We had such a wonderful stay! The staff throughout the property were genuinely friendly and welcoming. The Globalist benefits were excellent — we received a room upgrade, and later during our stay they were able to move us into a spacious two-room connected suite. Having the extra space made a huge difference and was incredibly comfortable. The breakfast buffet offered a pretty good selection with plenty of options to start the day right, and the breakfast team was very accommodating and attentive. The lazy river was so much fun (even as adults!). It was also lovely to spend a few hours at the private beach, which was definitely a highlight of our stay. I recommend reserving the boat early, as they book up quickly. We also enjoyed the beautiful sunset views from our room patio — the perfect way to end each day. Overall, a fantastic stay and we would happily return!

I had high expectations for Hyatt Regency Coconut Point because the property itself is absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, the service completely ruined our stay. When we arrived, we had to wait over an hour while maintenance tried to fix our room door. After all that time, the door still wasn’t working. I spoke with a manager, who responded with an attitude instead of trying to make things right. We were finally moved to another room over an hour later, only to discover that the TV didn’t work there either. We reported it, and the staff showed little to no concern. The resort has amazing amenities and is a gorgeous place to visit, but the customer service was incredibly disappointing. Many of the younger staff members came across as rude, unprofessional, and uninterested in helping guests. A luxury resort should provide a luxury level of service, and unfortunately, this experience fell far short of that expectation. I hope management focuses on improving customer service because the property deserves a staff that matches the quality of the resort.

My stay at the Hyatt Regency was incredible! I stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was spacious and well-designed, but my favorite part was the bathroom—it even had a little TV! The views of the bay are absolutely top-notch, and the sunsets are just insane. The service and amenities were great too, especially the pool with the fun waterslides. Breakfast was solid, and I highly recommend the fresh-squeezed orange juice! A lovely highlight was the 5-minute caricature drawings in the lobby—such a unique and charming touch. Overall, a fantastic experience for anyone looking for great views and fun activities!

Nice resort with water slides, lazy river, young kids pools and slide, adult lap pool and adult Jacuzzi. Although the hotel isnt directly on the water it does have a private beach with a boat shuttle to get you there. Excellent breakfast buffet with omelet station and a few of the hot items changed daily which was fun. Went during Presidents day week and it didn't feel crowded, would visit again.

What a wonderful family-friendly resort!! We heard wonderful things from friends and various forums sharing this Hyatt is the place to vaca with kids and it did not disappoint! The lazy River, various pools and water slides were fun - our kids were too small to ride the two larger water slides but they had a more medium sized slide and a baby slide in the younger children pool area which was fun. There was plenty to do and there was a fun schedule of activities for kids — they had hair wrap/braiding by the pool too. We also enjoyed the Cool Beans Marketplace for a quick mid-day snack or iced latte. The pool restaurant, Corkscrew) was nice but gets extremely busy during lunch hour (12-2pm), we had to wait over an hour for our food one day which was frustrating. The private ferry to Big Hickory Island was the highlight of the trip - you can make a reservation with the Excursion/front desk attendants and take a 12 minute ride across the preserve to an island with beach chairs/umbrellas, pavilions with food and bathrooms and can get a real taste of the wildlife (crabs, dolphins, manatees and snorkeling for shells). We wish we went earlier in the day but it was a bit rainy during our stay but we found a nice window to take the trip! The rooms were nice and we appreciated the adjoining option - we were on floor 10 and the walls seemed thin at night - we could hear people above us and in the hallway and our neighbor open and close their drawers. Not the biggest deal but I think given the age of the hotel, there isn’t great soundproofing. There were also some things dated about the bathroom (cracks in tiles, rusty shower doors), it needs a bit of a refresh in that department but we had a lovely stay with our two young children!
