Fantastic hotel, in great location. The staff here are brilliant, always smiling and friendly. The maid service is excellent, they keep the place really clean. The food and bar staff are always happy to help and give great service. The chef seems to work day and night, but always has a smile on his face ( try the chicken goujons!!)I would highly recommend this hotel, it’s fab.

Room and property nice overall. But if you were jetlagged like me and looking to get a good night's sleep, it isn't promised. Where my room was I was able to hear the nightly entertainment as if it was in my room. Also the last night I was there I could hear people nonstop howling of laughter til after 1am. It reminded me of an all inclusive party hotel. Not how I expect the vibe to be in a place such as this. Breakfast buffet was decent but tye dinner was absolutely criminal to charge 30 euro for and not even include water. I put my fork down for a minute to read an article on my phone and a man was trying to take my plate lol like sir not everyone shovels food into their mouth. Some people take their time like civilized humans. . Awk af

It was okay the hotel is a 4 star. But is more like 2 or 3 the place is very clean the staff in the bar and rooms are brilliant and very attentive. Reception is okay they tried to sell you excursions and attractions. I suppose they may get some sort of commission. My only two things was. The beds in the rooms, the mattress are like concrete so hard it is uncomfortable. And breakfast was very very poor and not nice things to eat.. in the week we stayed there we only when ones... And I am not a fussy eater.. location of the hotel is around a mile from the port which is not to far the only problem going down it ok but coming up is one mile going up hill.. make sure you have the correct shoes otherwise it's even harder. Night time entertainment very poor and the bar closed at 11 pm. After that if you one a drink or food you must go outside the hotel.

We stayed at Enotel Magnolia for 7 nights and overall had a very pleasant experience. The biggest advantage of this hotel is definitely its location. It is conveniently located close to almost everything in Funchal, making it very easy to explore the island. The rooms are spacious, bright, and comfortable. We stayed in a Garden View room and were very happy with it. There are, however, a few areas where improvements could be made. The breakfast selection becomes quite repetitive during a longer stay, especially if you are staying for a full week. The staff was professional, but a warmer and more welcoming attitude would make the overall experience even better. The food and beverage options within the hotel are rather limited, with only one main restaurant available. The buffet dinner costs €30 per person, and all drinks, including water, are charged separately. Another aspect worth mentioning is the parking situation. Although parking is free, spaces are limited, and if you return to the hotel late in the evening, you may struggle to find an available spot. Overall, Enotel Magnolia offers very good value for money, mainly thanks to its excellent location, comfortable rooms, and good facilities. We would consider staying here again when visiting Madeira.

Highly recommend. Beautiful views! Hotel was clean and staff was so friendly and accommodating! Amenities of indoor and outdoor pools. Entertainment every night. Hotel spa. Restaurant was excellent! Our stay could not have been any better! Would definitely stay there again for our next visit.
