To say that Kagi island resort and Spa felt like a piece of Paradise on earth is an understatement! Beautiful Landscaping with lush vegetation set in the middle of turquoise, aquamarine and sapphire waters of the Maldives, the island is a visual feast. The underwater scenery is equally stunning with the healthiest coral reefs I have encountered with tropical fish of every color and shape! Yes, the currents can be a bit strong, but that's what keeps the Reefs healthy by bringing in nutrients, removing wastes and dispersing eggs etc. If you are not a confident swimmer, I highly recommend booking a guided house reef snorkeling session. MSTS divers were so helpful, and gave my parents a truly spectacular guided house reef tour by 'Imaan' where they held on to a life buoy ring, maneuvered by him. Special thanks to Ahmed also, for the snorkeling lesson and the rest of the dive team for the Manta experience (where we ended up seeing more nurse sharks and stunning shoals of fish). Nurse Shark experience with Rimaz was also amazing, where we also ended up seeing Eagle rays! The Villas are luxurious and very well equipped. We were celebrating dual milestones of 40th Anniversary for my parents and my 40th Birthday and we were 3 of us in the villa. But it never felt crowded as there was ample space for storage and beautifully anointed bathrooms, including indoor and outdoor showers. Aiham, our house keeper, kept our villa spotless with twice a day room cleaning schedule. Shinan, our shared butler, was very prompt in responding to our questions and requests and made our experience seamless. We opted for full board, which meant all three meals were Buffet style. But every day and every meal, the culinary team consisting of Jarov, Devan, Chathura and Carlo (Sous Chef) outdid themselves with the sheer variety and flavors that were on offer. The food never felt repetitive. At every meal, several live cooking stations like Pasta, ramen, grill, hot pot etc. kept us excited. Also, a special mention about the Ufaa Bar, and Ram, who made us adventurous cocktails! The vibe at the Ufaa bar in front of the infinity pool, especially at sunset was truly magical. My mom and I also opted for a couple of massages (Balinese and Oriental) at Baani spa, which is one of the highlights of the resort. Maria helped us with the booking and she was so much fun to talk to and very well-informed. Our masseuses were Ria and Candra. They had the healing touch and by the end of my second massage, my tennis elbow, which has been troubling me since last year was gone! We purchased a photography package and Hilman, the photographer, was such a delight! He is a true artist and very patient and takes great pride in his work! From the minute I made reservations, until our final send off on the sea plane, we encountered nothing but warmth and superb hospitality. We were greeted everywhere by smiles and cheerful, engaging conversations. We felt truly pampered and were sad to say farewell to the lovely island staff, the lone Heron on the island, the bait fish and baby black tip reef sharks....But until next time!

We went to Kagi for our honeymoon and had the most amazing time! The resort was so peaceful and serene with an amazing house reef. We enjoyed great snorkeling excursions and our ambassador Shinan was so friendly and helpful. We had some miscommunication issues when pre-booking some excursions but Shinan helped get everything booked as planned. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We loved the outdoor private pool and deck where we can see all the stars at night. The all inclusive plan was a great deal and let us try all the food options at the resort which were great. Highly recommend the resort!

An unforgettable week at Kagi Maldives « perfection from A to Z » We spent one incredible week at Kagi Maldives, and everything was simply perfect from beginning to end. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the reception team, and throughout our stay every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Housekeeping was impeccable, the waiters and waitresses (Mohamed Wadif, Raakin, Mohamed Ismail, Dorji, ⁠⁠Irfan…)were attentive and genuinely kind, and the overall service was outstanding. The food deserves a special mention: it was extremely varied, fresh, and absolutely delicious every day. A big thank you to Chef Mikael and his entire team (Chef Ignacio, ⁠Chef Jarov, Chef Carlo, ⁠⁠Chef Darwin, Chef Shatura, ⁠⁠Chef Neeraj…) for the amazing culinary experience. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr Areef, Mr Shafi (the doctor), Mr Maish for taking such great care of our villa, Miss Juliane (from Berlin, apologies if I misspelled your name), Mr Wiam, and all the staff whose names we may have forgotten but who contributed to making our stay so special. The spa experience was exceptional, my wife and mother absolutely loved it and had a truly relaxing and memorable time. A special thank you as well to Mr Areef and Mr Shafi for sharing a fun and memorable pickleball game with us, a great moment we won’t forget. Kagi Maldives is a true haven of peace, extremely quiet, calm, and perfect for relaxation, where luxury meets genuine hospitality. We leave with beautiful memories and can’t wait to return. I had a wonderful honeymoon at Kagi Maldives. The accommodation and food were amazing—far better than I expected. The reef, in particular, was absolutely unbelievable. It was unlike anything I had ever seen before, and I truly enjoyed snorkeling during my stay. I went snorkeling every single day, yet I never got bored. One downside was that some of the staff at the restaurants and the Ufa Bar were not as friendly or kind as expected. However, all of the chefs at Nufaruu were incredibly kind and welcoming, and their service made me very happy. Overall, I would say Kagi is one of the best destinations I have ever visited, and I would definitely love to come back again if I have the opportunity in the future.

Just got back from the most amazing stay at Kagi Maldives and honestly, it was perfection from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, the staff were so warm, friendly, and welcoming. The location is unreal: incredibly peaceful and serene, surrounded by the most beautiful shades of blue and turquoise everywhere you look. It truly feels like you’re a world away from everything. I stayed in an ocean overwater villa and it was absolutely stunning — sleek, minimal, and beautifully designed, with direct access to the house reef. The architecture and decor throughout the resort are tasteful, clean, and understated, which makes the whole place feel calm and effortlessly luxurious. Diving and snorkelling were hands down a highlight. We saw dolphins, turtles, sting rays, sharks, and thousands of fish. The food was also excellent, with great variety and consistently high quality across all meals. My favourite had to be the Maldivian curry! And the spa…wow. Easily one of the best I’ve ever been to. Incredibly relaxing, rejuvenating, and the perfect way to completely switch off and reset. Overall, Kagi Maldives is a true slice of paradise. Would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful getaway. Already dreaming of going back.
