Our stay at Anantara Maia Seychelles Villas was truly an unforgettable experience. The location on Mahé Island is absolutely breathtaking — incredibly beautiful and only about 30 minutes from the airport. It is a place where the only sounds you hear are birds, waves, and nature itself. No noise, no distractions — just pure serenity. You truly feel intoxicated by the peace and the view. We stayed in a magnificent private pool villa. The cleanliness, the quality of the facilities, and the attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. The cuisine was exceptional. Every single dish we experienced was refined, thoughtfully prepared, and a true pleasure. The atmosphere throughout the resort was calm and tranquil — at times we genuinely felt like we were in paradise. Our heartfelt thanks to the entire team who made this extraordinary experience possible. Special appreciation to Food & Beverage Manager Mr. Meriç Erdeviren, to our wonderful butler Dian for her constant care, attention to every detail, and warm smile, and to Mike at the beach who thoughtfully ensured our comfort at all times. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us — one we will never forget.

Firstly, wanted to note how good hotel is located. Villa's are opening you the picturesque view of Seychelles beach and mountains. Want to notice the great service work of villas assistant Nady, who made our vacation absolutely unique and unpretentious. Thanks to him, all the questions, problems were solved (they actually rarely happened). He organized several wonderful evening lunches. Also want to pay attention to the Hotel Manager Gabrielle Porru and thank him for the beautiful organization of the hotel work and client service. 👏

Beautiful hotel, really lovely staff. We spent a wonderful week here over New Year and it didn’t disappoint. Our room had a fantastic view and was very private. Our own pool, outdoor bath, and the room was spacious and clean. Pack spray for anti-mosquitoes! One area for improvement - while the staff were very accommodating and willing to help, the food service in the restaurant and to the room was very slow. Luckily, this didn’t impact us too much so we still had the most fantastic time!

Unfortunately, our stay at this resort did not meet the expectations set by its pricing. The property is clearly old and in need of major renovation. Doors do not open properly, bathroom and sink drains are malfunctioning, and one of them even caused flooding in the bathroom. Throughout the property there are visible signs of wear and tear, accompanied by a persistent musty, old smell. The floors are squeaky, further reinforcing the feeling of an outdated and poorly maintained resort. The pool area also raises safety concerns, with exposed lights and visible wiring, which does not feel safe—especially for a resort that presents itself as luxury. Dining options are extremely limited: there is only one restaurant, with a poor quality of the ingredients. The coffee quality is also poor, well below what one would expect at this price point. The resort itself is very small, with very little to do on-site, making the stay feel quite monotonous, particularly for longer visits. The only truly positive aspect was the staff, especially Laxman, who took excellent care of us and genuinely tried to make our stay pleasant. The butler service is helpful and well-intentioned, but cannot compensate for the overall shortcomings of the property. Overall, this resort is significantly overpriced for what it offers. Prices should be reconsidered and reduced by at least half to reflect the actual experience. There are many properties on Mahé Island at similar prices that are vastly superior in terms of quality, comfort, and value.

Hey there all travelers! We have choosed Anantara Maia for our honeymoon and we are so thankful that we did. When we were booking it we were a little bit sceptical about the “ villa host “ thing but once we have arrived it completely changed our view. We were hosted and assisted by two amazing guys: Sisca and Ari. We can’t be more grateful to those two because they simply made our stay magnificent! They were always for us no matter what we wanted! They are the ones that made it so unique! If you guys have second thoughts about choosing it, don’t! Just go and spend a week or more in that place of heaven! Enjoy!
