Our family vacation at Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort was exceptional. Traveling with grown‑up kids, we were looking for a place that balanced relaxation, activities, and a bit of luxury for everyone — and Anantara Dhigu delivered perfectly. The overwater villa was spacious and beautifully designed, giving each of us enough privacy while still feeling connected. Waking up to the lagoon every morning was a highlight, and having direct access to the water made it easy for all of us to enjoy snorkeling and swimming at our own pace. The food across the resort was consistently excellent, with a wide variety that suited everyone’s tastes. We especially enjoyed the dinners at Sea.Fire.Salt, where the staff made the experience feel personal and memorable. What stood out most was how well the resort caters to families with adult children. There were plenty of activities we could enjoy together — kayaking, paddleboarding, sunset cruises — without feeling restricted to “kids’ activities.” The lagoon is calm and safe, making it perfect for relaxed water time without any stress. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our stay special. Their hospitality elevated the entire experience. Anantara Dhigu is an ideal choice for families traveling with grown‑up kids who want a mix of luxury, comfort, and shared experiences. We left with beautiful memories and would happily return.

Booked sunset view villa for two nights. This was a heavenly experience from beginning to end. The staff were all very friendly, service oriented, and go the extra mile. The villa was clean, spacious, private and luxurious. I loved the outdoor bathroom. I can’t get over how many shades of turquoise I could see on the beach. We were able to see wonderful marine wildlife including needlefish, sting rays, sharks, and one million kinds of colorful fish. The jungle wildlife was also lovely—we saw chameleons, bats, and various species of birds. Breakfast and dinner at Fushi cafe were both delicious and varied. I tried the massage at the spa—my head rest area allowed me to have a birds eye view of the shallow water so I was able to meditate on fish while the massage was going on. I would have loved it if the spa was not mixed though! Booked a private snorkeling experience with Betty which was awesome. Very Arab friendly and child friendly place !

We really enjoyed our stay at Anantara Dhigu and had an amazing family holiday. The food was excellent, particularly the breakfast and dinner, and our room was beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. The resort offers plenty of thoughtful extras and activities. During our stay, we enjoyed the complimentary bicycles, the excellent kids’ club and a photo session. The Beach Guru was also a lovely touch—having fresh coconuts prepared for us on the beach was one of those simple but memorable holiday experiences. The sunset side is considered the more premium side of the island, although it was noticeably windier during our visit in July. The sunrise side has a calmer, more sheltered lagoon, but there is some passing boat traffic. One thing to be aware of is that the island does not have an easily accessible house reef directly offshore. You can still snorkel in the lagoon, but for the best coral and marine life, you will need to join a boat excursion. Overall, Anantara Dhigu is a beautiful, welcoming and very family-friendly resort. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

Maldives has always been one of our favourite destinations, and we finally had the opportunity to visit last July. Choosing Anantara Dhigu was absolutely worth it—the resort is even more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The stunning lagoon and beautiful sunset views made our stay truly unforgettable. What makes this place really special, however, is the dedicated and warm-hearted staff. From the moment we arrived at the airport until our departure, everyone greeted us with a genuine smile and treated us with great kindness and professionalism. A special thank you to our host, Kadir, who has such a great personality and a very positive attitude. He was always ready to assist us throughout our stay. Whenever we needed anything, he was attentive, responsive, and incredibly helpful. We also loved the dining options. Sea.Fire.Salt was our favourite restaurant on the island, and we really enjoyed Origami as well. With seven restaurants, there are plenty of choices for every taste. We had a wonderful and memorable experience at Anantara Dhigu and will definitely be back with our family next time. Highly recommended!

The resort is beautiful and peaceful, with the lagoon's water color being particularly impressive. The villa is spacious, clean, and offers a sense of privacy. I especially loved being able to take a boat over to Anantara Veli for dining and a change of scenery. The staff were friendly and attentive, and everything was organized very professionally. Dhigu is a great choice if you are looking for a Maldives experience that combines relaxation with plenty of activities.
