Had a truly wonderful stay here. Had booked it for my husband's birthday but upon check in there was no acknowledgement of this which would have been a nice touch. Booked a sea view room but was given a bungalow which online was showing as a cheaper price. Challenged staff about this but got no resolution. Buffet restaurant was decent- great variety for all meals. Loved the poolside restaurant which did lunchtime gyros. The baby room was great- the lady working there was super lovely. Well equipped room so you don't even need to pack any toys. Water park is great for older kids and adults. The terra pool was busy as it was the only heated one so the hotel could do with having a couple of heated pools. I also sat by the bar by myself on a couple of occasions and wasn't offered a drink- this only happened when I sat with my husband which I found quite offensive. On one occasion I even asked a waiter if i could order a drink and he said oh I'll get someone to take your order- it took so long that I left and didn't get a drink. There are on site photographers but the photos cost in excess of 500 euros for the set. The music in the evenings was great.

We had a lovely time at Creta Maris. We stayed in the family room as we have two young children, there was plenty of space for us all and the beds were so comfy. There was plenty for the children to do, arcades, baby rooms for playing, play areas etc. The food and drink was lovely with a number of restaurants to eat in. My only feedback here was that it would have been good to have waiters going around the pool areas to take orders as there were queues at the bars (we went in early May so maybe they do that in the summer). I also had two treatments in the spa, a lovely body massage and a facial by Stella, the treatments were gorgeous and really reasonably priced. Evening entertainment was ok, I think this could be better by doing the kids disco every night as it was only on a few times. But still was enough for us. All in all a lovely stay and we would come back :)

Creta Maris is a glorious resort for families. It has everything you could possibly want - myriad pools, restaurants, bars, and activities. The staff are wonderfully welcoming. The rooms are lovely. And the views… 🥹 My son had the best time of his life here, especially the waterpark. We’ve enjoyed ourselves so much we are already planning a return visit next May. Thank you Creta Maria.

Our overall experience at Creta Maris Resort was terrible, and we were genuinely eager for our stay to end so we could move on to our next destination. For a 5-star resort, the quality fell shockingly short. Food & Restaurants: The food was consistently awful. The resort is severely overbooked, making it nearly impossible to get reservations at any of the à la carte restaurants. Most nights we ended up at the buffet, which served the same tasteless dishes on repeat. Definitely not what you expect from a resort of this category. Pool & Facilities: Getting a chair by the pool was impossible unless you woke up at the crack of dawn. Guests were reserving loungers extremely early, and staff did nothing to manage the situation. Customer Service: Customer service was extremely disappointing. I raised my concerns and ended up speaking to three levels of management, yet the only solution they offered was a 50% credit for the stay — which still felt inadequate given the poor experience and the significant issues throughout. For the price and the expectations set by the resort, this stay was far from acceptable. We would not return and would not recommend this property to anyone expecting a genuine 5-star experience.

The hotel its self is nice. HOWEVER you really need to pay attention if you choose a regular badge or adults only! Because if you have regular orange one- you will not be able to have dinning time in the adult zone where is quite. You will eat together with other families with lots of kids where is very noisy!
