Good hotel with comfy bed. Room with pool view was adequate but balcony very small only for 2 people and very tight. Good selection at breakfast with an egg station. Has 3 swimming pools with one for adult only. Always able to get sunbed and they supply pool towels. The hotel backs on to the beach but you can only really go in the sea, could sit on the beach but no beds. Room cleaned everyday house keepers friendly and smiling. You are on the main road but set back so its quiet. Around 30 min walk from fishermans village. They offer a shuttle every evening for 50 bhat at 7pm and 8pm. There is onsite laundry room with iron and ironing board. The hotel is showing some signs of wear and tear but this did not affect our stay. I would stay here again.

We stayed at ibis Samui Bophut in January with our 5 year old and it turned out to be a really great choice for a family trip. From the first day we felt that this place truly understands families. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and kids genuinely feel comfortable here. The room is not huge, but it’s very well designed, cozy and practical. A big comfortable bed, a balcony, smart use of space. When you travel with a child, functionality matters more than size, and everything here just worked perfectly for us. The pool area is a big plus. There’s a dedicated kids zone with a slide, but also enough space for proper swimming. Both little ones and adults can enjoy it, and everything is close to each other, which makes it easy and stress free. The location is another strong point. The hotel is right on the beach, so you literally walk out and you’re by the sea. With a child, that makes a huge difference. There are also shops and restaurants within walking distance, so you don’t need to plan complicated logistics every day. Breakfast was very good. A wide selection, a separate kids menu, an egg station, and even the option to create your own soup. Even with a slightly picky eater, it was easy to find something every morning. Everything felt fresh and well organized. The staff were friendly and helpful, with a natural and relaxed approach. There are many families staying at the hotel, including those with babies, so the whole vibe is very family friendly. No one gives you “the look” when your child is being a child. There’s also a playground that quickly became part of our daily routine. A big plus for the beachfront restaurant. In the evenings you can sometimes enjoy live music, order food by the pool, or even have a more romantic dinner by the sea once your little one is asleep after a full day of fun. It’s not an over the top luxury resort, but a very well managed, thoughtfully designed family friendly hotel in a fantastic location. If you’re planning a trip to Koh Samui with a child and want something comfortable, safe and easy, this place is definitely worth considering.

If you’re in Koh Samui, this is one of the most comfortable places to stay. 10/10 for real. The beach is right in front, so mornings feel peaceful, and it’s close to Fisherman’s Village with plenty of great cafés and bars. A 7/11 and pharmacy nearby also make everything easier. My friend and I planned to stay one night and ended up extending because we genuinely loved the place. The rooms are clean and modern with beautiful sunrise views. There’s a gym, a pool table, a nice pool area, and the hospitality felt warm throughout. The breakfast buffet had a good range of options, and overall the stay felt like great value for money. I’d definitely come back.

Great location and lovely spot at the beach. Pool area is nice with snacks a bar and a restaurant. The breakfast buffet is also fine. Rooms are a bit on the small side but for that price you won't find much better. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The place offers games you can borrow, a pool table in the lobby, a small gym and a diy laundry room.

As you would expect from an Ibis hotel, this place has everything you need. It's not fancy but clean, great breakfast and has all the facilities to make your stay comfortable. Direct beach access, fire shows and an excellent tour company based in the lobby made our stay really great. Self-service laundry facilities are available. Approx 15mins walk to the night market and Fisherman's village. Plenty of good and drink options on the doorstep.
