This post is longer overdue. March 2022 - we stayed here on our honeymoon it was wonderful. At the time the resort had only been open for 3 months. Service was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful. The food service and selection was great! We even got them to cook us up authentic fish dishes so we could try! We loved the coffee bar I was up at 5am every morning to watch the sharks swim under our balcony before heading over to the coffee shop for our daily affogato. We got to have dinner and sunset one night It was very romantic! We had an over the water Villa, one night we came home to rose pedals a bottle of champagne and chocolates, also a drawn bath for me ! We felt so special and thought that was such a sweet offering from the staff. We had massages one day and I’m not lying it was one of the best I have ever had very relaxing! Highly recommended ! We didn’t do any of the excursions except for the sunset cruise which was perfect to our last night at the resort. The sunsets and sunrises here are amazing! Thank you to everyone who made our trip everything we couldn’t have expected and more!

The hotel is like a slice of paradise, with stunning turquoise waters, white sandy beaches, and luxurious overwater villas that made my experience unforgettable. Every detail has been meticulously crafted to provide guests with the ultimate relaxation in this tropical haven. A special shout-out to Riad from My Coffee, whose warm hospitality truly enhanced my journey. His passion for coffee and care of the guests shone through in every cup the prepared, creating an inviting atmosphere that made each visit to the cafe a highlight of my day. I felt genuinely welcomed and looked after, and it was clear that he takes pride in his work. Every moment here felt like it was designed for the enjoyment of life. I cant wait for the opportunity to return to Cora Cora and savor Riad's delicious coffee again!

The spa area at CORACORA Maldives is a true paradise of relaxation and well-being. A very special thank-you goes to June, who made my stay unforgettable. I enjoyed several different massages with her, and each one was absolutely outstanding. June works with incredible professionalism, sensitivity, and a calming presence that immediately inspires trust. Every treatment was a highlight and left me deeply impressed. The morning yoga sessions led by June were also a gift for both body and soul – varied, mindful, and simply beautiful. I would also like to highlight the daily sound healing therapy, which she conducts with so much dedication. These experiences were not only relaxing and restorative, but genuinely moving. Everyone should make sure to try them. June is an exceptionally professional, friendly, and warm-hearted person. Her energy and kindness make every spa visit truly special. We spent New Year's Eve 2026 at the stunning Cora Cora resort and I must say, it comes highly recommended! Every aspect of our stay was top-notch, from the accommodations and food to the beautiful island itself. However, it was the exceptional staff that truly made our vacation unforgettable. Eric, the manager, and his team went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. Special thanks to Maniu, our butler, Aki and Siba from the kids club, Hsu, Aru, and Ashi from Tazza restaurant, Ruf from Aquapaza, Firu from the airport lounge, and Mohamed for finding Mantu for us. The Maldives is a paradise both inside and out, and the Cora Cora staff truly made it a once-in-a-lifetime experience. We highly recommend this resort and hope to visit again soon. 1. Accommodation and Facilities The standard of the rooms, overall atmosphere, and environmental hygiene was commendable, being both clean and comfortable. Staff interactions were generally positive. While the resort is compact in scale, its core facilities are adequate for a stay of three to four days. 2. Airport Transfer: Significant Operational Failure The seaplane transfer arrangement was wholly unsatisfactory and constituted a considerable waste of both time and money. Although we arrived in Malé City a full day prior to our scheduled departure and were initially advised by the travel agent of a transfer window between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., we were later informed upon arrival that the transfer would take place at 2:20 p.m. We then experienced an extensive delay and were not boarded until 3:30 p.m. the following day, ultimately arriving at the resort at 4:30 p.m. Such a lack of punctuality and coordination is unacceptable for a property of this standing. 3. Dining Experience: Lack of Variety and Quality Control Although the general quality of the food was acceptable, the dining options were notably limited. Despite the presence of four restaurants, the menu offering remained identical across all venues on a daily basis. Breakfast was restricted to a single venue, while only two restaurants were operational for lunch. In addition, all restaurant bookings were pre‑assigned. Although guests were given the option to request a change, the two most sought‑after venues (Teien and Tazaa) were fully booked, leaving no meaningful choice despite the limited number of restaurants available. 4. Japanese Restaurant (Teien): Substandard Offering The experience at Teien, the Japanese restaurant, was particularly disappointing. The salmon sashimi was not fresh, was served at an inadequate temperature, and was cut excessively thin—well below the standard expected for this cuisine. Service speed further detracted from the experience. 5. Service Responsiveness and Oversight Throughout our stay, several issues were met with inaction or inadequate follow-through: · A report made at approximately 10:30 p.m. regarding the absence of hot water in the bathtub was not addressed. · A subsequent request for assistance through the Freedom Coach service also failed to result in any meaningful resolution. · At check-out, a serious lapse in security and guest services was observed: our handbags were left unattended at the reception desk while our luggage had already been forwarded to the departure lounge. Conclusion Collectively, these experiences fell significantly short of the standards reasonably expected of a five-star resort. I trust this feedback will be taken seriously and used constructively to address the operational and service deficiencies encountered.
