We had a wonderful family stay at Barceló Mussanah Resort from 16 to 17 October, and one person who truly made our experience extra special was Sumit, the pool safety guide. Sumit went far beyond his duties to ensure that we were comfortable and enjoying our time at the pool. He was always smiling, approachable, friendly, and attentive to our needs. When we wanted a milkshake for my son and the bar staff were unavailable, he personally walked all the way to the restaurant and arranged for the waiters to come and take our orders while we were still enjoying the pool. His excellent customer service, genuine care, charming personality, and willingness to go the extra mile made a real difference to our family’s experience. It is rare to come across someone who performs his duties with such professionalism while also making guests feel so welcome and valued. Sumit is a real asset to the resort, and his excellent service deserves recognition. I sincerely hope the management appreciates his dedication and positive attitude. Thank you, Sumit, for helping make our family stay so enjoyable, fun, and relaxing. Keep up the fantastic work!

Our stay at Barceló Mussanah Resort is absolutely perfect. If you’re looking for the ideal place to stay near Muscat while enjoying everything the Gulf of Oman has to offer, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more. One of its biggest advantages is the marina, which gives you direct access to so many water activities and unforgettable excursions. A special thank you to Abdullah Heidar and Ahmed Nofli, who took us on an incredible trip to the Daymaniyat Islands. It was truly one of the highlights of our stay. They are exceptionally professional, friendly, reassuring, and incredibly flexible. They did everything they could to make sure we had the best possible experience, including giving us the opportunity to swim with sea turtles in a respectful and safe way. Throughout the excursion, we always felt completely safe thanks to their professionalism and attention to every detail. They also prepared a delicious snack on board, which made the experience even more enjoyable. They patiently answered all of our many questions with genuine enthusiasm and shared their knowledge of the islands and marine life. Their kindness and passion made this excursion unforgettable. More generally, I don’t know if this reflects Omani culture as a whole, but throughout our stay we were impressed by the kindness of the Omani people, their patience, their generosity with their time, and their genuine sense of hospitality and customer care. It made us feel truly welcome. Thank you for creating such wonderful memories. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend both this hotel and the Daymaniyat Islands excursion to anyone visiting Oman!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel! The place was peaceful, quiet, and relaxing—perfect for anyone looking to escape the busy routine and simply enjoy some quality time. We especially loved that we were able to enjoy the facilities comfortably and have a sense of privacy, which made our stay even more special. A special mention to our driver, Khalid who was absolutely the best! He was very kind, friendly, helpful, and made our experience even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! The room was comfortable, the staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What made our experience even more special was the activities organized by the hotel staff. My kids had so much fun participating in them and really enjoyed every moment.
