We recently stayed at Banana Island Resort and had a wonderful experience. It's easily one of the best beach resorts we've visited in Qatar. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay memorable. We booked the half-board package, and the food exceeded our expectations. The dishes at Al Nahham Restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were surprisingly generous. The breakfast buffet at Azraq Restaurant was also excellent, with plenty of tasty options to choose from every morning. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely sea view, which made it even more relaxing. The whole island has a peaceful atmosphere and is a great place to unwind. The only thing to keep in mind is that during the summer months, it can be quite hot to spend time on the beach in the afternoon. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Banana Island Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Amazing experience! The staff are super accommodating and friendly, looked after our every need. Truly feels like a far away island escape but it’s just 30mins away from Doha. The spa offers THE BEST massage! Whenever we want to get away from the city life we come here! Attention to detail and lots of activities for the children as they have bowling cinema etc on site.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Banana Island resort by Anantara. We spent 4 nights in one of the private villas, traveling with two adults and our two young children (1 and 3 years old). There was more than enough to keep them happy and entertained throughout our stay. The small water park, adventure park, very large kids club, playground, and many other activities made it a perfect destination for families. We were also fortunate to have a personal butler, Mr. Muthu, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The same goes for Destiny both of them were extremely involved from beginning to end and handled all our additional requests with great care and professionalism. They truly deserve a lot of credit! In addition, we would like to thank the colleagues who drove us from our villa to the restaurants. Ahmet, Elisha, and Andrew were always friendly, open for a chat, and made every ride enjoyable. A special thanks also to Thusandra for his outstanding service at Al Nahm restaurant, which we personally found to be the best restaurant on the island. His service was truly top-notch. We will definitely return during our next visit to Qatar!

He helped me with the bicycle and showed great initiative by reminding me of some belongings I had forgotten. ‏3-Ruth: Her positive energy and constant smile are infectious! She is very cooperative and has a way of making you feel genuinely happy and welcomed. ‏4-Mubarak: He was very welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated how he engaged in friendly conversation and shared interesting information with me. ‏5-Jafar: A very supportive and cooperative team member who was always ready to assist. ‏The hospitality here is top-notch, and these individuals made my visit much more enjoyable. We recently stayed at Banana Island to celebrate my husband’s 30th birthday, and it was truly a memorable experience. We met Alessia over breakfast and had a lovely conversation with her, which made us feel so welcome. Her warm personality and excellent service added such a personal touch to our stay and made us feel genuinely valued as guests. We also had the pleasure of dining at Al Nahham Restaurant twice, and both experiences were outstanding. The food was exceptional, the service was impeccable, and without a doubt, they served the best kunafa we have had in Qatar! It was definitely one of the highlights of our visit. During our stay, we experienced an issue with the air conditioning in our room. However, Swathi handled the situation with amazing professionalism and efficiency. Her prompt response and excellent customer service turned what could have been an inconvenience into a very positive experience. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would like to thank the team for helping make my husband’s birthday celebration so special. We look forward to returning in the future!
