It rarely happens that nothing disappoints me on a vacation, but it was something about this place that I just cannot explain. Here everything was truly flawless, and I felt absolutely wonderful! We had a dream honeymoon at Meeru. I don’t even know where to begin, because there were so many things that impressed me and to be honest I almost cried when it was time to leave the island. The room was cleaned daily, even twice a day, and the housekeeping staff were extremely attentive, always making sure everything was perfectly in order. The staff deserve a perfect score. No matter where you go or who you meet, everyone is ready to help at any time. From the moment we arrived until we left this wonderful island, we were surrounded by truly amazing people. The food was outstanding, with something new every day. With the All Inclusive Plus package, we were also able to enjoy four à la carte restaurants, where the food was absolutely delicious. The drinks were just as impressive! As for the beaches, they were simply breathtaking. We stayed on the north side, in Water Villa 703, and I highly recommend this area because it felt much quieter and offered stunning views. It truly is an oasis of peace and relaxation. I wholeheartedly recommend Meeru, and we sincerely hope to return to this incredibly beautiful island as soon as possible! 🌴✨

The hotel itself is absolutely stunning. Everything was truly perfect: the entire resort is very clean and well maintained, the food was varied and of very high quality, the beach and the underwater world are incredibly beautiful, and the staff are motivated and extremely friendly. Our children had a great time at the kids’ club, where there are small activities every day. It’s pure relaxation in paradise! I’m deducting one star because two things bothered me. First: We had to wait almost three hours for the transfer from Malé Airport to the hotel, even though several guests from Frankfurt and Zurich arrived on time. For a luxury hotel, I would have expected better planning here. Second: We received information by email about upgrading from full board to all-inclusive. The details in the PDF we were sent were, in my opinion, incomplete and misleading. On the one hand, excursions were listed that are also included with full board (such as daily snorkelling at the house reef), and on the other hand, certain drinks — for example mango lassi or milkshakes — are not included in the all-inclusive package and must be paid for separately. So why call this upgrade “All Inclusive Plus”? You would really have to consume a huge amount of alcohol to make up for the substantial extra cost. All in all, however, it was still a wonderful holiday, and we would book this hotel again.

Meeru Maldives Resort Island was an amazing experience with friends and truly one of the best trips ever. The hospitality was outstanding from the moment we arrived, with the staff being warm, friendly, and always helpful. The rooms were awesome—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. There was a great variety of food and drinks, all delicious with plenty of choices for everyone. The entire island was very neat and clean, making the stay even more relaxing. The highlight was definitely the next-level fun with water sports, which made the trip exciting and unforgettable. A perfect place for a fun getaway with friends!

This was our second visit to Meeru, and once again it delivered a truly memorable experience. This trip was especially meaningful as we were celebrating my parents’ milestone birthdays, and it was their first time in the Maldives. It was the perfect introduction to island life, combining relaxation, beautiful surroundings, and exceptional hospitality. A huge thank you to the team who really made the stay special. Joseph, the Resort Manager, was consistently visible around the island, checking in with guests and ensuring everything was running smoothly. Special mention also to Saif, Bista, and Ni Luh, who kept us incredibly well looked after throughout with food and drinks, always with a smile. The diving team also deserve recognition for taking us out on the house reef, where we were lucky enough to spot turtles, a real highlight of the trip. The island continues to evolve in a positive way. The water villas are fantastic and we really enjoyed the recent upgrades, particularly the driving range and the new gym and studio, which are exceptionally well equipped. Whilst the beach villas could benefit from a refresh, it’s clear this has been recognised and is part of their future improvement plans. It would be nice to have slippers offered in the room, as well as Prosecco and a few more inclusions in the Asian Wok menu for the all inclusive packages. For anyone looking for a strong all inclusive offering, with great food and drink, plenty of activities, and a relaxed but well run environment, Meeru is a great choice.

Our stay at Meeru Island Resort was absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfectly organized and the staff made us feel very welcome. The island itself is stunning — turquoise water, white sand, and lush greenery everywhere. The food was excellent, with a great variety at every meal. We especially appreciated the themed dinners and the fresh seafood options. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding — the staff were always friendly, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and offered amazing views. We also enjoyed the activities and excursions offered by the resort, from snorkeling to sunset cruises. Everything was well-planned and added to the overall experience. Overall, Meeru is a perfect destination for relaxation and a true Maldivian experience. We would definitely love to come back!
