Stayed here September 2025. Staff were excellent. Room was nice overlooking the pool/ beach clean & well maintained. Pool was nice. Gym was really good & had a sauna/steam decent showers. Overall a great stay. One night to Turkish House Restaurant for dinner nearby recommendation via the big guy at the front desk it was excellent! Taxi to and from the airport did t take long and not expensive.

We have been to The Chedi five times now, and it is always wonderful. The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is very attentive, and you can relax in peace. The pool is a dream, the beach service (by Mr. Pandijan) is excellent, and the restaurants are very lovely. The service is really outstanding! I would like to mention Mr. Hani working at the reception and say thank your for his assistance. We can highly recommend The Chedi and are already looking forward to returning there in the autumn 2026.

Our stay at The Chedi was truly wonderful. The entire hotel complex is stunning. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast buffet was exceptional as well, offering a great variety of fresh, high-quality dishes. The only disappointment during our stay was our visit to the restaurant The Beach. As mentioned in my separate review, the food quality and presentation did not justify the high prices, which was surprising given the outstanding standard of the rest of the hotel. Despite that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Chedi and loved our overall experience. We would absolutely return and can highly recommend the hotel itself.

Travelling to Muscat with my wife for pleasure, it has been a real delight staying at this hotel. From the warm welcome we received right the way through to to the departure, it has been top class. The (deluxe) rooms are spacious and clean and have all the required amenities. The bathroom area consists of twin sinks, a separate wet room space with a rainfall shower and space with a separate toilet and bidet. I just wish the shower room had a seperate standard shower head and hose but it wasn't a big issue. There is a seating area in the room with a TV although there are not many English speaking channels. Soft drinks and water are complimentary but alcoholic beverages and snacks are chargeable. There are three pools in the hotel to choose from including a 103 metre infinity pool that heads towards the sea. There are seperate male and female changing rooms and separate saunas and showers for ladies and gentlemen. There is also a gym and a spa which my wife and I had a relaxing Balinese massage. There is a private beach with shelter tents should you wish to be shaded whilst on the beach. There is a restaurant which is also the breakfast room.There is an outdoor area to sit and eat during the cooler months. Breakfast choice is vast, one of the widest range I have seen and covers almost every cuisine from European to Far Eastern. The outdoor area can get busy during breakfast period although I did see an outdoor area that was unused and wondered why they couldn't have fitted a few tables. Service from staff was great ( thank you Simon) and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel did have a cafe with indoor and outdoor areas in the gardens which was lit wonderfully for an evening drink during the cooler months. Some nights there was music from local Omanis musicians playing traditional instruments which was delightful. I've travelled to many places and stayed at many hotels, both for work and pleasure, but The Chedi has set a new level and is now one of my favourites to stay in. I just hope they maintain this level of quality and service in the years to come. Thank you to everyone at The Chedi for making our stay so memorable.

We enjoyed our stay at The Chedi Muscat. The pool area, gym and restaurants were very good. The beach was OK. Also we were not that satisfied with our room due to noise and the smell of food in the evening. Next time we know to book one of the villas. The staff was very accommodating and very friendly. The grounds were truly beautiful.
