The Joy Island All-Inclusive concept includes the following:

  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner served at the main restaurant,
  • Afternoon tea/coffee with snacks (4.30pm to 6pm)
  • Bottled water and drinks served by the glass, including soft drinks, beer, espresso, sparkling wine, house wine and pouring spirits such as gin, vodka, whiskey, brandy, tequila, rum, arrack and martini (10am to 12 midnight, drinks consumed after 12 midnight will be charged at the normal rate)

We had an amazing stay at Joy Island Resort, and everything about this vacation was exceptional. The island is absolutely beautiful, with crystal-clear water, white sandy beaches, and a very relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were modern, spacious, and extremely clean. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and high-quality options every day. The all-inclusive package was very well organized and truly worth it. A special mention goes to Hassan, our host, who made our stay even more enjoyable. He was professional, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. His warm hospitality and attention to detail made us feel welcome from the first day until departure. Joy Island Resort is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for a luxury yet comfortable Maldives holiday. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to everyone!

Had the most amazing time at Joy Island . The staff was amazing and very friendly. They were so hospitable and made us feel welcome and made sure we were looked after. Naveen was very attentive and always making sure we got what we needed. The restaurant staff Tutu, Richal,Remi,Sandun, rozairo and all staff had a smile on their faces and made us feel at home. Apart from that Hambe, Raghu, Bandula, Sanih, and rest of the management team and chefs Anton , Iresh and Tharanga were amazing. The food was a major highlight. Chef Tharanga’s Sri Lankan crab meal was sensational, and Pastry Chef Iresh is a genius with his pastries and desserts. A special mention to the tiramisu—it is hands down one of the best we have ever tasted anywhere in the world! Thank you also to Chef Anton, Chef Sandun, and the whole kitchen crew for their amazing hospitality. We can’t wait to come back! Can’t list all the names here but everyone was so nice to us and we will come again for sure. Thank you Joy island staff and management. Keep up the great work!❤️

Our stay at Joy Island Resort was comfortable and relaxing. The resort is well maintained, with a compact and convenient layout. The rooms were clean, and the service was generally good. The staff were polite and responsive, and the overall atmosphere of the island is calm and suitable for a peaceful holiday. Thank you to the resort team for the organization of our stay. We would also like to thank Ako personally for the attention and care shown to us during our visit. The personal approach and willingness to help were truly appreciated.

Our stay at Joy Island in the Maldives was absolutely amazing and exceeded all our expectations. The water was crystal clear and turquoise, and the sand was beautifully white – exactly how you imagine the Maldives to be. We would especially like to highlight our host Maria, who was always friendly, helpful, and professional. From the very first moment, we felt truly welcome and well taken care of. A big compliment also goes to our restaurant attendants Richarl and Garcia. They were always attentive, warm, and provided excellent service. The all-inclusive food was outstanding, with high quality and a very good, diverse selection – something for everyone. We will definitely come back. Joy Island is a stunning resort with a lot to offer. The beaches are absolutely gorgeous, the island is immaculate, and our room was spotless throughout our stay. The majority of the staff were genuinely lovely, warm, and hardworking, which made parts of the trip enjoyable. Unfortunately, our honeymoon was significantly affected by a homophobic incident involving a staff member on day three of our stay. We raised this immediately at the time it happened. However, despite reporting it early on, no meaningful action was taken until day nine , and only after we had to raise the issue again because it had completely ruined our experience. From day three onwards, we felt uncomfortable and unable to fully relax, which is not how anyone should feel, particularly on their honeymoon after paying a significant amount for what is marketed as a luxury, inclusive resort. The resort manager did make efforts towards the end of our stay, which we appreciate. We were offered a small room upgrade for the final two nights, a floating breakfast, and a dinner at the Japanese restaurant. However, these gestures came very late and did not make up for the distress experienced earlier in the trip. Unfortunately, the floating breakfast arrived cold, and at the Japanese restaurant the starters were also cold due to waiting for all guests to arrive for the cooking show, which further added to the feeling that the solutions were more symbolic than restorative. While Joy Island is undeniably beautiful and many staff members were excellent, the way this situation was handled left us deeply disappointed. Raising a serious concern early on, only to see it addressed days later when the damage was already done, is not acceptable , especially for a honeymoon. We wanted to love this place, and in many ways we did, but the experience fell short of what we had hoped for and what should reasonably be expected.
