We didn’t stay at the hotel but purchased a day pass for $90 USD per person, and honestly, it didn’t quite feel worth the price. In fact, it seems like you could easily walk in without a pass—there are towels located right at the front, and no one asked for any verification that we were staying there or had resort access. The pool and jacuzzi areas are definitely outdated, with visible cracks and several missing tiles. The jacuzzi was also lukewarm instead of hot, which was disappointing. The beach itself had rough waves due to the cooler weather that day, so that part wasn’t the hotel’s fault. However, the shoreline is surrounded by rocks, making it difficult for the public to access without going through the resort. On the positive side, there were a few unique touches that we enjoyed. There’s a designated photo spot on the beach with large Barbadian sunglasses, which made for some fun pictures—just be careful not to touch it. A snow cone vendor came by for about an hour and offered free snow cones, including an alcoholic option, which was a fun surprise. Since we visited on Barbados’ Independence Day (11/30/25), the staff also walked around offering small free samples of traditional Barbadian foods. I’m not sure if these perks happen regularly, but they were definitely a nice addition to our visit. The day pass includes a $60 USD food credit, so we grabbed lunch at the bar. Unfortunately, the service there wasn’t great. Our waitress acted confused and somewhat rude when we asked about how the voucher worked. We also had to wait at least 10–15 minutes just to get her attention, even though it wasn’t busy—she spent most of the time slowly wiping down tables and didn’t seem interested in checking in. Overall, it was a decent day with a few memorable highlights, but between the outdated amenities and the poor service, I wouldn’t pay for this day pass again.

Firstly the positives. Fab location, wonderful view on bay side. If you are facing Hiltons own beach then be prepared for outside DJ noise at weekend until late. Reception staff great, housekeeping staff very friendly and service on room keeping mosrlty positive. Bar service and food service around pool area very slow, even when it's quiet. Breakfast is ok but could be better with regards to quality of food. Only filter coffee and tea included. The general areas of hotel were very dirty though, mens toilet was disgusting on several occasions. Quite a few Americans but the hotel can't help this. Guests from other hotels were using the beach facilities with no effort from staff to prevent this. Also street vendors allowed on beach to pester you, which was very disappointing. Good hotel but could do alot better in places.

We had a great stay. Friendly and informative staff. We lost a wallet at a party. It was found by police and brought to the hotel who helped to confirm we were guests and got it back to us. We enjoyed the burgers, and drinks are always cold.

We stayed at the Hilton Barbados Resort for one night during a transit trip and even though our time was short, we were impressed with what we experienced. The room was spotless and finished to a high standard, with stunning views that made us wish for more time. The sea was very inviting, and the pool looked great. The area is great and lively. In the morning you can see horses being bathed in the sea nearby. There are lots of trees around which make everything feel lush. The hotel is close to the Richard Haynes Boardwalk, a lovely stretch for walks by the sea with beautiful views, palm trees, shops, and places to eat. We had a car hired and there was plenty of parking at no extra charge, which made things very convenient. The hotel is only about 25 minutes from the airport, so it was ideal for our short transit stay. The service was excellent. Staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. There was a small issue with the room late at night, and someone from engineering was sent within minutes, even though it was midnight. Their responsiveness and professionalism really stood out. Even though we were only there one night, the experience left a strong impression. We would definitely return to enjoy more of the facilities and the atmosphere.

I was just at the Hilton Barbados Resort last week with my sister and we had an amazing time. The property is well maintained and has many picturesque views, the staff was super friendly - everyone went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and our needs accommodated. Even those that we just passed by in the hallway always stopped to say hello to us. There isn't much in walking distance, outside of some food stands on Pebbles Beach and Bali Beach Club that's 5 minutes from the hotel that had good food and drinks. I would still say that the location is convenient, being only a $20 USD taxi ride to St. Lawrence Gap (a 15 minute drive), where most of the restaurants and nightlife is. The food was pretty good, but it just takes a while to come (which I find to be a thing all over the island) so don't wait until you're starving to order some food! The rooms were clean and nice, a tad bit on the smaller side in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at. Our room's shower had less than ideal shower pressure, but we made do throughout our stay. They have 3 pools and a hot tub, along with the two beaches, so there are always chairs available. Overall we had a great stay here and wouldn't hesitate to come back for our next trip to Barbados!
