The Pink Shell Resort truly delivered some of the best service we’ve ever experienced while traveling. The staff was exceptional, and the beach itself is absolutely gorgeous. We especially appreciated the adults-only pool, which was peaceful and a perfect place to relax. There were a couple of downsides worth noting. The traffic getting on and off the island can be challenging. If you stay on the island, you’ll likely be fine, but we boated out of Salty Sam’s Marina just a few miles away, and it sometimes took up to 45 minutes to get over the bridge. The rooms offer beautiful ocean views; however, they felt dated and in need of refreshing. The furniture was a mix of older, bulky pieces and plastic mirrors, which made the space feel tired rather than warm and inviting. The balcony furniture, in particular, seemed worn and dirty. On a positive note, the pools are very well maintained, and the unlimited towel service is a great touch. The on-site dining options are decent overall. Rae’s is excellent (highly recommend making a reservation since it’s small), and breakfast was good — especially the made-to-order omelets. While we probably wouldn’t return, families with small children or grandchildren would likely find this resort to be paradise. One more thing to note: If you have the time, there is a high speed boat that goes to and from Key West daily from Salty Sam's Marina. Highly recommend that day trip if you've never been to Key West.

Even though we were only there for a couple days, everything was great. Loved walking right out to the beach then coming back for a great breakfast at Jack's. Pools were very nice too. We liked that there is one adults only pool if you want some quiet for a while. Gary the front desk manager was an added bonus. He helped us with an airline issue and was very accommodating and friendly. We will be back!

This is a beautiful property located right on the beach in Ft. Myers Beach! There is so much to do around the area and on the property itself, from complementary bike rentals, kayak rentals, movie nights, poolside activities, and delicious restaurants to grab any meal! Breakfast was INCREDIBLE and had the best omelet I have ever had - prepared by a super nice man named Freddy! I personally met the Housekeeping Director and Manager during my stay and both Diana Cabrara and Jennifer Espinal were amazing! I also met Gary Lee and Neil and they were also very kind and welcoming! LeeAnn was so sweet and wanted to ensure all the poolside guests were comfortable. I will definitely be back soon!

The wife and I wen’t with our son, DIL and 7 & 5 year old grandkids. We had a very good time. Some things they did exceptionally well, and even in saying that, we wouldn’t return. First, their staff are the very best I’ve ever experienced at a resort property, and I think I’m qualified to say that being a Lifetime Titanium member with Marriott. Kudos to their staff training team, and for their presumably also paying their team members well to allow them to hire the best. The beach experience was great, no need to get out early to reserve chairs and they promptly provided umbrellas on request. The beach was great, walk right in, no shells or rocks, great for young kids. The pools were nicely heated as were the hot tubs. While the breakfast buffet had a good omelette station, beyond that it was unspectacular and the room had a frenzied feel to each breakfast. So we had a good time over our 4 days despite 3 of them being during a streak of colder than average temperatures. We didn’t let that spoil our good time as we did fun things in the area: shell collecting on Sanibel, visited Manatee park, great little train ride at the RR Museum of So. Fla at Lakes Park. Why wouldn’t we return? Beyond the beach and the pool there seemed to be little else offered to justify the crazy expensive price we paid for these 4 days. We just couldn’t see the value.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Pink Shell. It exceeded our expectations. The 1 bedroom villa was gorgeous and the beach, pool and sunset views were unforgettable. We loved breakfast at Jacks. Tyrique and Ronald were so, so sweet and attentive. The valets Eric and Westin were fantastic. Westin literally sprinted to get our car even though we were in no rush. ALL The staff were all so kind and friendly. I wish could remember them all. Beatiful place and experience. Sad to leave. 4 days is too short.
