Matcha Samui Resort

I really enjoyed my stay at Matcha Samui Resort! The location is fantastic, right on a lovely beach and close enough to walk to the centre of Chaweng, but far enough away from the noise to enjoy peace and relaxation. A perfect balance! The room was spacious, clean and very comfortable, with an excellent bathroom and a great shower. Complimentary drinking water, coffee and tea were provided every day. The swimming pool was lovely, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. But the real highlight was definitely the hospitality! A very special thank you to NEEL and GBOW at reception! Both were incredibly kind, helpful and professional. They assisted me with renting a scooter, gave me useful information about flights and airline tickets, and were always available to help with any questions or requests. Their friendliness, patience and genuine care made a real difference. They truly went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. It’s always the people who make a hotel special, and the team here certainly does! Great location, spacious and comfortable rooms, beautiful beach, lovely swimming pool and exceptional hospitality. Highly recommended! I would definitely come back. A big thank you to NEEL, GBOW and the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable!

Very good hotel not the most modern, but it is a good value hotel. Its on a good location on chaweng Beach. It's not too busy and has a nice pool right near the beach. The staff are kind and friendly the rooms are clean and there is a free breakfast buffet.

Just finished up 16 amazing nights in this hotel. It is in a great location close to bars shops and restaurants. Rooms are spacious with a great pool area connected onto a fantastic beach with sun loungers provided on the beach. The main thing that stands out is the staff in this hotel from the front reception, house keepers and bar/restaurant staff nothing was ever too much they made it such a pleasant experience and stay.

Very nice stay in a great location directly on Chaweng Beach. At first, the two separate hotel buildings felt a little confusing, but after the first day it became very easy to understand and move around. The room service and housekeeping worked perfectly throughout the stay. I was especially impressed by the shower water pressure and the stable water temperature, which was honestly one of the best experiences compared to several other places I have stayed in Thailand. The pool area and beach area were both very relaxing and well maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. The location is also excellent, with many restaurants, shops, massage places, and nightlife within walking distance.

Beds are rock hard rooms dont look like the pictures as advertised and the bathrooms are so small you cant even turn yourself around. Breakfast is so small and really below standard for what you get at any other hotel in thailand. Very dissapointed
