5/5 ⭐ A hotel worth coming back to! Like any hotel, it has its pros and cons, but it definitely deserves 5 stars. The biggest advantage is the staff everyone is incredibly friendly, welcoming and always smiling. You can really see that they do their best to make guests feel comfortable. The only unpleasant situation we experienced happened during breakfast. We arrived a few minutes before the end, managed to get our food, and the chef kindly agreed to prepare fresh scrambled eggs for us without any problem. However, as we were leaving the breakfast area, a staff member who was clearing the tables pointed out that breakfast ended at 10:30. There was a misunderstanding, as we had collected our food before the designated closing time. The situation was unpleasant, but I assume the staff member may simply have been having a bad day. I don’t want to judge the entire hotel based on a single incident. A special big shout-out to the chef who prepares fresh scrambled eggs! They are absolutely delicious, and I highly recommend trying them. We enjoyed them several times during our stay and were always very satisfied! A huge shout-out to the entertainment team: Izan, Ania, Oskar, Klaudia, Alejandro, Tayka, Ana and Bader! They are super friendly, creative, speak many languages, and you can see that they genuinely love what they do. They don’t just organize activities; they actively join in and have fun with the guests. Their enthusiasm makes the atmosphere fantastic and makes every activity even more enjoyable. It’s clear that they put their hearts into their work and go beyond simply doing their jobs! Greetings to the entire bar team as well, especially Pedro and Cintu, who I had the pleasure of chatting with. Such lovely people! Despite a few minor shortcomings, the hotel left us with a very positive impression. The staff’s dedication really makes a difference, and it’s often the people who make a stay special Highly recommended, and a big thank you to the whole team for a wonderful stay! ❤️

We had a fantastic holiday at Abora Catarina and honestly wished we could have stayed longer! The hotel has a lovely atmosphere, beautiful views and great swimming pools where we could relax and enjoy the sunshine. The food was another highlight, with such a wide variety of dishes every day, so there was always something different to try. The animation team amazing. There was a great variety of activities, and the team brought so much energy, warmth and enthusiasm to everything they did. I particularly loved the yoga and meditation classes with Tayka. The animator leading them has an impressive knowledge of breathing, the body and relaxation, and her classes were genuinely enjoyable and valuable. She was also wonderful with children. She seemed to have a real understanding of child development and knew how to make children feel comfortable, included and confident. As a parent, it was lovely to see my 4 years old son gradually warm up to her. I also really enjoyed the Pilates with Ana and conversation with her about life in Gran Canaria. I’d also like to mention Ania, the wonderful Polish dancer and animator, who kindly tried to help us extend our stay. We really appreciated her effort and thoughtfulness. It was lovely meeting her! I enjoyed fitness activities by the pool with the other animators too. The mini disco was another highlight. The animators were wonderful with the children, and it was lovely to see how much effort they put into making the little ones feel comfortable and included. The evening shows were fantastic too! The dancing, acting and performances were impressive and made the evenings something to look forward to. Thank you to the whole team for making our holiday so memorable. We had such a wonderful time and would happily come back again!

Let me start by saying that I read all the reviews before visiting, so my expectations weren't particularly high. However, I want to be extremely fair in sharing my experience. The hotel is actually pretty decent, and I was pleasantly surprised. Most of the customer service, especially from the reception team and the staff in the main restaurant, was impeccable. I must give special recognition to two servers, Amira and Nerieda. These two ladies were always smiling, cheerful, and welcoming. They brought such a positive energy to the restaurant and genuinely made the experience more enjoyable. The rooms are good overall, although the air conditioning doesn't get particularly cold. I brought my portable mini fan, which helped A LOT! The bathroom, however, could use some improvement. The door was chipped, and the water temperature fluctuated between lukewarm and extremely hot without any adjustment. The housekeeping staff were also very polite, professional, and friendly. When it comes to the food, breakfast was consistently good, and you really can't go wrong with it. Lunch was a little limited in terms of variety, but you could always find something to eat. Dinner was good overall. One thing I must highlight is the desserts! Throughout my stay, they were absolutely fantastic and, without a doubt, some of the best I've had at any hotel. Overall, despite a few shortcomings, I had a decent experience. The excellent customer service, friendly staff, and outstanding desserts definitely deserve recognition.

The staff are the absolute selling point! From the reception staff, through the cleaning, restaurant staff, bartenders and most of all the animation team. The animation team does their absolute utmost and their efforts make the holiday and time very pleasant. The rooms are comfortable but dated. The beds are already out of shape and other facilities in the room can be renovated. Definitely the insulation must be improved as you can hear everything from outside. Food is a hit or a miss. Some dishes are absolutely delicious some are very mediocre. It really depends on the theme of the night for dinner per se. Dessert bar is subpar a 4 star hotel. The snack bars are all purely fast food, which is also very poor quality. The coffee is quite poor, unless you buy one, but the alcoholic drinks are good! Very rich choice for drinks, including cocktails made in person.

We arrived on Sunday and overall had a great experience at this hotel. Initially, we weren’t too happy with the room we were given, so we asked if any upgrades were available. The receptionist (I believe her name was Luna) was extremely helpful and checked availability for us. She explained that nothing was free that day but asked us to return the next day after check-out time. When we came back, she wasn’t on shift, but she had already left detailed notes on our booking, which made everything seamless. The team then gave us keys to view two alternative rooms and choose what suited us best. The room we chose was excellent, a lovely open terrace with extended glass balcony views, plus a shower and jacuzzi, which really made the stay feel special. My partner and daughter were very happy with the upgrade. The reception team really stood out. Staff like Luna, Lydia, Tommy, and Oscar were all incredibly professional, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond from recommending restaurants to helping with bookings and taxis. If I had my own hotel business, I would definitely hire all of the staff here. They are extremely professional and a real asset to the company. The management should be proud to have a team like this. Overall, a great stay with excellent service, and I would definitely recommend it.
