stay at Alila Jabal Akhdar was simply unforgettable. First of all, I would like to sincerely thank the entire staff for their fantastic service and remarkable hospitality. I especially remember Marwa, Ati, Setareh, Aaref, Greg, Mirajul, Eyman, Akbar, Honey, the amazing astronomer, and many more (sorry for not remembering every name!). Each person made our stay truly special with their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. I wholeheartedly recommend this magical and magnificent place. The infrastructure is outstanding : from the rooms, lounges, spa, lobby, pools, and water features to every beautifully designed space, all perfectly integrated within breathtaking fairy-tale landscapes. The cuisine is exquisite, offering a wide variety of culinary experiences. The resort also provides many fun activities such as stargazing, via ferrata, archery, and various workshops and experiences. A huge thank you to the entire Team for such an exceptional experience!

Very Disappointing Experience After Driving 2.5 Hours from Muscat We drove approximately 2.5 hours all the way from Muscat specifically to visit this property, so this experience was extremely disappointing. Having travelled to 44 countries around the world and stayed at many hotels and resorts, I was genuinely surprised by the policy we encountered here. We wanted the opportunity to visit the hotel and experience it through a day pass before deciding whether to book a full stay. My wife is seven months pregnant, and one of the main reasons we made the long journey was to experience the yoga/sunshine session and spend some relaxing time at the property. Unfortunately, we were not even allowed to enter or purchase a day pass. After driving 2.5 hours, we expected at least some understanding or a reasonable option for visitors interested in experiencing the property before committing to a full stay. Instead, we were simply turned away. For a hospitality property, especially one that attracts guests travelling from Muscat and other areas, I believe the visitor policy should be communicated much more clearly in advance. Had we known that there was absolutely no possibility of entry or a day pass, we would never have made such a long journey. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a relaxing experience for my pregnant wife turned into a very disappointing and frustrating trip.

Very disappointing experience. I had booked an afternoon tea in advance and even called the hotel beforehand to confirm. We drove all the way from Nizwa specifically for this booking, as I wanted my group to experience the hotel, its beautiful views, and location. However, when we arrived, we were told that the reservation was only available for hotel guests, and we were not even allowed to enter the hotel. What made this even more frustrating is that we had received a booking confirmation just one day before our visit. If afternoon tea was restricted to hotel guests, this should have been clearly communicated when I called or before the reservation was confirmed. I asked to speak with the hotel manager to understand what had happened and hopefully resolve the situation. I was then told that because it was Saturday, there was no hotel manager available. I found this very surprising for a hotel of this standard, especially when there was an issue that required management attention. We wasted a significant amount of time driving all the way from Nizwa only to be turned away at the entrance. It was also embarrassing, as I had recommended the hotel to my group and brought everyone there expecting them to have a great experience. I have been a regular customer of this hotel in the past, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Unfortunately, after the way this situation was handled, I don’t think I will return. The rest of the group also left with a very negative impression of the hotel. A hotel of this standard should have much better communication, reservation management, and customer service.

An incredible place to truly unwind and find peace. ❤️ Everything about Alila feels special. Every detail: from the rooms and lobby to the stairways, pool, and restaurant has been thoughtfully designed. We enjoyed a wonderful dinner, breakfast, and lunch, as well as a relaxing massage and so calming sound healing session. Walking along the Butterfly Trail was another unforgettable experience. The view from the cliff is simply breathtaking 😍 This resort stands out from every other hotel I’ve visited. A heartfelt thank you to every member of the Alila team for your warm welcome and exceptional hospitality. Thank you for such memorable experience!
