This was my second stay at IL Mercato Hotel and Spa and once again everything was excellent, the hotel looks beautiful, the atmosphere feels relaxing and elegant, and you can see that attention is given to every detail. The rooms were very clean, comfortable and well maintained, which made me feel at home from the first moment. The food was very good, with plenty of choices every day, fresh ingredients and great taste, so every meal felt enjoyable. The staff were polite, friendly and always ready to help with a smile, and the management clearly does a great job because the whole place runs smoothly and professionally. The location is also very convenient, close to shops and places to walk in the evening, which made the stay even more pleasant. I truly enjoyed my time here and I will definitely come back again, I fully recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and high quality holiday experience. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We've just returned from our third stay at the wonderful IL Mercato hotel, and once again, it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality. This hotel truly feels like a home away from home. Exceptional Service A special mention must go to the hotel manager, who consistently demonstrates incredible kindness and care. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-equipped. The pools were sparkling and refreshing, and the splashpark was a huge hit with our daughter (and us!). The convenience of having a McDonald's right there was an added bonus! We are already planning our next trip back from the UK and can't wait to return to our favorite hotel! Thank you, IL Mercato, for another unforgettable holiday!

This hotel felt more like a madhouse than a place to relax. For seven days, the same food was served over and over again: chicken, zucchini, and potatoes. The dishes were either excessively salty or overly spiced. Meals served at lunch were simply reused for dinner. This might be common in some all-inclusive hotels, but here there were only one or two main dishes, and everything else was constantly repeated. I ended up losing weight because I could barely eat anything at the hotel. Local guests admitted to the hotel were filming my wife and daughter without permission. They were constantly walking back and forth in front of us in a very uncomfortable way. The same local guests were shouting and making noise in the corridors at night. Even when reported to reception, nothing was done. This is absolutely not a place you can safely come to with your wife and daughter. These local guests were also behaving in extremely unhygienic ways at the buffet, touching all the food with their hands and even picking meat directly from dishes with sauce. No warnings were given, and no action was taken by the staff. The reception staff were completely unhelpful. In particular, the man with glasses showed no interest in resolving any issues. No matter what you explained, it made no difference. They were rude and irresponsible. This hotel is definitely not suitable for families. Leaving this place without experiencing serious harassment feels like an achievement, as you are constantly disturbed. Especially on weekends, groups of aggressive, intimidating men arrive at the hotel. They sit around staring at women in a disturbing way, shouting, and behaving as if everything around them belongs to them. They occupy sunbeds with their shoes on, watch people around them, and move in groups of three or four. Finally, this hotel would barely qualify as a 1-star property by EU standards. Safety and cleanliness are at the lowest possible level. Do not be misled by its 5-star rating. It is far better to pay a bit more and choose a different hotel.

I was very disappointed with my stay at IL Mercato Hotel & Spa. I booked a Superior Room, but the room I was given was far from superior and had numerous maintenance and cleanliness issues. The bathroom exhaust fan was not working, the door hatch/lock was broken, and we had serious issues locking the room door. On two occasions, I had to go back to reception because the door would not lock properly. When a staff member finally came to check, his attitude was extremely unprofessional — he spoke to me as if I was lying and appeared visibly unhappy to be dealing with the issue. In general, staff throughout the hotel seemed unhappy and irritated with guests, which made the experience very uncomfortable. The bathtub had a visible crack, which management initially ignored. When we later discovered that water from the shower was leaking down to the floor below, only then did the hotel react and move us to another room. This should never have been allowed in the first place. In the bathroom, the bath plug was missing, and despite complaining to reception, nothing was done. Cleanliness was another major concern: - The area behind the fridge was dirty and filthy - Spotlights were hanging out of their holders - Mirrors had black patches and were clearly not well maintained Breakfast was also disappointing. The food did not taste fresh and appeared dry, as if it had been sitting for days. This was well below the standard expected of a hotel claiming a higher rating. Out of the three hotels I stayed in during my time in Sharm El Sheikh, this was by far the worst experience. In my opinion, this hotel does not meet the standards of a 4-star property and feels more like a lower 3-star hotel at best. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to room maintenance, cleanliness, food quality, and — most importantly — staff attitude toward guests.
Nothing H
⚠️HONEST REVIEW⚠️ first of all this hotel is a solid 3.5 stars nothing above nothing below. There is a bunch of pros and cons that I will go through and keep in mind. This is my third time visiting Sharm Al Sheikh. And I’ve been to multiple hotels here. Let’s talk about the cons first 1. Very bad Wi-Fi. You would get lucky if you can run a full video without getting interrupted by lag or disconnected Wi-Fi. but also, sometimes you get lucky and it runs pretty good 2.cold swimming pools, other hotels I’ve been to are way warmer pools than this 3.The food, now the food is decent. I wouldn’t count it as cons but I’d have to put it here because it’s not the best for breakfast. It is very limited options. But on the other hand, lunch and dinner. Are pretty decent and they have a lot of variety and the nice thing is, you can eat as much as you can same with breakfast. You can get as many eggs cooked as you want 4.SOME of the staff’s attitude especially (Mohammed naiem) at the reception or however you spell his name is one of the WORST employees and will ignore you when you try talking to him 95% of the staff are very nice to you, and will smile at you once you look at them and very kind but the staff at the reception are not as nice and very rude 5.Dirty rooms, I booked 3 separate rooms for my family and in 2 of the rooms was basically infected by mosquitoes and bugs. I had to kill about 10 bugs just in the bathroom alone. rooms are kind of old for the hotels environment. MOVING TO THE PROS 1.dinner and lunch, as I said in the cons, it has a lot of variety of food and is decent and good it’s pretty worth it they also have a lot of dessert and treats same with vegetables. 2.has an aqua park about 4 slides if I’m not wrong maybe 5 and a pretty decently big kids place to play in (also aqua park) 3.very nice atmosphere in the reception The reception feels warm and welcoming right away, with a stylish design and calm vibe that makes checking in smooth and enjoyable. 4. The hotel makes getting to the beach super easy with its free shuttle, and once you’re there, the clear Red Sea water and great snorkeling spots make it totally worth it. 5.the activities they offer in evening at night they have a DJ and a bar at the rooftop and also sometimes down at the lobby the bar which the alcoholic beverages are free if you get the all inclusive package so you can drink as much as you want😛 6.i know i mentioned the staff in the cons but as i said 95% of them are very kind and friendly, especially the ones working at the rooftop and restaurant downstairs and a special bonus for the guys (Mohammed) at the front door he’s one of the nicest employees he’s always opening the door for me and smiling and also (fares) with sort of curly hair and (jackson) i think that’s how you say his name and basically everyone in the activity group, also can’t forget the DJ he’s very nice and kind. everyone is also very approachable if you need any help or have any questions the nice thing that caught my attention is a bunch of them speak a lot of different languages 7. Security is very solid and won’t let any random people in without wristband and with regular patrols, especially at night, so you can just relax and enjoy your stay without worrying about anything.
