Excellent value for a family vacation. Hot breakfast to die for -- luxuriant, delicious, bacon-rific... If Ronald is your server you will love it even more. Staff is super nice -- always so friendly. The beach chair and umbrellas are heaven on earth... If you burn in the sun. these umbrellas will keep you completely shaded and cool. We came AGAIN! THREE TIMES! I highly recommend! Also, 3 planets after sunset: Venus, Mercury, and Saturn! Good job Pink Shell!

Absolutely love this resort. I go every year. Very nice. Kid friendly. The sunsets are beautiful. You can even see the sunrise on the other side. Rooms are very clean. Everyone is friendly. The buffet breakfast is included and has alot of options.

We stayed in the Sanibel view building and were happy with our accommodations. The room and bathroom were both spacious. The shower was large if only I could say that about the closet. I wanted to recognize Kaydrean as she is a remarkable hostess. On our first day she was leading us to a table when I requested outside accommodations. She single handedly cleared an entire table to accommodate our request. She made us feel welcome and went above and beyond. At breakfast Devin was our server a few times throughout our stay. He was pleasant and attentive. Many staff members were there making for a memorable stay.

My wife and I, in our 60's, wanted a 3 night winter retreat in Florida. We used a standard AI program and gave it a list of amenities we strongly desired. AI gave us a list of locations across all of Florida and Pink Shell was #1 on the list. Website looked awesome so we chose. The Pink Shell delivered! Completely enjoyed everything about the stay. There are a Goldilocks of 3 buildings, the active/vibrant main building above the Octopool, the quiet Sanibel villas, and the just right for us Captiva villa building with a full on breakfast buffet with an outstanding omelet chef a few floors below our room, The room was super clean, private bedroom, private bath, private toilet, nice full kitchen and living room, big TV and huge enclosed lanai. Three pools ranging from active with kids to a private adult only pool. Beach setup was perfect with chairs and umbrellas set every day. Plenty of activities and excursions on-site or nearby. Pool bar with decent bar food. Rae's Italian excellent upscale dining. Other dining readily available down the strip with available Pink Shell bikes and free trolley system. All of the waitstaff were very friendly and helpful. Everything has been thought out in advance and whatever you desire is likely at easy access. Thoroughly enjoyed and hope to come back someday.

We were a bit anxious about waiting for our room, even though they did get us checked in before the deadline. But once we stepped inside, we understood why—the room was like stepping onto a cruise ship! The extra effort the cleaning team put into making it look so good was totally worth the wait. We even found a beautiful display on all the towels, washcloths, and paper towels! Huge thanks to them for their hard work. The hotel had so many fun activities and amazing restaurants. We didn’t have to leave at all with three great places to eat and delicious food that we really enjoyed not having to go out. Also, a huge thank you to the staff. From the front desk to the valet, waiters, and waitresses, the service was excellent. We’re definitely coming back!
