We recently stayed at Banana Island Resort and had a wonderful experience. It's easily one of the best beach resorts we've visited in Qatar. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality really made our stay memorable. We booked the half-board package, and the food exceeded our expectations. The dishes at Al Nahham Restaurant were absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes were surprisingly generous. The breakfast buffet at Azraq Restaurant was also excellent, with plenty of tasty options to choose from every morning. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had a lovely sea view, which made it even more relaxing. The whole island has a peaceful atmosphere and is a great place to unwind. The only thing to keep in mind is that during the summer months, it can be quite hot to spend time on the beach in the afternoon. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Overall, we had a great stay and would happily recommend Banana Island Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway.

Only one word can describe this resort: Perfection. Everyone at the resort genuinely goes above and beyond to make your stay exceptional. From the reception team, drivers, bellmen, waiters, room service, and the Kids Club staff—every single person, without exception, delivers outstanding service with a smile. I was truly amazed by the level of hospitality. I have stayed at many hotels and resorts, but this experience was on a completely different level. Others are a million miles away from the service provided here. A very special thank you to Rachael and Thane from Reception for the beautiful anniversary surprise, arranging our late check-out, and making our celebration even more memorable. I also want to thank the wonderful Kids Club team—Vivian, Nadeera, and Faith—for their kindness, warmth, and the amazing care they showed. This resort has set a new benchmark for hospitality. I will definitely be back every year to celebrate our anniversary here.

Amazing experience! The staff are super accommodating and friendly, looked after our every need. Truly feels like a far away island escape but it’s just 30mins away from Doha. The spa offers THE BEST massage! Whenever we want to get away from the city life we come here! Attention to detail and lots of activities for the children as they have bowling cinema etc on site.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Banana Island resort by Anantara. We spent 4 nights in one of the private villas, traveling with two adults and our two young children (1 and 3 years old). There was more than enough to keep them happy and entertained throughout our stay. The small water park, adventure park, very large kids club, playground, and many other activities made it a perfect destination for families. We were also fortunate to have a personal butler, Mr. Muthu, who was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to make our stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible. The same goes for Destiny both of them were extremely involved from beginning to end and handled all our additional requests with great care and professionalism. They truly deserve a lot of credit! In addition, we would like to thank the colleagues who drove us from our villa to the restaurants. Ahmet, Elisha, and Andrew were always friendly, open for a chat, and made every ride enjoyable. A special thanks also to Thusandra for his outstanding service at Al Nahm restaurant, which we personally found to be the best restaurant on the island. His service was truly top-notch. We will definitely return during our next visit to Qatar!

As the golf cart driver, he was very efficient and knowledgeable. She is very cooperative and has a way of making you feel genuinely happy and welcomed. ‏4-Mubarak: He was very welcoming and helpful.
