We had a very enjoyable stay at Gran Canaria Princess and would definitely recommend it to couples looking for a relaxing holiday in Playa del Inglés. The rooms are modern, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views from the balcony. The hotel itself is well maintained and has a pleasant atmosphere throughout. The food was good and tasty, with a decent variety of dishes every day. There was always something to choose from, whether for breakfast or dinner, and the quality was better than expected for an all-inclusive hotel. One of the highlights of our stay was the friendly and hardworking staff. From the reception team to the restaurant and bar staff, everyone was welcoming and helpful, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The evening entertainment and shows were excellent. There was something different almost every night, and the entertainment team did a fantastic job keeping guests entertained without being intrusive. The pool area is nice and relaxing, and the adults-only concept makes it a perfect place to unwind and enjoy a peaceful vacation. Overall, Gran Canaria Princess offers very good value for money with comfortable rooms, good food, friendly service, and great entertainment. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return in the future. Highly recommended for couples and anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in Gran Canaria!

What a holiday! We spent 10 days at this excellent hotel. ​Room & Amenities The room was quite basic. Having booked the All-Inclusive Plus package, I expected a bit more based on past experiences at other hotels—such as complimentary room refreshments or extra perks, especially considering the higher price point. While the room was kept spotless daily by housekeeping, it only included a small cooler rather than a proper fridge. Additionally, being located on a higher floor directly above the main stage meant dealing with loud music until 11:30 PM every night. ​Service & Entertainment The service, however, was outstanding. The bar and hotel staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and quick to resolve any queries. The pool area was well-kept with great daily entertainment. Sunbeds fill up quickly around 9:00 AM, but coming down later wasn't an issue; we could easily grab extra beds from the stack and set them up wherever we found space. ​Food, Location & Surroundings The food was as expected with plenty of variety that changed daily, and the entire property was exceptionally clean. The location is convenient and mostly flat, though reaching the beach does require navigating a long flight of stairs. The surrounding area offers plenty of fantastic places to eat and drink; if you are looking for a great night of live music, Mulligan’s Bar is a must-visit!

A beautiful hotel. We stayed here for a week all inclusive, and had a great time. ✨ The hotel is absolutely immaculate, the cleaning staff clean the rooms to an amazing standard and the food was amazing, there is so much variety and choice! You will not go hungry, the food is also to a high standard, the chefs should be commended for their amazing food ❤️ The pool is gorgeous and very spacious, and there are plenty of delicious drinks and snacks choices available to have by the pool 🌊 Only things we would wish to see changed: 1. The air con in the room wasn’t very cool, which impacted our sleep. Maybe this was just our room, but it was a bit of a discomfort when sleeping. 2. Some of the male bar staff (not all) were unfriendly, and came across like it was an inconvenience to serve drinks, which was a shame as it made us reluctant to order what we have paid for. (The female staff we encountered were all absolutely lovely and super smiley and welcoming- I wish everyone was the same!) Overall, it is a beautiful hotel which is worth the money. It would be an ever better experience if the above points were addressed and amended. However, despite these minor issues we would recommended this hotel to all. Thank you for a lovely holiday and we would definitely return to this gorgeous hotel🌞

Food-there’s an abundance of food and you have access to something to eat all day. There is a fairly good selection and they do different themed nights. The vegetarian options are non existent, they have a tiny section of vegan food but every time I checked it looked pretty unappealing, it was basically just sautéed vegetables or vegetables in slop. They could definitely do better with serving more veggie stuff, for instance they had fajitas on Mexican night, why no haloumi or falafel? So vegetarians can’t get involved with the themes as there is no options, just have salad bar and a variety of potato each night. Staff- personally I found the staff pretty rude. They looked like they’re forced to be there and very rarely did I see someone smile. If you asked a simple question it’s like you’ve inconvenienced them. They’re also pretty unhelpful, it was day 3 of being there and we asked for a big water bottle for our room (we were all inclusive, it’s 31 degree heat with two adults, they provided one on the first day and that was it) I was told we cannot have big waters and he went to just walk off. I asked how do we have water in our room, he sighed and dragged his feet to the kitchen a bought out a refillable bottle for €1. Perfect! Why this hadn’t been explained to us on our first day as I had asked a few times for some water and they just point at a cup and walk off. Also on the morning we were leaving we asked at reception if they could book us a taxi to the airport, they informed us it would be €45!! He then said the bus only goes every hour (which is a lie) it’s a 25 minute journey to the airport so we walked across the road and hopped on a bus for €3.50 each (the 66 bus). We save up for months to go on holiday and it would have been nice to have been greeted with a smile and a few friendly faces around, but everyone just grunts at you which really puts a downer on your experience. The room service staff were the only friendly ones, they were also fab at their jobs. They do start shouting to each other very early and did knock on our door on two separate occasions in the morning despite us having the do not disturb sign up, but atleast they had a smile and were helpful. The entertainment was pretty good and there’s stuff to do and get involved in throughout the day. The pool side is lovely and we were always able to get a sunbed. As it’s adults only there’s a lovely chilled, relaxed atmosphere. The facilities are good, we went to the wellness centre and used the hot tub which was also really relaxing. Our room was very spacious with a good balcony. There was works being done on the external part of the hotel, which did have a slight impact as you could often hear drilling (I was reassured when booking it wouldn’t effect the guests) but it wasn’t constant and minimal at times, but we could definitely hear it and aware it was going on. The all inclusive package is pretty good for drinks, you have access to self service beer, aperol spritz and all soft drinks. The cocktails aren’t the best but they’re are certain ones available which is a good option. The location is also pretty good, it’s a short walk to the beach and there’s also shops and bars a short walk away. Overall we had a pretty good stay, it’s just a shame the staff weren’t a bit more friendly.

Great Adult only hotel. We stayed for a week and had a fantastic time. The hotel was very clean, check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and all the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was spacious and well-equipped with a fridge, TV, free safe, and hairdryer. The food was very good with plenty of choice, although it became a little repetitive after a few days. We chose to stick with the standard All Inclusive package as the Premium upgrade didn't seem to offer much extra value. The pool area is excellent, with plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas available at all times. We also enjoyed the free spa facilities, including the gym, jacuzzis, steam room, and sauna. The entertainment team provided great activities during the day and enjoyable evening shows. The location is ideal, with Maspalomas only a short walk away and a bus stop right outside the hotel, making transfers from the airport easy and inexpensive. Overall, a great hotel with excellent facilities, friendly staff, and great value for money. We'd happily stay here again.
