Here’s a polished version that keeps your points strong without sounding overly emotional or ranty: We recently stayed at Kuros Palace in Kos and unfortunately the experience was extremely disappointing. The hotel has clearly been renovated recently, but it looks nothing like the photos advertised online. The images are very misleading and feel like false advertising. Calling this a 5-star hotel is unrealistic — in our opinion it would barely qualify as a 3-star property. The food quality throughout the stay was very poor. The buffet felt more like a basic canteen than a luxury resort dining experience, and we even found hairs in our food on more than one occasion. The “sushi restaurant” advertised on the website was not operating at all during our stay. When we asked staff about it, we were bizarrely told we could still go up to the rooftop to take pictures. The à la carte restaurant was also disappointing. The menus were printed on paper, staff could not explain the dishes properly, and my vegetarian main course was genuinely awful. The room itself was not maintained to a high standard. The door was badly damaged and beaten up, the cups provided were dirty, and rooms are apparently only cleaned every two days, which is shocking for a hotel claiming to be 5-star. The facilities also did not match what was advertised. The luxurious padded sun loungers shown online were actually cheap plastic loungers, and the day beds and bean bags shown in promotional photos simply did not exist. To make matters worse, when we arrived late in the afternoon the only food available was a sweaty wrap left in cling film at one of the bars. The WiFi barely worked throughout the stay as well. The beach was also unfinished and looked honestly a little dangerous so we didn’t even walk down to it. Overall, this hotel massively overpromises and underdelivers. We left feeling extremely disappointed and would not return or recommend it to others expecting a genuine 5-star experience. I would like to add however that we were listened to by Jaro at the front desk who was helpful and accommodating offering us a room upgrade. He was lovely and very kind.

I felt like sharing a review about this hotel. Overall, the hotel is not bad: the territory is large, well-maintained, and full of greenery — from roses to banana trees. It really makes a nice impression. The food is also good, thanks to the chefs! I especially want to highlight the wide selection of fish dishes — every day there was fish in any form, plus cheese and olives — simply amazing! Very tasty 🫶 Special thanks to the bartenders as well — the cocktails were made professionally. The pools are also great. However, unfortunately, the room we were given was a complete disappointment. Cleaning was done only every other day, and even then barely at all. The bathroom was shocking: mold on the tiles, very slow-running water, and a terrible smell caused by the mold. The room was constantly dusty — even above and under the bed there was trash left from previous guests. The soundproofing was also very poor. The room really needs urgent renovation. I truly hope the management pays attention to this, because it is very important.

We had a wonderful stay at Kouros Palace Hotel in Kos! A special thanks to Nikki at the front desk, whose professionalism and kindness truly stood out—she made our last day unforgettable. The hotel’s gardens are beautifully maintained, creating a serene and relaxing atmosphere, and the tranquillity of the area makes it perfect for a peaceful holiday. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with plenty of fresh and tasty options. The only area for improvement would be the overall quality of the food at lunch and dinner, which could be better, but breakfast more than makes up for it. Overall, a great experience and highly recommended!

My family and I sayed here for the last week of August 2025, and were all very happy with the experience. The staff were amazing, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the food was relatively basic but varied, and the atmosphere was relaxed and child-friendly. Yes, planes do fly directly overhead, but they are in no way disruptive, and never bothered us or seemed to bother anyone else. Yes, maybe the rooms could be considered dated, but things like that don't bother me, and I wasn't expecting gold-plated faucets anyway. Maybe the little shop nearby was overpriced, but I didn't notice, and they seemed to have anything anyone would need. The beach isn't right outside the front door, but it is very close, maybe a few hundred meters away, and yes one day there was a lot of seaweed, but the next day there wasn't and it was one of the best beaches I've ever been on. The food was good for me, but I'm not hard to please in that regard, but my more picky wife, and very picky kids were happy with it too. Maybe the Kids Club should have had more daytime events or activities, but mine spent all day playing in either of the 2 kids pools anyway; and I know they absolutely loved the kids disco every night, and it was the highlight of their holiday. The kids playground was really good, but there wasn't any shade so it wasn't useable for most of the day. The service and staff were very, very good, and I really feel that needs to be emphasised. Overall, despite minor little issues, I was very happy at Kouros Palace, I would visit again, and I would recommend it.

Second year here as a couple and going to book next year. The all inclusive is great and has good variety but I would only ask that the allergy information gets filled out properly at the buffet please. Both of the guys at the main bar (the two Georges) went above and beyond for us as well as Billy always taking care of our table. Riggs the entertainer is great at hosting events during the day at the pool and in the main bar every few evenings. The staff make sure you feel well looked after and leave a great impression. See you all next year!
