I am lying by the pool enjoying the last few hours of Egyptian sun before flying home and wanted to give my honest opinion of our first visit to Egypt...... we have absolutely LOVED it! The hotel is very clean and the staff work extremely hard. Our housekeeper in block 6 was incredible and we enjoyed coming back to our room to find out how our towels were arranged each day. The waiting and bar staff are amazing and always greet with you a smile. Nothing is too much trouble for them. The animation team work extremely hard, however I do feel that they should try to let guests know in advance of events happening such as the pool party, colour parties etc. To us it felt last minute, telling people that an event was happening in 10 minutes. The reception team were helpful the majority of the time. I do feel upon check-in, they should make you aware of the restaurant opening times and where to find the activities board (both are outside the buffet restaurant). Maybe a small information leaflet and resort map to give guest upon arrival could be produced, I certainly would have appreciated that. I understand why there are complaints about the food, it does get repetitive and some of the food isn't to everyone's tastes, we always found something to eat other than pizza and chips and enjoyed the majority of dishes we enjoyed. We tried 2 of the a la carte restaurant while here, my favourite was the Indian and my children enjoyed the Italian - even though the food felt rushed in there. We hadn't finished out starters and they were already bringing our mains out! We also didn't realise until another guest told us 9 days into our holiday that the Mexican restaurant was open for breakfast and lunch, it was certainly less chaotic and quieter than the main buffet restaurant and a different selection of food. Again, this is something I feel the reception staff should share on arrival. Spa - we booked spa treatments and really enjoyed the massages and use of the spa facilities. Bars - again it was almost a week into our holiday before we discovered where the sports bar and Charmillon pub were, both were good and quieter than the terrace bar. A point to note for the Charmillion pub, they do not serve cocktails and you can only have 2 drinks free (spirits and mixers). Unfortunately, the piano bar wasn't ope during our visit. Pools - my children loved all the pools and water slides. To be honest, it was a battle to get them out of the water to put cream on. All of the pools/slides have competent lifeguards who are very friendly and make the slides even more fun for children. Trips - for the majoirty of our trips we used Dazzling Excursions Egypt and couldn't recommend Faras and his team highly enough. We loved the full day boat trip to the White Island and his prices and communication were both excellent. Visiting Soho Square is a MUST. You can book a taxi at reception. All in all, we have had a fabulous 2 weeks at the Charmillion and would definitely recommend. We will be back x

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean, the food offered a great variety, and the staff were always friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to the entertainment team for making every day so much fun with their energy and enthusiasm. They organized fantastic activities for both adults and children, creating a great atmosphere throughout our stay. A very special mention goes to Bassant, who was absolutely amazing. She was always smiling, kind, and full of positive energy. She made everyone feel included and went above and beyond to ensure guests had a great time. Her professionalism and warmth truly made our vacation even more memorable. Thank you to the entire team, we would definitely love to come back!

We had a fantastic stay at Charmillion Club Aqua Park and would definitely recommend it, especially for families. The hotel was clean and well maintained, the rooms were comfortable, and the whole resort had a lovely relaxed atmosphere. The aqua park was brilliant and kept the children entertained for hours, with plenty of pools and slides for different ages. The staff throughout the hotel were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help. There was a good variety of food and we always found something we enjoyed. Overall, we had a really enjoyable holiday and felt very well looked after. Great value, excellent facilities and a wonderful place for a family break in Sharm El Sheikh. We would happily return again.

Where do I start? This has been a true 5-star holiday and, without a doubt, the best family holiday we have ever had! Firstly, I would like to give a massive shout-out to Ziad, the lifeguard, who absolutely made our holiday. He is hands down the best lifeguard the hotel has and is a real credit to the team. He interacted with everyone, always had a welcoming smile on his face, and genuinely made every day more enjoyable. We will miss him so much! He is one of the main reasons we want to return, and we're already planning to come back in the first week of April. I would also like to mention Nady, who worked at the bar. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him. He always went above and beyond to help our large group find somewhere to sit, brought drinks over to us, and greeted us with a huge smile every single day. His customer service was exceptional. A special thank you also goes to the head chef. I'm a very fussy eater, and he went out of his way to personally prepare meals for me in the evenings so I never went hungry. That level of care and attention meant so much. The cleaning manager and the housekeeping team for Block B9 also deserve recognition. They went above and beyond to keep our room spotless and ensure we had a comfortable stay. We had a slight hiccup with our room when we first arrived, but as soon as we reported it, it was dealt with immediately. They then checked in with us every day to make sure everything was okay, which was greatly appreciated. The only slight negative during our stay was some of the reception staff. Around 70% of the time I visited reception, I was asked to come back in an hour or at another time. By the end of the holiday, this did become a little frustrating. Overall, though, this was a fantastic holiday from start to finish. The outstanding staff, amazing service, and wonderful atmosphere made it a holiday we'll never forget. We can't wait to return in April!

The hotel’s location is very conveniently close to the airport, a bit far from downtown though. Overall our experience there was good, had a nice vacation, very family oriented and wonderful place for families with kids. The aqua park was great and lots of fun for both adults and children. The food is good but has great room for excellence and could use more variety or theme nights like the Italian themed night. Overall would recommend for any family looking for a good time for both adults and their children.
