We had such a wonderful stay! The staff throughout the property were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The Globalist benefits were excellent — we received a room upgrade, and later during our stay they were able to move us into a spacious two-room connected suite. Having the extra space made a huge difference and was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a pretty good selection with plenty of options to start the day right, and the breakfast team was very accommodating and attentive. The lazy river was so much fun (even as adults!). It was also lovely to spend a few hours at the private beach, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. I recommend reserving the boat early, as they book up quickly. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset views from our room patio — the perfect way to end each day. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would happily return!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hyatt Regency Coconut Point is an outstanding family resort and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The pool complex is absolutely incredible. The lazy river, waterslides, and beautiful pool areas kept our family entertained every day. It's one of the best resort pool setups we've experienced. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. From check-in to checkout, everyone made us feel like valued guests, and the property itself was spotless and very well maintained. My only minor criticism is the price of the alcoholic drinks. I travel quite a bit and enjoy trying cocktails at different resorts, and the prices here felt noticeably higher than most places we've visited. It wasn't enough to take away from the experience, but it did feel a bit excessive. Everything else exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a family-friendly resort in Southwest Florida with outstanding amenities and exceptional service, this is it. Would I come back? Absolutely. Blessed by the Bishop.

I had high expectations for Hyatt Regency Coconut Point because the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our stay. When we arrived, we had to wait over an hour while maintenance tried to fix our room door. After all that time, the door still wasn’t working. I spoke with a manager, who responded with an attitude instead of trying to make things right. We were finally moved to another room over an hour later, only to discover that the TV didn’t work there either. We reported it, and the staff showed little to no concern. The resort has amazing amenities and is a gorgeous place to visit, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. Many of the younger staff members came across as rude, unprofessional, and uninterested in helping guests. A luxury resort should provide a luxury level of service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that expectation. I hope management focuses on improving customer service because the property deserves a staff that matches the quality of the resort.

The property is beautiful and I loved the lazy river (except the inescapable waterfalls). I was there for a conference and was particularly impressed with Phil’s events team. They were so respectful of the guests and kept our tables immaculately cleared. Access to the island by boat was a surprise and thoroughly enjoyable. Plus, the captain and boat crew were focused on ensuring patrons had a positive experience by slowing for bird and dolphin sightings and their willingness to take family pictures. In addition, our room was incredible with three balconies and two amazing views. The gym was also nice; all the machines were clean and working, plus it was well equipped. For such a fancy hotel, I was quite surprised there was nowhere to find water. I expected a fruity water station somewhere near the entry, a standard in high-end hotels today. I was also surprised the concierge could not provide a running map. Even with the local construction, the path right out the front door is nice and separated from traffic. I found the run to Target (for a cool coffee drink) was perfect for a 5-miler. Surely the 10-mile option would include even more treats. Having the front doors opened every time anyone approached the front of the hotel was a nice touch.

Everything was fabulous. We enjoyed the several restaurant and bars on property. The boat ride to the beach was a stand out amenity. The lazy river was fun, too. This hotel just became my family and I’s favorite resort in Florida! 2 hours from Tampa, 2 hours from the east coast of south Florida — it’s a perfect place to “escape” from reality.
