I stayed at the Sheraton Muscat for three nights during a family wedding, and while the hotel itself was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfect for a relaxed stay, what truly stood out was the exceptional service provided by Murtaza Merchant, the Head Service Associate. Throughout our stay, Murtaza ensured that every experience — from in-room dining orders and late-night snacks to our daily lunches at the restaurant — was handled with remarkable warmth and professionalism. He personally looked after every request with genuine care and attention. One gesture I really appreciated was when he prepared a special lemon iced tea for me — and I honestly have to say it was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s thoughtful touches like these that make a hotel stay feel personal. Across the three days of wedding events, the schedule was busy and unpredictable, yet Murtaza remained consistently calm, accommodating, and committed to making sure everything ran smoothly for us. He checked on us regularly without being intrusive, anticipated what we might need at the table, and made sure every detail was taken care of. His friendly nature, positive attitude, and sincere dedication truly set him apart. Outside the events, the hotel rooms were comfortable, clean, and fully functional. The staff across the property were welcoming, and the overall stay at Sheraton Muscat was excellent. I genuinely recommend the Sheraton Muscat to anyone visiting the city. And a special mention once again to Murtaza, whose hospitality and attentiveness made our stay extra memorable. His service deserves to be recognised and appreciated

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, and I want to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team for their warm hospitality. The rooms, cleanliness, and overall ambiance made the experience truly comfortable, but what stood out the most was the exceptional service at the restaurant. A special thank you to Talal, Chef Krishna, and Rashid for their attentiveness, welcoming attitude, and genuine care. They consistently went above and beyond to ensure every meal was delightful. Their professionalism, polite demeanour, and friendly smiles added a personal touch that made my stay memorable. Thank you to the entire team for making me feel at home. I look forward to visiting again!

Peaceful and tranquil—you’d never believe you’re right in the middle of Ruwi. The swimming pool feels like a hidden oasis, perfect for unwinding. Food and beverage offerings are excellent, and the chicken quesadilla was absolutely amazing. A fantastic spot to relax and recharge!

The stay at the hotel was absolutely wonderful and mainly due to the staf who are so helpfull and welcoming. The rooms were also very clean and comfortable. Every morning at breakfast we were being welcomed/greeted by Agnes with her beautifull smile and always very welcoming. Mohamed and Susan were also excellent. Always very helpfull and even remembered what we liked to drink. On top of that gave us great tips to eat and visit. They were truly so kind. They always greeted you with a smile. We cant forget of course the food that has been taken care of by Darif. My complements. Lastly a big thanks to Venu who took care of our room. Anything we needed he would take care of it. Also big thanks to Suresh as he is also responsible for the rooms. The staff is absolutely excellent. They truly take care of you and always Greet you with a wonderfull smile. I cant wait to visit Muscat again and stay at the Sheraton hotel.

We had a conference in this hotel and the staff tried their level best to respond to every request we asked for prior to the event especially Yara the event planner who stayed attentive throughout the journey of the conference and worked day and night with us during the conference days. I truly appreciate every help she offered and support. When to comes to the catering we had a delicious choices and lots of varieties throughout the events (3 days). Chef Ehab who followed up every thing and made sure we were satisfied with the quality of food they offered. Everyone enjoyed the Omani food night that had at least three live stations and many delicious dishes, also special thanks to chef Jaffer who provided a nice range of salads. We also had coffee breaks in between the conference sessions and Zahida was very attentive and genuinely helpful in every request. Truly Amazing staff and great service. Highly recommended to stay in and host any event.
