Iftar at The Kitchen – Kempinski We came for Iftar at The Kitchen and had a lovely evening overall. The ambiance is absolutely beautiful very elegant and perfect for a relaxed Ramadan gathering. We had a hiccup once we arrived as we didn’t like where we were seated. The hostess was not very flexible even though we booked days in advance and arrived early. Otherwise, the service was excellent. A special thank you to our waiter, Maity, who was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. And a thumbs up to Chef Ander who is always great and accommodating. Unfortunately, while the presentation and variety of cuisines were good, the food itself lacked flavor, which was a bit disappointing considering the reputation of the hotel. The quality was there, but many dishes felt under-seasoned and could have been more flavorful. Overall, a wonderful atmosphere and outstanding service, but the food could definitely be improved.

We had a wonderful stay at the Kempinski Hotel in Oman and would like to sincerely thank the amazing staff. At the pool, Abbas, Durai, Belal, and Leslie were absolutely fantastic – always helpful, attentive, and providing 1A service, both at the pool and the pool bar. They truly made us feel comfortable and well taken care of. Our room was always kept perfectly clean and beautifully decorated by Rajeshwar. We especially appreciated the lovely decorations and the fact that all the necessary equipment for our baby was provided. Gangarao also contributed a lot to making our stay so comfortable. At the Kitchen restaurant, we were always warmly welcomed by the manager, Anit Kumar, and felt very well looked after from the very beginning. The service was excellent, and Angel also took great care of us with kindness and professionalism. A big thank you as well to Jamie, the hotel manager, who advised us very well and was always professional, warm, and helpful. We would also like to mention Vaplanda, the “Lady in Red” – she was always present, attentive, and simply wonderful. Overall, this hotel is outstanding. This was already our second stay here, and we will definitely return, as everything was absolutely perfect. Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel and facilities. There is nothing to not like about this place. The rooms are lovely and large, the whole place is impeccably clean, and the pool/beach are very relaxing. The restaurants are also excellent and not extortionate. The service provided by all the staff is first rate, nothing is too much trouble and they are happy to serve you. A special mention to Abbas who helped with the sun loungers and towels on the beach, he is a credit to the hotel. Also to Inka at the front desk of Zale and The Kitchen for her amazingly warm service and greetings each day. And to Jay at The Kitchen for serving us breakfast with a smile. There are lots of other staff who are just first rate including in the gym and the restaurants. It’s a truly great hotel with cheerful lovely staff. We chose this hotel over the St Regis and Mandarin Oriental for its mix of facilities, private beach and service. We have been delighted by it. Highly recommended.

We arrived for early dinner and the atmosphere was great when the place filled with families and diners. We had wonderful hosts and although the food that arrived was initially not what we ordered (mango salad) the salad we did get was delicious. The green Thai chicken curry was among the best, if not The Best, we have ever had. The fish main was fried fish with tamarind sauce. Beautifully presented, wonderful authentic flavours and professionally attended to. Definite recommended to all family and friends. Our 5 year old was having a moment and did not want to come in. The ladies took all the pressure off parents and were attentive, spoke playfully and were kind to bring him food and coloring that helped him settle.
